"Dad!" Lilly exclaimed brashly as she immediately followed him on his way out, keeping her neck slightly bent to both look at him and to make him look back at her to see how disappointed she was when he gave that order.

"What, Lilly?" he asked in a rough vociferous tone without looking at her face while his feet hasted to get into a helicopter few meters in front of him.

"He is my friend, I just told you, and now you want to punish my feelings? What are you doing!" She yelled at him with so much energy in her vocals, expressing her displeasure in his attitude and the extent to which she has been pissed off.

"I am protecting you, sweetheart. You can thank me later. Now go in and be a good girl. I need to go now. I am having a speech at the conference meeting right now. Wish me luck." He sputtered, opening the palm of his hands as he looked at her with a rather pitiful face while taking a step to hop into the helicopter.
