The underground hall was bustling with noise.
The timing was perfect; most of the explorers were about to finish their day's exploration around this time.
Kane and Kreya appeared on the stone platform, while other explorers continued to return.
Under the soft moonlight, the lights on either side of the road flickered occasionally.
Showcasing the long history of the place.
They pushed open the door of the Big Gold Tooth Tavern.
The instant they walked in, the aroma of various foods hit them.
The tavern was filled with guests, as it was dinner time.
A silent, burly man in an apron moved back and forth among the tables.
From the bar, one could see Burton's busy figure through the kitchen door.
Kane did not disturb him and instead tore off a piece of paper nearby.
"What do you want to eat, Kreya?"
"A roast suckling pig and a steamed fish."
He nodded and wrote on the paper.
A roast suckling pig, a steamed fish, a flavored beef leg.
"Do you want anything to drink?"
"A pot of honey juice."
He continued to write, a pot of honey juice, and a glass of white fruit wine.
Deliver it to Room 113.
He placed the note and gold coins on the bar, nodding to the approaching waiter.
"Let's go, we'll head back to the room first. I'll have them deliver dinner there later; there's no available seating for us here now."
They followed Kreya to her room.
Why not go to Kane's room, you ask?
Because my room is too small, not suitable for dining with Kreya.
Once back in the room, Kreya immediately changed into her casual clothes and lay on the bed.
"Ah, so comfortable, it's still best on the bed."
Kreya looked blissful as she hugged her pillow.
Watching her, he chuckled wryly.
The valiant centaur sometimes behaved like a little girl.
"Teaming up is indeed efficient. If I was alone today, I would have been severely injured and had to withdraw."
A hint of relief flashed across her face.
Kane nodded in agreement, thinking that dealing with goblins alone was already tough enough for him.
The centaur was suddenly curious and asked Kane, "Where is your hometown, Kane?"
This wasn't a question that needed to be kept secret.
"At the world's border, Kara Town."
Upon hearing that Kane lived at the edge of the world, her interest was piqued.
"Can you directly see the boundary mist at the world's border? Have you seen it before?"
Kane recalled his first journey through the Laka Forest.
Back then, looking up, the sky seemed divided, with towering white mist reaching into the sky.
"You can indeed see it; I've seen it before."
"What is the boundary mist like? I've only seen photos and drawings, never the real thing."
Before Kane ventured into the Giant Wood Forest, there were no dungeons around the border, so reaching the nearest teleportation station took more than ten days.
"How to describe it? It's breathtaking. The world is shrouded in white mist. I'll take you to see it next time. Now that there's a dungeon at the border, we can get there quickly."
"It's a deal then."
The time passed in such casual conversation until dinner was delivered.
Kane got up and opened the door, finding Burton with a large tray outside.
"Why does the boss need to deliver the meal in person?" Kane asked as he took the tray.
He placed the food on the table, which fortunately was custom-made in Kreya's room; otherwise, it wouldn't have fit.
Burton, holding a small knife, began helping to carve the pig on the tray while asking, "How's your coordination?"
"Very good, Kane is amazing," Kreya said as she helped carve her food.
Kane sat down, saying, "Teaming up is truly efficient; we cleared two levels in one day."
"What!" Burton was shocked at their efficiency. "You cleared two levels in one day without a scratch?"
"Not entirely unscathed," Kreya showed her arm, where only faint green marks remained after using healing potions.
Seeing the so-called 'injury,' Burton was momentarily speechless. What difference was there from being uninjured?
"I knew you were impressive, but I didn't realize you were this impressive," Burton sighed, knowing the difficulty of the Crystalline Arena from running the tavern.
With Kane and their pace, they'd clear it in less than a month.
That was the time it took the top 5-person teams.
"In the future, you'll definitely become outstanding explorers," Burton remarked.
Kane nodded happily, "We definitely will."
Kreya nodded in agreement while elegantly enjoying her food.
"Haha, I'll leave you to your meal then," Burton said, taking his leave.
After seeing Burton off, Kane returned to his seat and continued eating.
Quickly finishing,
he got up to say goodbye, "I'll head back first; let's meet at the bar tomorrow morning."
Reaching the door, he added, "Yoyo, could you help tidy up the table later?"
"Okay, master."
"See you tomorrow, Yoyo."
"Ah, Kane, you're so kind," Kreya cheered, delighted that Kane left Yoyo behind, and she hugged Yoyo happily.
Kane smiled and returned to his room.
The night passed without incident.

Morning
When Kane arrived at the tavern's bar, the centaur had already changed into her gear and was eating breakfast.
"So early," he greeted while eating the already-set breakfast.
Kreya petted Yoyo beside her, "I slept well with Yoyo keeping me company."
Finishing breakfast quickly, they headed towards today's target.
Passing through the familiar fog gate
Came to the familiar corridor
No need to say more, armor up.
Arriving at the arena, it was still the same as yesterday, unchanged.
Would they just fight through the arena to the 15th level like this?
Ignoring the noise around,
waiting for the crystal hourglass to sound the bell.
"Dong."
The familiar bell rang.
The competition began.
Seeing the first wave of monsters materialize, they would be this level's theme monster.
What new monsters would they see today?
A figure appeared, about as tall as Kane, with large tusks in its mouth, hunched over, with blue skin painted with patterns.
It held a long spear in its hand and carried three short spears on its back.
This was a Giant.
It seemed like today's monster was indeed a giant, Kane thought.
As usual, the moment the giant was fully formed, an arrow flew towards it.
The monster's strength was essentially determined by that single arrow.
If it died instantly, today's clearance would be relatively straightforward.
If it blocked the arrow, it would merely require a bit more effort.
The Giant Hunter sensed the attack and quickly stretched out its arm to block it.
The arrow pierced through its arm, but it merely frowned slightly.
As it tried to pull out the transparent arrow, it disappeared, leaving blood flowing.
The blood only flowed a little symbolically, and the wound healed at a visible pace.
The giant ignored the injury as a centaur charged in.
