CHAPTER 90: RIDDLE ANSWER THE PHONE

Maya was shocked and appalled to see what Deryn had left her. Her hands were on her mouth, she started tearing up. She looked up at the stairs and saw Deryn coming down the stairs, looking dismayed in his white packet shirt that he unbuttoned the first two buttons and his black suit trousers,

 "Deryn," She said faintly.

Deryn did not want to look at her face until he came close to her,

"You lied to me, Maya." He said as calm as he could be.

"Deryn, please forgive me," Maya begged.

"You were with my father, at the billionaires club. Yet you told me you were at the office."

"I was at the office, Deryn."

"Stop lying Maya," He said, he never raised his voice at a woman.

"I was at the office when you called me Deryn, please listen to me," Maya said as tears rolled down her eyes.

"I asked first, didn't I?" Deryn said calmly, wearing no emotions.
