I ran back as fast as I could. I'm not used to running and all the obstacles on the way kept me from reaching her faster.

The meeting was held on the closest area to the south west region, so getting back to the camp in the forest wasn't that hard.

Silvia is strong. Really strong in the matter of fact. But she has one weakness which is her mental state. Because of that, she can easily be deceived by taking advantage of her trauma. If manipulated, she can become a very powerful weapon.

It took me fifteen minutes to reach the camp.

Upon reaching, I could hear loud screams and bang like noises. I got worried. I only caught my breath for a few seconds and ran to the source of all the noises.

The closer that I got, the more I smelled blood and saw corpses. It was horrifying.

I was shocked to the core. Most of the trees were torn down and different kinds of mutilated corpses could be seen all around. Oh God, there are even children among them.

Shit, I need to calm down. I just need to get to Silvia quickly and calm her down. It might not be easy, but I have to do it.

As I was running, I saw a person running in the opposite direction. It was a woman.

We made eye contact and she then sprinted towards me, pulling me to the ground.

"Hey, where do you think your going? DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THERE?"

"I don't, but I have a good idea about the situation."

"That girl is insane. Listen to me, just turn tale and run. There is no point going there. YOU WILL GET KILLED DO YOU UNDERSTAND?"

"LISTEN, I get it. thank you for worrying about me. I now her, so I can't leave her."

After listening to that, she calmed down and got off me.

"I see. She was screaming someone's name. Leon, I think."

"Yes, I'm Leon. Leon Walker. Can you tell me what went down when I wasn't here?"

"Alright. But I'll make it quick."

"Thank you."

Silvia's domain doesn't expand very far, so it will take some time for the effect of her skills to reach here.

"Basically a man approached her while she was zoned out. Upon seeing the man, she was very frightened. They were having a big argument. That was the time where I walked away so I didn't clearly see or hear what they were saying to each other. After a few minutes, screaming sounds started to pop up and I could see people starting to run away from the camp. Getting closer I could see a big circular red void, engulfing most parts for the camp. After that, I ran, and saw you here."

I see. This happened because her mental stats are low, I'm sure of it.

What do I do now? If I use my loop skill, I will be able to go back and fix this. But is it worth the loss of a loop?

Things are well now. I mean, mostly. I didn't consider at least one of Silvia's acquaintances would be summoned here. If I can calm her down, I won't need to use the skill. But if I can't, well, I will not have another choice but to use it.

"Alright. Thanks for the explanation."

"No problem kid. Just try and solve this matter ok? We're counting on you."

"Okay. I'll try my best."

And with that over, I set off to Silvia's location.

I'm prepared. I need to be prepared. It's hard for me not to be scared of Silvia at this point. Her power is truly overwhelming.

As I ran through the forest, I saw more corpses scattered as far as the eye could see. It's crazy, I never thought there were this many people in the camp.

Finally, after two to three minutes, I reached the destination.

It was a disaster. A foul smell of human blood was overwhelming me, when I saw Silvia covered with blood, having her domination skill still activated.

I couldn't dare get close to her. It was like standing in front of a opponent that is stronger than you and you know you can't reason with them.

"Hey, Silvia, are you okay?"

"Huh?"

"Hey, I'm here. Calm down okay?"

"LeOn. YoU'R hERE. OHHHHH, ThaNkkkkkk GGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDD."

The moment she turned around, I stopped. My legs were frozen.

She... she didn't look anything like the Silvia that I knew. Why didn't the lady mention this?

It was like she was possessed by a monster or some entity. Half of her body was deformed in a very unpleasant way. The other half was her natural self, but not in a good state.

The damage done was not less frightening. I know her limits, and the damage was way beyond it.

"Oh my god Silvia... What the hell happened to you..."

I can't do much in my current state. I'll use appraisal first. After all, to defeat your enemy you need to know them first.

This was the first time I had experienced an error in the system. This "being" was way more stronger than what my max level appraisal skill could handle.

She was in a berserk state but after hearing my voice, she had calmed down a bit. I need to figure out a way to return her to normal. Talking to her seems to be working, so let's try that.

"Silvia listen, the only way I can help you is that you return to normal. So please, return to the kind girl that I know!"

After making that statement, she had completely shut down.

The flesh attached to her left side started to fall down.

Suddenly a sharp object stabbed me through the back, hitting my vital spots.

I screamed and fell headfirst to the floor. The pain was absolutely unbearable. It was like a hot arrow was plunged into my spine.

"LLLLLLEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNN"

Oh, I can hear Silvia's cries. Looks like I'm going to die. But before that, I need to know who did it. I need to find that out.

"Jeez, what a disgusting scene this is."

Out of the trees and the destruction, I could see a couple of people emerging.

"I thought I told you to make it painless."

"I know, sorry Grandpa."

"Ahh, N-no fucking way..."

There they were, Maxwell Sanders and Andrea, along with a couple of others I didn't know.

"Strike her down as well."

"Wait, NNNOOOO"

Silvia got stabbed in the neck and feel on the floor. She made attempts to move and flinched for a few seconds, and then stopped right in front of my eyes.

The blood loss was getting worse to the point that I couldn't speak.

"I'm very sorry, Mr. Walker. Do you see what type of destruction she has caused? We can't have her roaming around freely now that we know how dangerous she is."

"You have been acting suspicious too. Back in the meeting, you were trying to see the leaders stats. You also seem to be a mental support figure to her. So we can't have you alive either. Sorry Leon."

Fuck, I should have stayed with Silvia and looked into the leaders stats without Andrea being present. I won't repeat these mistakes in my next round.

"Hm, chop the boy and the girl up into pieces. We can feed ourselves and the remaining camp."

W-What the fuck? Are they really going to feed me and Silvia's body to people? These fuckers are insane!

One of the people that I didn't know approached me with an axe. And then...

He cut off my left arm.

I put every ounce of energy I had left into screaming. Tears started falling down my eyes as my legs were being cut off.

The whole cutting up process didn't take that long, but for me it was like hours had past.

I was on the verge of passing out, But before that, my point of view changed into darkness.

I see, so my head was chopped off as well. If I was alive, I would have been vomiting all over the place.

There was something wrong, though. I was still conscious.

"Wait, what the hell is happening?"

I couldn't move. But I could clearly see my body parts on the ground. I realized that my head was still left decapitated. There was another thing to take notice of.

Everywhere was black. Even the ground. It was like I was in a void. The only things I saw were my body parts besides my head. Because well, You can't see your head without a reflection.

I wonder if this is what people experience after death?

After a few second of waiting for something to happen, nothing had changed. I started to think about my fate. I knew that I wasn't going to die. I was doubting the loop skill at that point. I don't know why, but I guess death makes us unsure about a lot of things.

And then suddenly, out of the darkness, I could see dark figures appear. The void became foggy, when one of them started to mutter something.

"How dare they..."

"Huh?"

"HOW DARE THEY DO THIS TO YOU"

Why are they screaming? I can't clearly understand what they are trying to say.

Suddenly, one of the figures appeared in front of me and I felt a hand touching my bloody cheek.

"Don't worry. We will always keep you alive... and happy."

"Wait...what are yo-"

Then a large hideous looking mouth appeared in front of me and crushed my head between it's teeth.

After that, I fell unconscious...

The cold breeze was hitting my face.

My vision is so white. The pain is gone too.

Huh? Is someone speaking?
