Meeting the healer

After the matter was all done and delt with, I was instructed to a person who was rumoured to have a very noteworthy healing skill. This was very interesting for me to hear. I knew that in my bitter and immoral mind I only could think of them as an excellent asset to have on my side and be used for the purpose of my survival.

Of course, I was nauseated with myself but what could I do. The moment I was thrown into this hell, for my survival, my brain thinks any fowl ideas it can come up with. That's just human nature. Very disgusting indeed.

All the dark things out of the way, this time the atmosphere seems to be more peaceful. It won't last long, though. After what went down in the previous loop, I was very irritated at the Sanders for killing me and Silvia in that way.

They are most likely my worst enemies as of yet. I really need to know their stats. The only question is how? If she notices and informs everyone, I'll be screwed. At first I thought they wouldn't be that sensitive about it and I could get away with it some how. But in my final moments, I saw how important it was for them to keep their stats hidden.

"Hey boy are you listening?"

"Huh? oh.."

"You were making a pretty hurt expression. Does it really hurt that much?"

"Well, yes. I got stabbed in some of my sensitive areas."

"Heh, hold on for a little longer. We are almost there."

The man who was helping me reach the healer was one of the men I saw who had a hand in killing me in the previous loop. He suddenly approached me and offered me a visit to the healer. Before I departed from the camp, I asked Silvia to keep an eye on him for any suspicious activities. Currently she's tailing us from the trees and bushes on the path.

This special healer everyone is talking about is quit far from the main camp. The man did mention that she needed to be in a faraway place because she attracts monsters. I was really surprised but no one other than her can treat me quickly so yeah. It was suspicious but the pain of my injuries prevented my trait of thought. All I cared about was to get myself treated.

"Here we are."

After a few minutes, we reached the destination. It was a small run down cabin sitting on top of a huge, abnormal tree with light blue leaves that you would never find the like on Earth. There were abnormal plants in the forest, but they were not perceptible on the area we resided in during the first stage. When going to the cabin, I began to see dissimilar types of plants. I could have sworn I even saw some of the plants move. Nothing happened to me or Silvia, so it didn't cause trouble.

There was a latter present leading up to the cabin. It was fragile, so I asked if it could handle our weight.

"Yeah, don't worry. Although it looks like this, its quit sturdy. Do you know how many people have been up here before you?"

Why does this feel like a set-up? never mind. With these injuries, it will be harder to climb up. I might have to ask for help.

"Alright. We're here. I'll head in first. She doesn't trust strangers. I'll call you out when she's ready."

Although I got some sort first aid, I still have some blood loss. Staying out here for too long is not healthy.

"Hah." I sighed.

There are too many things on my mind recently. But one important thing is that I haven't received any information about the second stage yet. It's already been a day_ no, wait. I looped back in time, so it's still evening. I wonder how dangerous the second stage is going to be.

I haven't gained any knew skills yet...

"FUCK"

I screamed as I slammed my hand on one of the walls of the cabin.

An intense pain circulated in my arm, causing me to take hold of it tightly.

"I did loop, but what the fuck did I obtain? Nothing, that's what. I only have two more chances, and that previous death still has me fucking shook." I mumbled to myself.

I at least hoped that I would survive until the second stage was announced, but that hope fell into despair quite deeply.

"My chances are so low… What the hell am I going to do? What can I do? Putting aside my skills, my stats are fucking useless even for a level 6. Why is it like this… why me?"

My mind fell into despair with all my hopes. There was no avoiding the fact that the previous loop was useless. Silvia's madness, Sanders's threat and Paul's mystery. They all suddenly corrupted my mind. I was muddled pretty badly.

"N…No, dad, mom, Luis. I don't think I can save you like this… I'm… sorry…"

Tears began to form under my eyes and my nose was tensing up. To sum it all up, I had reached a breaking point.

But then…

"Ow, what the_"

A small but hard object impacted my skull.

"Wh_what the…"

I looked at the direction the object was thrown from. And I saw…

"Silvia?!" I mumbled.

She was completely invisible, her head being an exception. It was poking from one of the big tree roots. Her deep blue eyes where staring me right in the eye.

"She's… crying."

I knew why she was crying. For my sake, obviously. Her expression really struck me in the chest. Literally made me come back to reality.

Her lips started moving.

I couldn't hear her. No, she's not making any sound in the first place. Only her lips were moving.

Tongue language, huh?

"You…can…do…it?"

"I be…lieve in…you."

"Ha, damn it."

It seems that I forgot something really important. I'm not alone in this. I have her. And she has immense strength in all areas.

"..."

Calm down, stop crying. You're making yourself look bad. That man might come out any second.

I wipe my tears.

Nothing major is going to occur as of yet. The meeting will begin after an hour or so and no one followed us here as I had Silvia as a watcher. For now, let me get healed and I'll think about what to do later.

I waited on that spot for about ten more minutes before the man came out.

"What took you so long? does she really have that much of a hard time interacting with new people?"

"Yeah, sorry. That's just how it is with her."

"..."

"Well, let's go in shall we?"

He opened the door but as I wanted to head inside,

"Oh, forgot something."

He closed the door.

"What is it? please hurry up I'm in a lot of pain over here!"

"Just know your manners with her, ok? she's really strict about how the person she's reacting with behaves."

"Alright I'll keep that in mind. Can I go in now?"

"Yeah."

He opened the door again and we entered.

"What the hell..."

It was like nothing I had seen before. The first thing to take note of was that from the outside, the cabin looked really small but when we went in, it was like I had stumbled upon a large mansion.

The insides were decorated marvelously. The walls where painted in gold and white and the floor was constructed with hard ceramic. From my standing, it seemed to have a total of three floors. The inside was round shaped and there were multiple stairs in the middle of each floor, ascending to the other. On the circular corners, there were quantities of multiple research materials and other objects I couldn't come to understand.

"Wow..."

"Yeah, I know right?"

"So where is she?"

"Right there." He said pointing to the second floor.

We took one of many pairs of stairs up to the second floor. I was really exhausted after that.

"No wonder it took you so long..."

"This was not the real reason though."

"So you did have a hard time convincing her?"

"Well, you could say that."

Huh? what does he mean by that?

We reached a chair and a desk among all the confusing objects and saw her sitting there.

"Excuse me, Miss.Amberhide. He is at your presence."

She turns around.

"Wait, you are..."

Huh?
