MUP: Chapter 112. The Abomination

"Hulk! Where are you?!"

In the chaotic streets, a huge figure was looking up at a helicopter hovering in the sky. It shouted and roared.

The figure looked like a Hulk, but it looked even uglier, with a row of sharp bone spurs on its back, wreaking havoc on everything in the street.

It raised its hand and threw a car into the air. The figure let out an ominous laugh, "Hulk, you're pathetic! You have such great power, but you choose to hide like a little mouse ... Give me a real fight!"

"One of yours? Is this what you wanted?!" On the helicopter, Banner, who took the initiative to surrender himself, saw the scene and asked General Ross in anger.

"..."

Faced with Banner's scorn, General Ross fell silent for a moment.

He recognised the other party from his voice, Emil Blonsky, a member of the assault squad who had been badly wounded in the previous attack and whom he himself had injected with the "Super Soldier serum", not realising that the other party would turn into such a terrible monster.

The confrontation between several people on the helicopter obviously couldn't affect Emil, who was below and still in the form of the Abomination.

The fusion of the Super Soldier serum mixed with the Hulk serum apparently caused some unknown change in his body, allowing him to have Hulk-like powers while still maintaining a clear mind.

With a wave of his hand, Abomination kept picking off the fleeing crowd around him, letting out a maniacal laugh as he watched them struggle helplessly.

Obviously, the serum didn't only give Emil extraordinary strength; it also changed his character to some extent, making him ferocious and violent.

On the other side of the street, the special units led by General Ross, having witnessed Abomination's horrific and murderous actions, launched an attack with a loud roar.

The dense bullets roared out and rained down on the Abomination.

The sound of heavy machine guns continued to resonate through the chaotic streets, yet the bullets bounced off Abomination's body with no exception.

Then, a soldier carrying a rocket launcher was seen aiming at Abomination, who wasn't too far away. He pulled the trigger hard, and a rocket was fired at the Abomination.

The Abomination saw that and, without dodging, grabbed the incoming rocket and let it explode in his hand, creating a violent shockwave of flame that couldn't harm him in the slightest. Then there was an obvious sneer on his ferocious face. In the next moment, his huge body shot out like a cannonball. Within a split second, he had already rushed to the Humvee, where the soldier was. His big hand swatted the car like a fly, casually flattening it into a pile of scrap metal.

"Damn it!"

On the helicopter, General Ross cursed with a grim look as he watched the soldiers under his command continue to deplete, unable to maintain his composure.

"Tell the soldiers to retreat, this isn't something we can solve."

However, in this chaotic situation, the order conveyed by General Ross had been delayed to some extent.

On the street, the soldiers saw that seeing the Abomination killing their fellow soldiers and continuously pulled their triggers, fueled by panic and anger. They kept firing at the huge monster in front of them!

At the same time, more than a dozen snipers occupied the high ground and launched an assault on the Abomination, using bullets that were highly penetrating and could easily penetrate an armoured vehicle!

Just then, on the helicopter, General Ross suddenly received a report from his subordinates.

However, before he could give any instruction, he saw a red figure flying from a distance. In the next moment, a white shock wave appeared, knocking the Abomination away.

"Tony Stark?"

Standing up from the rubble, Tony's blast apparently didn't do much damage to Abomination. He looked at Iron man, who was hovering in mid-air, then grabbed the wreckage of a car at hand and threw it at him.

Tony dodge sideways to avoid the whizzing wreckage. However, before Tony could breathe a sigh of relief, there was a warning from Jarvis in his ear, "Sir, watch out."

"Wha... ?!"

Within Mark 4, Tony only had time to ask half a question.

In the next second, a huge force struck him, followed by him flying backwards faster than he had arrived. He ended up embedded in a car on the side of the street while still in his armour.

"Jarvis."

"Yes, Sir."

"Remind me to work on your reaction speed."

"I already have a scientific calculation system for the advance warning, Sir. Not a magical one for that kind of speed."

After a few words of banter with Jarvis, Tony stood up and looked at Abomination, a short distance away. The expression on his face turned stern, "Looks like it's time to get serious."

As Tony's voice dropped, an armoured missile raised from the shoulders and arms of his armour and was fired directly at the Abomination. The Mark 4, a new armour Tony had created after his battle with the Iron Monger, had some upgraded weaponry.

However, it was obvious that even the firepower of his new armour was somewhat too weak to do damage to the Abomination's body.

Faced with the incoming missile, Abomination didn't dodge but rushed forward towards Tony, swinging his huge palm and smashing Iron Man into the ground.

The armour scraped across the ground with a shower of sparks.

Inside Mark 4, Tony's expression wasn't too pleasant either. The modified armour had a degree of shock absorption, but it was clear that the force coming from Abomination's hands was beyond his initial designed limitations.

As far as people could see, Iron Man was powerless against Abomination's powerful attack.

Bang --

On the other side, along with a loud bang, a huge figure fell from the sky and hit the ground heavily. It smashed a deep crater in the surface of the street.
