Thank You

Prince let the doctors and nurses to check up on her for a while. She didn't retaliate, so it wouldn't be that hard for Prince to tag her along.

Outside of her room, he dialed a number on his phone, and ordered someone.

"Send me the details I prepared for Aria De Leon's identity. Please text it to me as sooner before lunch. I need it." Prince hung up the call at once, and slipped it inside his pockets.

Right when the doors open, he rushed forward, a big question in his face. In fact, he was just pretending. Prince doesn't have the courage to deal with the girl that is supposed to be dead. He just had to catch her heart, make her comfortable to him, then boom, he would launch his big plan when the stream go along his way.

"What happened to her, doc? Is she alright now?"

"Unfortunately, we spotted signs of miscarriage up until now. We don't exactly know exactly how we can manage it, but for a week, she needed to stay here." It would be a nuisance to his normal life. He's supposed to come back to his life after the plan got executed. He's going to cover tracks here and there, pretend that Avery was missing, and that he'd call everyone for their help.

It wasn't going to be long before they realize that Avery was missing. This morning, someone would call him.

And he had to brace himself of what to happen.

"Alright. If she had to stay here, then, just do whatever it takes to let her heal. Make sure the baby is safe, doc."

Prince smiled.

"Mr. Prince Gomez, what is your relationship with Ms. Aria De Leon?" The doctor knows him. Of course, he was a known personality, and the son of the fallen Ian Gomez. Yeah, he does have to embrace himself that everyone would know him.

"I'm the one who delivered her here in the hospital. Don't worry. I'll pay for her treatment. Just put me…" Prince must have been that reckless upon retrieving his prosecutor and business card down a nurses' clipboard, and giving him a beam. The nurse blush a little as he took care of the business cards.

"… as her guardian. I'd take care of the bill," Prince mumbled.

Prince went inside the room, and Aria was now sitting. The nurses helped her to lift the bed a little, her back leaning on a soft, huge pillow. Prince met her eyes, and for a moment, he observed her sad eyes. Aria rested her hands right on her lap, raising her eyebrows.

Prince unbuttoned his coat, hung it to the back of a couch, and turned to her. The silence was deafening.

Aria asked, "Who are you?"

Prince halted right on the seat. Her eyes were searching for answers. So eager Prince had to be careful at, and those sweet gazes were too deceiving at. Prince bit his bottom lip, tried to walk to the couch, and Aria called out, "Don't come near me."

Prince slowly looked at her, wondering why she couldn't remember. Aria must be in that intense pain for her not to know.

With what Bryce had done to her, she doesn't want to trust anyone anymore, especially that her past lover harmed her. It was something she'd never forget. Aria would never tolerate a terrorist and sadistic man to stay beside him.

Prince asked, "Do you not remember me?"

His voice was courteous, deep, and in its sincerest tone. Aria's heart skipped a beat. She disliked the aura of the guy at all. It wasn't good for her to overthink it, but what if this man… also had the same temper and attitude Bryce possess?

"I asked who you are. You shouldn't answered back and not fire me with another question," Aria retorted. She pursed her lips. Aria's close enough on clutching the hem of her blanket. Aria was keeping a close eye on how he behaved inside the room.

He seemed pretty decent, with his hands on an open gesture. Aria swallowed.

Prince gave up. It's not good to argue with someone who didn't know you are.

"I'm the one you bumped into when you're in the park. I was jogging that time, and I don't know what to do when I saw your leg bleeding. So I called a cab and deliver you here. It has been a day since you fell asleep," Prince explained. There are no lies in there, and even he… was surprised. He clenched his jaw.

Aria's eyes softened after a bit. She turned to the bedside table, and surveyed the room. It felt odd to be in a proper facility that can take care of you. Aria sighed, checked the back of her hand, and the drip sipped through her veins. It's wonderful, but…

The worry crossed her face once again. Prince hurried up and sat down on the stool, close to Aria.

"Don't worry. I'll be the one to take care of your bill. You don't need to hitch out that IV. The doctor said your symptoms might worsen if you don't stay here?" Prince asked. His words were fast, and by staring at her, he felt at ease. Prince saw the copycat of Avery, and he couldn't deny he could still see her feistiness over Aria's softness.

Avery's eyes were smoldering with fire, but Aria isn't. She's kind-hearted, as Prince can observe.

Aria turned to the IV, and sighed. It's the second time… someone took care of her. It's a guy again.

"There are signs of miscarriage. Maybe… it was the result of me running over the mountains last night," Aria confessed. Prince have gone curious, and turned to her attentively. Aria nipped her lips tightly and didn't say anything further.

Prince assured, "C'mon, say it to me. I'll understand it where you come from."

Aria turned to him skeptically, and stared at his eyes. Prince assured, beaming. Aria still didn't have an ounce of strength to talk, and just dismiss its fact. Although Prince knew what happened, he still wanted to go on the details.

"I don't trust you that yet. And even though you're the one who helped me, I don't want to come close to a stranger," Aria answered. Prince wasn't taken aback. It was just normal. Prince nodded.

Prince said, "Alright, I understand. You can say it to me when you're ready."

Aria sighed, and turned to the other side, squinting at the clock. Prince remembered he'll buy some breakfast. Prince reminded, "I'll go down to buy you some soft bread. You aren't allowed some coffee, but do you want to have some orange juice?"

He walked to the couch, retrieved his wallet inside the coat, and Aria stared at him.

Prince wondered, "Hmm? Do you want some juice or just water?"

Aria sighed. "Orange juice."

Prince nodded, and said he'll come back. He walked to the door, was about to come outside, when Aria halted him.

"Wait up."

Prince held onto the handle, looking at her again.

"Thank you for saving me. I don't know if I could… still live without you there."
