Coming out from the Magic Shop
Kane put on the Space Necklace and felt the additional space beside him.
He pulled out a coin, tossed it into the space, and then stretched his hand to take it out again.
Like this, he kept repeating the action, thoroughly enjoying himself.
Kreya just watched the man beside her, repeatedly doing the boring action.
What's so fun about this?
Kane finally got enough, and tossed the Gold Coin into the space.
"Thank you so much today, without you, I might have been ripped off."
Thinking about how he would have lost 1,000 gold today if he had not invited Kreya, he couldn't imagine that pain.
Kreya covered her mouth, chuckling softly: "You also helped me out, didn't you."
Then she thought for a moment and suddenly asked Kane: "Kane, are you familiar with the surroundings?"
"I have a fair idea, I took a stroll when I first arrived."
"Do you know where there's a Potion Shop around here?"
This I actually do know
"I know, I'll take you there."
Kane led Kreya, starting to weave in and out of the streets.
In no time, they arrived at the entrance of a narrow shop, if it weren't for the potion sign hanging out front, who would know this was a Potion Shop.
Pushing the door open and stepping inside
A sharp smell hit them in the face, like toilet cleaner mixed with lemon juice invading their nostrils.
Kane and Kreya immediately covered their noses.
Yoo's eyes glowed green, detecting into the air.
"There's a strange smell in the air, no toxic substances, the environment is safe, recommend covering your mouth and nose."
The entire shop lacked a counter, only rows of shelves filled with densely packed Potion Tubes of various colors.
The entire space was long and narrow, and there was a large cauldron standing inside the shop, with a figure in a tattered black Long Robe stirring inside.
To be honest, is this really not a witch's hut?
The figure saw someone enter, picked up a nearby lid to cover the cauldron, and walked over.
He came over and removed his hood.
He appeared to be a young man not much older.
But then
His slightly yellow hair was dry as a bird's nest, cheeks sunken, skin pale as wax, and deep-set eyes surrounded by thick dark circles.
He wore a tattered robe, the whole person seemed weak, walking as if being dragged.
This appearance made it hard not to suspect, would he suddenly collapse and then scam you?
Seeing him like this, Kane couldn't help but ask: "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, just didn't sleep well." As if to reassure Kane, he forced a smile that looked worse than crying.
Does this look like the result of not sleeping well?
Have you not slept for a week?
"So, what would the two of you like?" His voice was so weak it would be flattering to call it feeble.
Kreya looked around and asked: "Do you have copper-colored recovery series potions?"
"Yes." He dragged his body, leading Kreya to a potion shelf, "Here are the recovery series potions."
Kane peeked to see
The space was so cramped, it was barely enough for Kreya, so he could only peek over her shoulder.
There were three layers of potions, each layer displaying the same color potion.
From top to bottom they were blue, red, orange.
Are these the famed red and blue bottles, then what is the orange one?
This doubt was immediately answered by Kreya.
Kreya directly took one tube from each layer from the shelf and smelled them one by one.
Nodded and said: "The Life Potion and Magic Potion are both pretty good."
Then she picked up the orange Potion and asked: "But this Physical Potion is human-sized, too weak for demi-kinds."
The shopkeeper nodded with fish-like eyes, dragged himself to rummage in a box nearby.
Watching his movements, Kane could barely hold back, shouldn't you be called Lightning?
Under the shopkeeper's slow actions
Finally
He pulled out a potion box, opened it to reveal large bottles of orange potions.
Giving it a look, Kreya nodded in satisfaction.
Kreya took 2 blue bottles and 5 red, and then took 4 large Physical Potions from the shopkeeper's box.
"How much are these in total?" she placed the potions neatly and asked the shopkeeper.
The shopkeeper looked at them and said: "Life Potion is 150 each, Magic Potion 100 each, large Physical Potion 250 gold."
Hearing such prices, Kreya nodded too.
It counted as fairly reasonable pricing.
Hearing such prices, Kane also took 2 blue potions, 2 orange, and 3 red potions.
"Ordinary Physical Potion 100 gold" seeing Kane's regular-sized Physical Potion, the shopkeeper added.
Seeing Kane and Kreya pay so straightforwardly, the shopkeeper prepared to provide a bit more service.
"Let me help you pack the potions."
"No need."
"No trouble."
Kane and Kreya spoke up in unison.
Letting you pack, isn't that too torturous.
Seeing his kindness rejected, the shopkeeper felt a bit miffed.
He watched Kane and Kreya leave the shop.
"Is my service attitude bad?"
Leaving the Potion Shop Kane and Kreya
As soon as they stepped out, they took deep breaths of the fresh outside air.
"The smell inside is just too awful," Kane couldn't help but say.
Kreya nodded in agreement but added: "But the potion quality in his shop isn't bad."
Kane looked at her and asked: "You have some knowledge about potions?"
"Of course," she picked Yoo up from the ground "But I only know a bit on the surface."
Then the question arises, what else do you have a surface knowledge of?
Feeling a bit pinched
Looking at the position of the sun, Kane asked: "Kreya, is there anything else you want to buy?"
"Haven't decided yet, why don't you take me for a tour around here, Kane."
Kane didn't suspect anything and nodded: "Sure, I'll lead the way."
He seemed not to understand the weight of a woman's indecisiveness and desire to stroll.
At dusk
Kane dragged his weary steps following behind Kreya.
From the rhythmic sound of Kreya's steps, one could tell she was in a good mood.
She held Yoo, humming a lovely tune.
But Kane wasn't feeling any joy right now.
In his previous life, he was quite a homebody, always focused on studying in school, constantly overtime working after joining society, and used his only rest time for gaming and watching anime.
That's why he was able to comfortably handle taking a woman with four legs for shopping.
He was now wondering, what let Kreya explore this small town for so long, is it her feminine human side, or her horse side?
Suddenly Kreya said ahead: "Kane, that shop over there looks nice, let's check it out."
???
Kane was a bit puzzled, he looked at the Potion Shop not far ahead, confirming his sense of direction wasn't wrong.
"Didn't we just visit this shop after leaving the Potion Shop?" Kane couldn't help reminding her.
Kreya glanced around, even passing the Potion Shop, couldn't help but say: "Really? Have I been here before?"
The Yoo in her arms couldn't hold back, it launched a map into the air, showing the town's full view.
Yoo even thoughtfully marked Kane and Kreya's route.
The route zig-zagged covering almost every street in the town.
Alright, now even I could be considered a local, Kane couldn't help thinking.
Kreya looked at the map, a bit disappointed: "Have we finished exploring the town, what a pity, then let's head back to the tavern."
That's not a pity at all, I'm about to jump for joy.
