Episode 11: Howl

We rushed to a hospital. I ran towards the counter upon seeing nurses doing their jobs.

I heave a breath. "Where's Maddison Madrigal?" I asked in a trembling tone, still stamping my feet out of being in a hurry.

I stole her attention easily. She gazed at me. "Hi, let me check for awhile!" I gulped upon hearing her soft voice, couldn't think of anything else in being frightened. I held my cheeks, could now feel my hands trembling.

What the fuck uncle did to her? This is so miserable. I freaking hate him for what he did over some money? Immatured as hell!

He's an actual demon with nothing to offer, can't even imagine that aunt fell for him.

I clasped my hands. "You'll be rot in hell." I stated in my rumpled mind and diverted my gaze on a documents piled on a counter.

"Are you her relative?" She asked upon lowering her eyes. I nodded, found myself tounge-tied, once again. "I see, she's on room 21. Thank you!" She retorted. I started to walk in the ward, could even hear my heavy footsteps.

My heart's pounding. I bit my lips upon glimpsing at those room numbers. "Where is it?" A sigh escaped my mouth, still trying to calm myself.

A few moments later, I felt a hand resting on my shoulder. I gaze at it. "Celestine," I called out her name. My voice still trembling, "I'm terrified." I gulped as I shrugged my shoulder.

"No, don't be. Everything is alright." Her reassuring tone made my body calm. "Oh, room twenty-one!" She uttered.

I was about to open the door when a doctor came outside, making me widen my eyes in shock. "Doc, how's my aunt?" With an alarmed tone, I asked. I crossed my fingers behind me, reciting a prayers.

He closed the door after he diverted his gaze at me. "She's in critical condition," I heave a breath, could still feel my body trembling. He took off his face mask. "but don't worry, she'll be fine. She needs to rest her body." He flashes a wide smile as he tapped my shoulder.

"Please, do everything what it takes. I'm begging!" I pleaded upon wiping my tears out of being terrified.

I gaze at Celestine who's now biting her lips. "Trust them, Isabelle." She reassured, just nodded with her. I sat down on a chair on the waiting area upon trying to calm myself down.

I clasped my fists, trying to hold my tears. "It's his fault." I bit my lower lip as I closed my eyes.

"Tell me, it'll be okay. Right?" I diverted my gaze on her as I reached her hands.

I hugged her. "Thank you so much, Celestine." I spoke. If she didn't help us, we were in a morgue, mourning by their relatives.

She hushed. "Don't mention it, okay? It's my pleasure to save Mr. Houston's wife." I frowned.

Did I heard it, right?

I gulped. "Mr. Houston?" I asked in astonishment upon blankly staring at her. She seemed so lost after I caught her eyes. "Y-you mean a billionaire will be my husband?" I gulped upon seeing her nod.

I was tounge-tied. I must say that what's between us is huge, really!

I gaze at a hallway upon wearing a gloom. "Where is he? I mean, he had an emergency in the middle of the night?" I hastily said as I heard a resounding siren, indicating that there's an emergency.

"I don't have an idea." She answered. I nodded in devoid of emotion, still in a sober.

"This is an expensive hospital, Celestine. I saw lots of elites that I kn–" She cutted my words off.

"Yeah but don't worry about the bills. He paid it." A sigh escaped my mouth. I blushed as her words resonated to my ears.

"He must be kind then." She gazed at me. A grin appeared from her face and then nod.

"Want something?" I nodded. We stood up from where I was sitting.

We pulled up to a coffee shop. Luckily, it is open for twenty-four hours. I sat down in an isolated area with a stamp. I caressed my cheeks upon closing my eyes. "Want some coffee?" I heard her voice.

"Just brewed coffee, please..." I answered with a strained voice, found myself mentally exhausted, couldn't do anything. Why is it getting worse?

I was trapped inside these shits with no one could help me. I'm inside into this unpleasantness. I just wanted to get some rest in all of these.

I forced to open my eyes as I heard her heels clicked on the marble floor. I quickly diverted my gaze at her. She seemed so flawless, even had the behavior of a beauty. I mean, it's in the middle of the night but she looks so fine!

I flashed a smile at her. "Thank you so much!" I uttered after she handed me a coffee.

She sat down in front of me, still kept staringat me. "You look so tired, Isabelle. It's a petty that you have to deal with all of it." She said, making me nibble my lip. I nodded.

Yeah, she's freakin' right. Why do I have to deal with it? Is there still a chance that I could escape in these? I wanted to surrender badly, couldn't handle those pain anymore.

I sipped a coffee, hoping that it'll wake my mind up. "Sorry for disturbing you, Celestine." I gaze on the table, trying to escape her sight.

"Its my job, okay? You have nothing to worry about." She said as she held my hands and slowly touching my fists. For some reason, it made me calm.

A few moments after I heard a ringtone coming out of her pocket. I frowned. "Let me answer this, excuse me."

I watched her having a conversation on someone. I furrowed, she looks distressed.

I heard that she said my name. "What are they talking about?" I asked in myself. I sipped a coffee again out of being cold.
