Tiana Almirez is an illegitimate child born into a rich family. She is a smart girl with a case of low self esteem. Or at least she was.

"See ya Steph", I waved as Grace and I headed over to our next class.

"You were talking to the new boy earlier", Grace said.

"No I wasn't", I answered her calmly.

"Olivia saw wrongly, she said so herself", I told her.

"Mh mhm, I know you better than that you can't fool me", she said.

"Well I'm not trying to fool anyone. Do you really think I'd spend my time with someone like that? I really couldn't be bothered", I said calmly as I walked ahead while she paused.

"He came looking for you, you know?", she said suddenly causing me to pause as well.

"The new boy, that is, that day you weren't in school, he came looking for you", she said and my heart beat quickened.

I heard her walk up to me in calm, slow steps before saying in a soft voice,

"I thought you couldn't be bothered?"

And with that she walked away leaving me standing there in a daze.
