Chapter 24 - Natasha

From now on, I'll do narrative POV since it's a lot easier than 1st and gives other characters inner thoughts.

It was Christmas day, Enzo had taken the virginity of those who had been the longest with him. The young man felt proud at what he had accomplished, feeling more ambitious than before. Though, they are still things that he needed to do but that could wait for the future. 

His objective now is making each of his women a lot stronger and recruit people who are willing to join his adventure. Right now, he was playing with his children making a snowman. Scarlet then proceeds to throw a snowball at their faces.

"Hahaha!"

Scarlet laughed seeing their faces covered in snow but soon stopped when she realized the two were going to gang up on her. Enzo obviously could easily dodge it but decided not to since they were just playing. 

Though, Nova is not her father and can't be negated by those who have the same power as her which happens to be her elder sister. 

"You can't hit me~!"

Scarlet dodges the barrage of snowballs while smirking at the two but Nova manages to hit her face causing scarlet to fall perfectly at the people who arrive. Enzo smiled upon seeing Illyana and Colossus as he greeted them. 

One by one everyone arrived at the party and Enzo welcomed everyone. We had some drinks and a party that night while the children played outside without worrying too much.  

At the balcony of Enzo's mansion was Natasha alone looking in the night sky. Seeing this, Enzo approached her, gaining Natasha's attention.

"Why are you here so alone?"

"Just wanted to get some fresh air."

Natasha said while the young man sat on the balcony handing a wine which she happily accepted and quickly took a sip. 

"Better?"

"Yes…I…I just started to feel doubt in myself…would I ever be a great mother? My hands had been-"

Enzo stopped her by placing his finger to her lips stopping the blackwidow from talking and showed her a kind smile. 

"Natasha, that is not you anymore. Whoever you are, the past does not define the present. We all make mistakes more than others but that doesn't mean you should burden yourself with it. The one who molded you into a killer is the one responsible."

"Still…"

"You're not a tool anymore, you're my woman now and my woman is proud and strong. You are too concerned with what was and what will be. There is a saying: Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why we call it The Present"

Enzo inwardly cringed as he said those words since he stole it from Kung Fu panda but it is perfect at this moment. He leaned closer to her lifting Natasha's chin as her emotion flooded with a mixture of love and lust while her heart pounding was loud enough that she could hear it. 

Enzo understood her feelings since he was the same. He had a choice to save people with his immense and near Omnipotent power but refused and let things take its course. Enzo did not like taking their complete free will and bare the countless souls screamed and begging for his help. 

However when there is suffering and guilt there is rejoicing and innocence. Enzo was always enlightened by everything he saw, like reading a story book. People who overcame the trials are always rewarded and felt accomplished. 

Natasha felt her guilt slowly washing away, forgetting about her past and focusing more on the future with the man before her. He was the only one who saw her as a woman and not a tool. Their lips grow closer to each other.

However their moment was ruined when Tony arrived to check up on him only to find that he was getting it on with another woman.

Enzo yelled out while Tony just smirked at him and said.

"Well that ruins the mood…"

Few weeks after Christmas, Enzo had decided to start his business in getting stronger and test his Astral Regulator in absorbing power. It was rather difficult to understand the structure of the artifact as the materials were far too complex and out of this world. 

He theorizes that rather than constructed with materials it is formed from the idea itself that has taken shape. Enzo knew that the very first cosmos of the universe was just a singular being until the celestial and aspirant with the first firmament went to war that caused a ripple forming the multiverse.  

Enzo believes that The One Above All Created from another plane of existence to help the multiverse. There must be a reason why he still let marvel exist when he can just let it be for its destruction. 

He hypothesized that the destruction of the marvel multiverse could lead to his destruction as well. Enzo only thought of one conclusion that the multiverse is nothing more than innerworld of the One Above All and its destruction shall lead to its demise. 

"Things are getting quite complicated huh? Whatever, I still need to find a way to make Natasha stronger."

Enzo went outside his pocket dimension and tried to find Natasha who was playing with the children. He smiled and approached her giving the blackwidow a kiss. 

"No work?"

"I quit, SHIELD and decided to join you. It took some time to convince but I managed."

"You used my blackmail materials, didn't you?"

Her smile grew wider and confirmed his question. He had numerous pieces of information that SHIELD won't even hope to cover up once it's leaked and the damage of hydra infiltrating them already ruined their name. 

Therefore, it would be difficult to save their name from the public eye if Natasha uses the information against them then it plummets their ability to operate and causes them to shut down. 

"Hahaha I could only imagine that one eye demon expression!"

His laughter echoing throughout the place since he can change their personalities if he wanted but doesn't and only spy on them since frankly he hates most of those in the SHIELD. Not to mention, Enzo finds pleasure in messing with Fury and their directors. 

"Anyway, perfect time that you're here. I told you that I was going to give you some power."

Unlike the girls, I can't just give them power left and right since they don't have my powers to keep up with their own power. Most people have containers and adding more would cause their body to overflow or even reject the power which is why the girls remain in improving their power instead.  

"Are you sure about that?"

"In my workshop since it's a lot easier there and we can test your power once there. "

She nodded at him while turning his attention towards his daughters who were playing with Illyana and then to his youngest daughter, Asteria. 

"Asteria, make sure the two stay out of trouble."

"No need to worry father, though I must ask for more books to read. The materials start to bore me."

Leaving with a nod, the two went to his workshop inside his home below the underground since the pocket dimension facility is for those that are extremely dangerous. If he made a mistake at least it will only result in the pocket dimension collapsing. 

Arriving to numerous tubes that had creatures being experimented on. There mostly organic materials that Enzo replicated from the parasite spread across the universe. 

"Should I be naked for this?"

"If you want to give me a show then go for it."

"This might be perfect for you since you're an expert assassin."

Touching her skin soon felt a foreign substance growing inside her spreading through everything and rewriting her Biology at an extremely rapid pace. She already had experience with this kind of thing when she was given a knock off of the super soldier serum that boosted her power. 

This reminded of Captain America and might give the chance to dance with Peggy when he finds the Time Stone. He's someone that Enzo felt inspired to protect people. Though, Enzo is no boy scout and may act accordingly in things if necessary. 

"How do you feel? I did send information into your mind on what your power is."

Natasha held out her hands producing dark smokes that slowly molded into a solid knife then cloaked her and tried to slice her body only for it to pass through. 

"How do you feel?."

Enzo was worried even after testing numerous times on prisoners within the dark Eldar. Natasha looked at her body checking if there was anything wrong and shook her head.

"There's nothing beside feeling vigorous and strange sense that I can't explain."

He nodded since it would take some time for her to get used to her new powers. She doesn't have rapid evolution like Enzo and even if she does wouldn't keep up. It was ideal to remain as simple as possible. 

This isn't a jack of all trades master of none but often better than a master of one scenario as there would be dire consequences if Enzo gave too much power.

When bestowing power it would Include the soul itself which is why most augmentation would fail without proper development and compatibility. Enzo may be powerful but people around him are fragile, even the universe and its entirety may collapse if he made a mistake in overusing his power. 

He understood it when acquiring the mind stone where the Universe has only so much within its 4th dimensional plane before collapsing. Enzo also learned that if he were to go to another multiverse then he would start at the beginning with limited power. 

Marvel is like his playground while their universe would be the real challenge. Regardless, he aims to make him strong enough to not be a burden while strengthening his allies. 

"Your power is anything that is the concept of Nothingness, Shadow, intangibility, absolute erase presence, etc. We can train your abilities if you want?"

 "I'd like that."

He smiled, taking the two of them to his training grounds where it was like a hyperbolic time chamber but instead of white room, it was a mountainous side where small houses overlook below and where time flows differently. 

"Where is this place?"

"A dimension I created, this place has a different flow than the outside and would be perfect for you to master or at least grasp your power. A day outside is a year inside."

Enzo never increased its time because a pocket dimension has a limit in time it could retain before collapsing. Not to mention, it is unhealthy to remain inside for a long time doing nothing but train. 

Natasha was taken aback from his explanation looking at the sight before and thought went to her mind.

"So we're alone for a year?"

She smiled as Enzo did since it meant that they could be intimate and strengthen their bond even further. Though, bonds strengthen when trial is presented but still this would give compensation when their time together is limited outside.  

"Indeed, well shall we begin your training?"

Natasha nodded since she was extremely talented and a genius ensuring that her power would be nothing compared to her previous training. For that time, she had focused on controlling and molding the shadow, turning them into simple clones similar to how Aero uses her wind manipulation. 

She can be intangible since her whole body was a misty shadow where only spatial weapons could cut her which means conventional won't harm her. Natasha can mold them into helps and travel through shadow teleporting anywhere there is a shadow that she had locked on. 

Natasha can place markers in people's shadow and teleport into their shadow. She even makes creatures where her senses are shared but unlike Enzo, she needs to concentrate. It is basically a shadow monarch but her True power is Nothingness. 

Enzo had this power for a long time and hadn't mastered it because of how complex the concept is. Where the User can create, shape and manipulate nothingness, the absence of entities or substance; with this they can remove energy and matter from existence, by simply making things disappear, preventing energy from ever being conceived or via various other means. 

Enzo even believes if mastered completely she can control the essence of Nothingness, allowing them to delete an eternity, removing targets from all timelines in every dimension, alter, reverse, or negate energy; etc.

This could also lead to an ultimate goal of "destroying matter and energy" as in bringing it out of existence. Unlike destruction, Nothingness is…Nothing. She became the End of all things. 

Even Enzo feared that at this Natasha rate could erase him. Not that she would but still, he had realized that despite his power there are rules that still bind him like altering his past which he needed to severe now that he knows but still doesn't find a way how.

In the end, Enzo benefited from training her. The two fought where Natasha danced through the shadow and erased the tendrils coming her way while Enzo used his spear to deflect her baton. She easily erased my weapon to create an opening. 

'Damn she's nullifying my chances to win.'

Natasha held her weapon against this neck where Enzo gave up since she's too good at erasing the probability that it would block him in touching her. 

Though she still needed to be careful when using her Nothingness since she could accidentally erase someone. Regardless, she can even temporarily erase things like the concept of speed and space but it only lasts for a split second. 

"Now I'm starting to regret giving you that power."

Enzo said since even with the rapid growth and evolution, he was unable to reach the true potential of the ability. There are some mutant powers that require specific compatibility. 

"Cheer up, at least now I won't be needing your help when fighting."

"Tough luck. That aside we should head outside now since we've been here for quite a while now."

"Alright, I'm going to take a shower. You can join me if you want."
