"You finally awake?" Ellia heard someone say as she slowly opened her eyelids and sat upright against a stone wall.
Upon listing closer, the voice sounded much like Ruth's. But it couldn't be her. After all, her voice would be directly going to her head , but now she could hear the voice right in front of her.
"Surprised, right?" It was definitely Ruth.
"Surprised? I'm..." Ellia tried to find the right word be she couldn't. All she could do was stare at the young lady in front of her.
Soft and long silky red hair slightly coved a pair of red eyes that stared back at Ellia with excitement. The appearance of Ruth reminded Ellia of Ava when she was little. And the clothes she wore made her look like an angel that descended from the heavens.
A long white renzo dress cut evenly on the sides from the waist down. It truly fitted Ruth's looks.
"Interesting..." Ellia rubbed her chin while examining Ruth from head to toe. "I thought it was going to some snot-nosed brat, but it looks like I'm partially right."
"Hey! Who are you calling a brat?!" Ruth shouted, lowering her lips in a pout.
"Well, I only thought... you definitely are a pretty young girl."
Despite Ellia's nice words, Ruth's face remained the same, pouting in displeasure.
It was then Ruth made a move, startling Ellia. Ruth lifted her legs towards and over Ellia's thighs until she sat on her hips like a little kid on an electric pony.
"R-ruth...?" Ellia muttered uncomfortably.
Ruth sat there for a good second with her hands on Ellia's shoulders.
All of a sudden, a change started to occur in Ruth's appearance. Her small body began to grow longer and thicker along with her dress. Her bust size also started to double in size, causing Ellia to tilt her head backward. Her childish appearance was no longer present; instead, it was replaced with a fully grown, mature woman.
"Are you still going to call me a little girl?" Ruth shouted as she moved her hands from her shoulders to the back of Ellia's head.
"Ruth! What are you doing?!" Ellia yelled; her pale white cheeks were slightly red while glancing at Ruth's new bust size.
"Answer me!" Ruth then pulled her hands towards her breasts along with Ellia's head.
"Ahhh...!" Ellia groaned with a look of fright. She tried her best to pull away, but it seemed her strength had disappeared without a single trace. 'Is it just me, or is Ruth really strong...!'
"Alright! You're not a young girl!" Ellia shouted as she gasped for air. While doing so, she unintentionally locked her gaze with Ruth.
Staring down from above, Ruth flashed a silly smile. "You know, now that I look at you like this, you look cute, Ian."
"Then I would you say you look beautiful from here." Ellia sighed as she pushed Ruth away.
Hearing Ellia talk like that, Ruth suddenly felt blood rushing towards her head, but she quickly calmed herself.
"A-aren't you married?" Ruth asked with a stutter.
"So? What's wrong with calling a beautiful woman beautiful? Ellia asked with a nonchalant expression.
As Ruth watched Ellia speak those words with such a straight face, she felt something in her chest.
Yes, as an A.I she is allowed to feel emotion but never as strong as this. And because of that, all Ruth felt was puzzlement towards such feelings.
"But that being said, where are we?" Ellia asked as she grabbed Ruth by the shoulders and moved her off to the side. Then standing up, she looked left and right.
It seemed they were in an alleyway between two stone apartments. Giant trash bins were evenly spread throughout the alleyway, giving the place a dirty vibe.
The puddles scattered across the uneven concrete ground signaled rainfall that happened not too long ago.
Staring at the puddles, which reflected colorful neon lights, Ellia turned her head towards the end of the alleyway.
There she saw tons of people bustling in the streets, making way for themselves through the packed crowd.
"Ruth?" Ellia said, looking back down because of the lack of response.
"Ahhh..." Ruth mumbled as she woke from her deep thought. "Where in the lower sprawl, sector 6."
Then, getting up from the wet concrete, Ruth patted down her lap and bottom. "We could be in the higher flowers, but what we were looking for is down here," Ruth explained.
Walking side by side, both walked towards the exit of the alleyway.
"You're going to stay like that?" Ellia asked as she stole a glance at Ruth's perky breasts.
"Yes, you did say you liked me better like this," Ruth responded with a smile.
"I didn't say that, though..." Ellia quietly mumbled.
"But how do you like the new outfit?" Ruth asked, changing the topic while looking at Ellia's new outfit.
'A high-class and high-quality set of clothing.' One would think if they saw Ellia.
A black baggy tech pants with several neon red outlines and a grey tech windbreaker that coved everything except for Ellia's front side, which exposed her dark red sports bra.
The only skin she was showing was her collar bone and belly.
Tilting her head down, Ellia examined her clothes. "I like it..." She said after finding out it didn't expose too much skin.
"Right?" Ruth said with a proud smile. "I got the best ones for you!"
"Thanks..." Ellia expressed, but soon her attention was quickly drawn to something else.
The view in front of her was astounding. The sight was very much like the Empire, but everything here was more practical. However, there weren't things like aircrafts. But technology here seemed to be used regularly. Heck, it seemed as if they wouldn't be able to survive without technology.
"The cyberpunk vibe is crazy..." Ellia mumbled, then moving her eyes upward, she stared at the countless neon billboards and ads that lit up the dark midnight sky.
Then looking back down, she watched the enormous amounts of people. It reminded Ellia of resistance soldiers; they dressed in the same dark and raggedy clothes.
Moving a bit closer, the smell of wet concrete, mixed with the scent of a pungent stench of sweat, tingled Ellia's nose. The people here were the literal definition of low-life high tech.
If they were to step out onto the crowd now, she would be sticking out like a sore thumb, not to mention Ruth.
But despite that, Ruth grabbed Ellia's hand and joined the crowd.
'Wait, we're we going?' Ellia asked, shouting in her mind
"Towards the subway!" Ruth asked back.
Ellia sighed as she gripped harder onto Ruth's hand so they wouldn't end up losing each other.
Shouldering her way through the crowd, Ellia started to hear whispers that seemed to be talking about her and Ruth.
"Hey, you see those two? Don't you think they're hot?" A man said to his friend.
"How much do you think they have on them?" Another spoke with a crooked smile. "Just selling that windbreaker would make a fortune."
"You see the red hair with the huge racks? You think she's from the higher sectors?"
"You think they're imperialists?" Someone said with despise in their voice. "Especially the brunette haired one."
Despite the overwhelming whispers, one glare from Ellia was enough to make them avert their gazes. Seeing this, Ruth softly giggled.
A few moments later, they arrived at a vestibule with stairs leading down to the subway tracks.
