Coda

Several days passed, our love for each other grew stronger and we got to know each other better. After those stressful and challenging moments, Javan bought a new vase to replace the broken one - an equally beautiful one. We created a new breed of tulip flowers, purple and white colored ones. The vase had an in-built water supply system and a temperature regulating device to ensure proper growth of the seedlings. The plants grew beautifully and within a short period of time. Javan and I monitored the plants regularly; it was amazing.

My birthday was fast approaching and I longed to meet my family. Javan asked me what I wanted as a birthday gift and I only requested to visit my family. For some reason, he declined my request and that hurt me a lot. A day before my birthday, I reminded him of his promise to make me happy; he still refused to take me home. I decided to just visit my mother's grave and give her some fresh flowers; Javan consented to this idea. At noon, I laid on the relaxing chair beside the pool; it was super relaxing. It was a comfortable massaging chair; I enjoyed the treatment. Great!

After supper, Javan and I had a discussion in his study before going to bed. I was so excited that I was turning twenty one on the twenty first of July and wished my mother would be present. Well, let's get in on the details of our conversation.

Javan: Tomorrow is your big day.

Ndale: Yessss! I would visit my mother and if you would permit me, I would go to the palace.

Javan: We have already talked about that.

Ndale: Yes but I still want to.

Javan: We are not going to the palace tomorrow, okay. We will just visit your mother's grave and return home to have fun.

Ndale: But I really want to see my family.

Javan: No

Ndale: Why don't you like taking me to the palace? It's been a month since I met my family and I miss them a lot.

Javan: We not going to the palace and nothing you say can change that. My decision is final, understand?

Ndale: Oh Terry please

Javan: Please let's go and rest baby.

Ndale: This is not fair.

Javan: Oh sweetie

Ndale: I am not... Ahhh

He lifted me to and walked to the bedroom. That was unexpected.

Javan: Sweetheart

Ndale: I am not your sweetheart.

Javan: Yes you are

Ndale: No I am not

Javan: Yes you are

Ndale: No I'm not

Javan: Yes you are

Ndale: Prove it then, let me see my family.

Javan: Shhhh, listen to this sweet melody my love.

In bed currently, he sang me to sleep. How adorable, his voice was soothing.

The next morning when I woke up, the room was beautifully decorated. I was over excited. I took a beauty bath and came out to meet the cover cloth folded into a heart shape with a purple tulip and a card. It was from Javan; very cute.

The letter read '' Happy birthday Dearest. I love you so much. I am blessed to have you in my life much less as my life partner. You are a kind soul. May this new year bring great and amazing things your way. Thank you for being you, cause 'you is amazing '. You are so special. I hope all your birthday wishes come true. Wishing you a big slice of happy. Enjoy your day Sweetie. I love you. GOD bless you. ~Love Terry.''

I think I've got the cutest man as my husband. His handwriting was beautiful and the card was cute; I loved it. I wore a purple Nesli nap dress with white ballerina shoes to match; something simple to begin my lovely day. I walked elegantly down the stairs and joined Javan for breakfast. He had prepared all the meals; so delicious and appetizing. I felt so special. After that mouthwatering meal, we took a ride in one of Javan's luxurious flying cars to the cemetery. Oh mother! I took three of the new breeds of tulips we had created. I was happy, observed a moment of silence in honor of the one person who never gave up on me. From there, we had lunch at the Xzony restaurant, one of the best in Zangula Kingdom. I had potato wedges, aloo toast, cheesy vegetable nachos with chicken honey chill and a chocolate milkshake as dessert. Javan had the same meal but had lemonade for dessert. I was so full that I could barely walk. The food was excellent.

We got home at about three in the afternoon, though I was happy, my joy was not complete. I was grateful. I took a shower and phoned my relatives since they forgot to wish me on my special day; even Leah was guilty. None of them picked my call. I was so sad. Javan walked in later with a gift. It was a beautiful Celestina cape jamsuite, purple in color with gold beads skillfully arranged at the chest area. I loved it. He talked me into wearing it immediately. It was so beautiful and fitted me perfectly; I am so fortunate. He even did a dance performance, surprisingly it was good but I laughed my heart out. I joined the dance and we switched places, he was now my audience but just as I kept dancing someone equally good at dancing joined me; It was Jade. I was elated, screamed and jumped on him. He showed me some new dance moves he had come up with. I was speechless and didn't see this surprise coming my way. My sleepover slash movie night idea came on. Oh Javan, yes, indeed I was his sweetheart. We had a lot of fun and were all very excited. Father, Jade, Leonora, Leah, Chloe, Mama Chu[ Jade mum's nickname] and Javan made my day very memorable. They showered me with gifts, laughter, blessings, hugs and kisses.

Yah was right after all, obedience is the way to success. I travelled down a path I knew nothing about but choosing the right way has paid. My journey into the unknown does not end here but will last my lifetime. The unknown is influenced by the known - my decisions. And so I choose to make the right choice every step of the way. This is a portion of my story. Each human is also on their own journey-life, what you do now will determine your end. Choose obedience alway. I would have loved to tell you more but time would not permit me. One more thing, I am a mother to a charming baby boy.

And yes, Javan did keep his promise, he took me to the real world. It turned out to be amazing but truth stands- there is no place like home. I figured Zangula was in the valley. Terry junior was born in India where most of the best doctors were trained. Kumpe was imprisoned for trying to poison Jade, when I heard the news, I was like 'I knew it.' I completed the safe house project thanks to my supportive and understanding husband. I also discovered that Lady Leonora was only being nice to me to get Javan's attention, I quickly informed my father and he married her off to the Prince of our rival kingdom to call it a truce. Finally, Zangula would have everlasting peace. She was happy about it though. Jade was crowned king at age twenty and married the woman he chose and loved. Good thing he did not follow our father's footsteps. He did things differently and Zangula Kingdom was a better place to live.
