"Uhm... I see! Thank you. Sorry, can I have a word with your boss? Is he in? Can we see him?" Brooklyn asked with a pleading tone and was speaking with hasty utterances.

"Ahmm, you can see him, but I don't think you are going to go in there with your friends because the rules here doesn't permit that." The secretary informed and looked at Brooklyn in a way that shows she was in need of her making a quick decision whether she was going to accept going in alone or walk away with her friends.

"Okay, okay, fine. I'll go in to see him alone. Where is his office?* Brooklyn asked immediately without hesitating.

"That way! I'll lead you." The secretary pointed to her left which should be to Brooklyn's right and when Brooklyn left with a word of "thank you," the secretary quickly continued her previous discussion with the man on suit standing in front of her desk.
