“Lev, I really need to go,” I restrained myself from rolling my eyes at him as Levi held onto me like a child not wanting their parents to leave. In any other situation I would’ve found the action amusing, but with the circumstances on which I was returning to the castle, this was getting annoying.


“No!” Levi whined, “You’ve only been here for four days! Stay a bit more!” I sighed and turned to him, getting his hands off of me. It was normal whenever I had to return anywhere that Levi didn’t want me to leave once we had our fun together. However, as we got older these childish bouts began to annoy me more and more. As much as I adored Levi’s company, one of the better ways we had remained friends was by having our times apart rather than being smothered in each other’s company.
