"Ah...!" Alice let out a piercing scream, and suddenly her eyes flew open as though she had just awoken from a deep slumber. As she looked around, she found herself back in the locker room, disoriented and bewildered.


"If you're confused about what happened, it's because someone shot you from behind," Kai spoke. "I watched everything happen. Just who is that girl?"


As Alice's eyes locked onto Kai, a fire burned within her, causing her features to twist into an expression of pure rage. In a flash, she leaped forward, her hand darting out to grab the collar of Kai's shirt, sending a jolt of surprise through him.


"You bastard! I told you to move, but why were you standing there like an idiot?! Is this going to happen when we're in real battle?!" Alice screamed. "You left me behind in an instant!"


"Clam down..." a stepped up to Kai's side and gently placed her hand on Alice's quivering fist as if trying to soothe a raging fire within. "It wasn't even real."
