She smiled. "Then you can start with that Janus," she said, "Maybe he has the information you've been trying to solve out," she added.
I stared at her. She's right, and she has a point. Even though Stacey failed to dig in more information, she left me a name.
Janus!
There's already a plan in my mind, and I will execute it tonight.
This bastard hummed while taking a bath? Go on, hum all you want like there's no tomorrow. Anyway, you're going to be sentenced to death tonight.
I was sitting down and waiting for him to come out of the shower room. I lost count already on how many times my fangs elongated. I've always been like this when I'm anxious or excited. Even my wolf spirit couldn't wait any longer to kill this bastard, but I decided to stay still and wait for him to come out. I have to wait for him patiently.
Too bad for him. He'll be dispatched to hell later.
A moment passed, and he finally came out with only a towel covering his lower body.
"Holy cow, lady! Who are you?" he exclaimed in shock. I can also see the vigilance in his face that soon changes into amusement.
"Does it matter to you who I am?" I asked while playing with the pencil on top of the table.
"Fucking lady, you're freaking me out!" he spat, but some lust followed the amusement in his eyes.
"Am I?" I said softly, not forgetting to use the sweetest voice I have.
"Yeah. By the way, who sent you here?" he chimed.
Curiosity kicked, huh! Bastard!
"No one, you just caught my attention, and voila, I'm here. Surprise!!" I exclaimed and stood up. I crossed my arms and licked my lips.
"Are you a stalker or something?"
"Maybe," I answered.
He smirked.
"Am I that attractive to you, hm?" he questioned.
By the looks of it, he was flirting with me.
Gorgeous, my ass!!
"Yes, darling," I replied and approached him, showing my glowing eyes. I can feel my wolf getting excited.
She wanted to kill this man right now!!
I saw his eyes widen, but he immediately tried to run towards the door, but unfortunately, I was already there before he could reach it. His eyes which were full of lust, were now brimming with fear.
"So this bastard still remembers our eyes," Claw said, my wolf.
"Of course, how can he forget it," I retorted.
"Reap his head off! He must die! Let him feel the pain and crush him into pieces or let me do it for you, Raven," Claw said excitedly.
"You'll have your time, but let me first do my business."
"Alright, I'll wait. He's my prey, after all."
"Based on the fear I see in your eyes, I know you remember me," I said with a smile.
"How—" I interrupted him.
"How did I survive? That's simple; I live to avenge my parents' death. And mind you, you are my very first victim. How's that sound? Scared?"
I saw him swallow hard many times.
"You should have died that night, lady. Even if he failed in doing it, he would do it now the moment he sees you again."
I can smell his fear, but this scared puppy still has his pride as a man.
"Not if I'm the one who sees him first. Now, would you do me a favor and answer my questions? I want his name and location. If you tell me, I can spare your life and let you fuck every woman you want and enjoy your life."
A sound escaped from his mouth.
Did he laugh? Did he laugh?
I'm beginning to lose control and want to kill him.
"Patience! Patience, my dear. That job is mine!" Claws reminded me.
"You believe that I will bite that, baby girl? I won't give my master's name, and even if I will, I'm sure that you are dead as a bird rotting in the desert before you go near him. If you want to kill me now, I'll be willing to offer my head to you," he spat sarcastically.
"Give me his name, and I will kill you," I seethed. I'm now really getting impatient.
He laughed so hard that it angered me and made my blood boil.
"I will give you nothing!" he spat.
In an instant, I snapped. Claw took charge, and she happily chewed this loser's head and body.
"We should learn how to lengthen our patience, Claw," I said while driving back to the packhouse. I saw her sitting contentedly and satisfied with what she was doing.
Claw was short-tempered, rude, and sometimes she's heartless. I can't blame her, though. The day she was betrayed by our mate, who was paired for us, she swore that she would kill him that day. But something I have been doubting since the beginning. Claw was something else, something I can't explain.
That piece of shit! How dare he not give me the name I wanted! Did he choose death over his master?
I propped my free hand to the window of my car and bit the tip of my finger.
Choosing loyalty over his life is the most idiotic way of thinking I've ever encountered. He's so stupid and rubbish for not valuing his worthless life.
Pathetic!
Whoever is the person behind this, maybe he's a highly respected leader of their group that they have no right to mention even his name.
'Alpha!'
I heard my Beta calling me through our mind link.
"What is it, Kaydon?" I asked.
"Sphere's mate was found dead," he informed politely.
My eyes turned vicious upon hearing that. "What?! How? Tell me the exact incident when I arrive. I'm on my way," I said and stepped on the accelerator.
I almost let my car fly on my way back to the packhouse. When I arrived, I immediately went to the training ground, where I saw my four strongest warriors trying to stop Sphere, who was on the verge of losing his rationality because of rage.
