Chapter 1: Introduction

Love.

What is love?

Our protagonist a average man with an average face wondered as he looked at the orange sun that was going down.

He felt different types of emotions as he thought back to anything he can put love into.

He had his first crush back in 3rd grade it was a girl named Hana she was a beautiful girl that he felt his eyes bust out as he thought back to her. But he felt that what he felt back then wasnt love more of admiration for her beauty.

His admiration for her beauty gradually got known by his classmates as they started teasing him. Kids stuff.

That day he didnt know why he did that as got embarrassed by his younger self. He proposed to Hana, his teacher.

He started shaking his head while making a face that was about to explode from embarrassment.

He had other crushes too but they were the same, all he did was admire their appearances and gradually fell for them but. What he felt wasn't love.

What was love?

He thought as his heart started beating fast.

My heart..

He looked down as he felt his heart beating faster.

He had always had problems with his heart beating slower than it normally is, he felt a lot of things when he heard he had a medical condition about his heart. His face turned from a embarrassed expression to a regretful one.

If only he listened to his friend back then.

He sighed and shook his head as he looked up towards the sky with his chin up.

Can't change it.

It was his motto in life, no matter what. If you keep getting hung up on things from a long time ago, nothing would happen even if you think hard enough for it. Eventually all you would hurt yourself as you feel that if you just did that or do that or not do that. That's the wrong way of thinking.

As he punched himself in the face and smiled. Whenever he was feeling unmotivated he would punch himself in face 100% full power, which would lead to him getting bruises but it didn't matter to him. What about bruises? If you didn't eat for a whole week you'd die, so a few punches to the face won't kill you. Atleast all it would do would rock your brain and kill you if your brain shut off.

He chuckled as he started leaving the place.

He started walking step by step as he looked around looking at the scenery, the people, and the cars. The loud beeping sounds, sounds of people talking. It was peaceful.

Normally this wouldn't be considered as peaceful, but he liked this.

He left the place as he entered the train all the way to his town.

It was already night time as he breathed in the fresh night air and smiled. He walked to the towns lake side as he watched the water ripple indicating that there were fish swimming inside of the lake.

He sat down near a bench as he put his stuff down.

He took off his jacket letting the cold night air seep into his body, making him shiver.

He started hearing footsteps approaching him as he looked behind him, he looked at the girl behind. She was beautiful as he admired her appearance.

She walked up to him fast as she opened up her mouth.

"I haven't seen you around here before? Are you new here?" She said while looking at him in the eyes.

He responded with a polite tone.

"Yes, it has been my first time in this town. I wanted to visit as I had a lot of stress built up from work.

He laughed a bit and started at the lake.

The girl also did so as she sat down right next to him, she was getting comfortable at the way Haru was talking.

Haru had always been great at talking with people and making them comfortable while they were talking to him.

"I also have stress building up inside for the last few weeks as a a certain boy keeps making frustrated. Hmph!" She thought of a orange haired boy kneeling to her the other day.

"Are you frustrated?" Haru said while looking at her.

"Well.. its just, he's the first one to ever make me like that and he's hanging out with other girls makes me frustrated." She sighed while looking back at their interactions.

"If you're frustrated, let it out."

"What do you mean?" She said and watched Haru stand up near the lake and open his mouth.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" He screamed with all his might as he gasped for breath.

He turned towards the girl as he smiled.

"See? Just let it out haha."

Suddenly the world seemed to stop as she looked at Haru that was smiling looking at her, she felt her heart beat faster as she looked at him with her eyes shining.

"Come here, try it. It removes all of your stress right away, I guarantee." He motioned for her to come and let all of her stress out.

She stood up as she screamed with all her might.

"AHHHHHHH!!!!"

She smiled as she turned her head back around only to find the man that was there was gone as she looked at the letter on the bench.

"Thank you for accompanying me in this evening, goodbye miss." The letter was short as the handwriting was a bit messed up as it looked like it was written very fast.

She smiled as she treasured this paper.

"Thank you." She muttered in a low voice while holding her head up high.

Back to Haru who was running to a nearby hotel to settle in for the night.

"She was beautiful!" He screamed as he thought of her blue shining eyes and small face.

If only he hadn't gotten so nervous he would have definitely fumbled and said something wrong. It was a good thing that he was good at communicating or else he would have fumbled.

He signed up for the hotel and went inside his room as he looked at the night sky.

He jumped to the bed as he let out snores indicating he was sleeping.
