"Then what do we need?" Ellia inquired, quite desperate to get an answer.
"You would have to be at least a six-star mage to learn aged spatial storage. Then to learn the aged spatial storage, which is kept inside the imperial library, only assessable to the royal family." Ruth spoke as if she was giving one long list of items. "Hydrogen and helium eight times as the amount the sun possesses."
"Where are we going to get that much...?"
"It is impossible to get that much hydrogen and helium from this solar system." Ruth dropped the bombshell news on Ellia with an air of casual indifference, "The only place that has that much hydrogen and helium are giant molecular clouds, with the closest one to Earth being 1567 light-years away."
"Then I really guess it is impossible." Ellia let out a weary sigh as she shook her head slowly and solemnly. "Why would you even bring it up?"
"No, I never said making it would be impossible, though it would take a long time." Ruth denied. "We can simply create a warp drive engine capable of sending a spaceship through space faster than the speed of light."
Ellia turned her head sharply and fixed her gaze on Ruth with a look of surprise yet again.
"Though if we create the warp drive engine, then there would be no need to travel to a giant molecular cloud since we can simply travel to a neutron star."
"Are you saying our goal is a neutron star?"
"How else should we make a neutron energy core without a neutron star?" Ruth questioned. "And making a warp drive engine would only take two years."
"Can we start?" Ellia asked, quite hopeful.
"No, we can't since we don't have the money to buy any more materials for the warp drive engine." Ruth shook her head.
"Haaaa…" Ellia let out a long sigh. "Alright, if you have nothing else, then I'm heading back. I can't have the guys do anything weird to May and Aerie while they're drunk."
"Oh… I figured." Ruth spoke, dejected.
"Oh, talking about drunkness, I thought I was drunk till a while ago."
"Eh, must I explain this too?" Ruth raised an eyebrow with a look of disappointment.
Ellia was quite taken aback by Ruth's reaction. "Just because you had an upgrade doesn't make me dumb." Ellia retorted.
"I was just kidding," Ruth smirked.
"Alright, just tell me what you need to tell me." Ellia rolled her eyes.
"Understood." Ruth nodded, unable to go against Ellia's order.
"The skill 'God's longevity' can also purify any toxin, alcohol, and poison inside your body. And that's not all." Ruth continued to talk without stopping." "Sleep is now irrelevant since, with nanotechnology, fatigue is also irrelevant, though you may sleep if you choose to do so."
"Isn't that overpowered?" Ellia thought while rubbing her chin. Suddenly, a vivid recollection flooded her mind - memories of grueling training from her past life. She could almost feel the burn of exhaustion and strain in her muscles as she recalled the relentless demands of the sleep deprivation regimen. The days had stretched into endless nights, leaving her body and mind in a state of perpetual motion.
"In a way, yes, but there is no such thing as overpowered in war."
"Yea, but not until people start thinking it's inhumane, and then it becomes banned from war," Ellia said. "But I doubt that it would happen to this."
"Uh-huh."
"So what I'm I going to do with all of these nanobots?" Ellia asked as her eyes roamed the room, taking in the sight of swarming black nanobots that seemed to blanket every surface like a swarm of the dark.
In a sudden burst of motion, Ruth's form fragmented into a seething cloud of swarming nanobots. Like a dark tornado, the swarm hurtled towards Ellia, enveloping her in a chaotic whirlwind. As the cloud of nanobots surged into her body, Ellia felt a strange sensation. Within moments, the swarm had taken shelter inside her clothing while the rest seeped into her bloodstream.
"Alright, let's go," Ellia spoke as she left her private living quarters and headed directly toward the dormitory.
As she crossed the threshold into the dormitory, Ellia's heart hammered in her chest with a mix of anxiety and relief. Her eyes scanned the room like a hawk, searching for any sign of trouble or danger. To her immense relief, the slumbering forms of the girls lay scattered across the kitchen table and floor, their bodies as still and silent as statues. Ellia let out a sigh of relief.
On the contrary, everyone was still out cold on the kitchen table.
Ellia moved and closed the distance between her and Owen. She then reached out and snatched the wine bottle from his hand, the glass cool and smooth against her skin as she lifted it up to eye level. The rich red liquid inside still sloshed around three-fourths of the way up.
Ellia glided over to a nearby chair and sank down into it. Then with a fluid motion, she crossed her right leg over her left, like a cat coiling up for a nap. She reached out and plucked a wine glass from the table, the crystal catching the light in a dazzling display of color and shine. As she tilted the bottle to pour herself a measure of the ruby red liquid, the wine flowed like a glistening river into the glass, the heady aroma filling her senses with a heady mix of floral and fruity notes that made her mouth water.
With a gentle swirl, she stirred the wine, watching as the liquid swirled and eddied in the glass like a miniature vortex of color and motion. Savoring the moment, she lifted the glass to her lips and took a slow, deep sip, feeling the wine's rich flavor dance across her tongue.
With the assistance of Ruth's nanobots, Ellia could thoroughly enjoy the full sensation of this red wine without any restrictions. Only feeling a sight-tingling sensation when the wine sloshed inside her mouth.
"When was the last time I drank something this good..." As Ellia took another sip from her drink, she let out a deep sigh, her eyes drifting upwards towards the ceiling as if lost in a dream-like state. "I want to sleep..."
"Understood." Replied Ruth
