Chapter 319. Battle (Part2)

A huge ball of flame slammed Doctor Doom, followed by Johnny, who had transformed into the Human Torch and landed in front of him.

"Hey, you're back, big guy."

Turning his head to look at Ben, Johnny exclaimed in surprise.

"To be honest, after seeing you in this form for so long, seeing your human form feels a bit strange."

"Johnny!"

Upon hearing this, Sue quickly spoke up, afraid that his words would once again anger Ben.

"You think you four can beat me?"

Doctor Doom looked down at the torn clothes on his body. Johnny's flames burned Doctor Doom's clothes but couldn't harm his body which had turned into metal. Looking up at the Fantastic Four once again gathered together, he raised his hands and let out a low growl. In the next second, violent lightning began to gather around him.

"Sue!"

Seeing Doctor Doom's reaction, Reed quickly shouted to Sue.

Without hesitation, Susan raised her arm and created an invisible barrier that enveloped Doctor Doom.

However, it didn't last long before the invisible shield was broken by the lightning on Doctor Doom's body.

"No, the energy in the lightning is too violent. My force field can't isolate it."

Sue frowned and spoke to Reed with a serious expression.

"I already told you, you guys can't beat me at all."

Doctor Doom fired a lightning bolt that sent Johnny flying, shouting loudly, "Your struggle is futile."

As he spoke, Doctor Doom stepped forward, approaching the Fantastic Four step by step.

Facing the approaching Doctor Doom, Ben blinked and charged forward, but his body couldn't get close due to the violent lightning. One lightning bolt sent him flying away.

Doctor Doom's display of strength left the Fantastic Four feeling hopeless. Sue raised her hand and created an invisible shield to block the lightning that flew from his hand while turning her head and shouting to Reed behind her...

"Reed, get out of here quickly. I can't hold on much longer."

"No, he must have a weakness."

Looking at Sue struggling in front of him, Reed furrowed his brow. He looked at Doctor Doom, who appeared relaxed and gritted his teeth, twisting his body like a spring as he leaped towards Doctor Doom. Compressing his body mid-air, Reed expanded himself into a huge rubber net that wrapped around Doctor Doom.

"Ben now's your chance!"

Reed shouted, turning his head to look at Ben, who had gotten back on his feet.

"Watch this!"

Ben replied without hesitation and charged towards the two.

Boom--

With a loud thud, Ben's massive body collided with the rubber net, causing Doctor Doom, who was trapped inside, to be knocked heavily onto the ground like a nail being hammered in.

"That must have hurt."

Johnny gasped, imagining what it would feel like to be on the receiving end of Ben's attack.

Reed shifted his body, reverting the rubber net back to his human form, revealing Doctor Doom with only his head remaining on the ground. Thankfully, Reed's body had become like rubber, enabling it to absorb the impact of Ben's attack. Otherwise, Ben's attack would have had far more serious consequences than just hitting Doctor Doom.

"So, we've won?"

Johnny asked, standing up with Sue's help, he turned to the three behind him and asked.

"Didn't we?"

Rubbing his chest, Reed looked at the motionless Doctor Doom, sounding unsure as he said, "Victor seems to have..."

"Johnny, watch out!"

But before Reed could finish his sentence, Sue, who was next to him, suddenly changed her expression and instinctively raised her hands to create an invisible force field in front of Johnny, who was almost defenseless.

In the next moment, a dazzling lightning burst out of Doctor Doom's body, instantly shattering the invisible shield Sue made.

"Too bad, so close."

Seeing Johnny being saved by Sue, Doctor Doom shook his head, expressing a hint of regret in his tone. Then, surrounded by strong lightning, the ground around him began to melt under the intense heat of the electrical current. Doctor Doom broke free from it.
