He knew there must be someone in there or something beyond that point that was of great or notable important to them, and so he wished to know what it was up, with believes that barrister Kent might be held hostage. He withdrew and went back to meet the others when he got back,

Jason sputtered with a low authoritative tone of voice to ensure they obey him without trying to ask any questions and it worked pretty much well until, though not for long. The moment they got into the vehicle and Clinton was started to drive, Brooklyn asked Jason immediately,

"Did you find him, Jason? Did you?" She asked in desperation to know.

"I did not, Brooklyn. Clinton, keep driving!" Jason replied and scolded Clinton who was about to stop the car in the middle of the bridge just because he said that, even when he had not even finished his statement.
