Welcome

They obviously did not immediately believe it, but knowing the absurd longevity and difficulty to kill a vampire, they figured it was actually possible for the vampire progenitor to still be alive.

"You claim this thug is the vampire progenitor? Hmmm, I don't believe it. Maybe she's just a descendant but not the vampire progenitor herself. It's impossible." The thin elderly lady, who was known to have the same temper as Cyclops, i mean the one-eyed elder, scoffed. Clearly, she did not believe Tenebrea was the feared and respectable vampire progenitor. She felt people in power would at least have poise and be graceful, but the way Tenebrea acted was clearly the opposite.

"You will not insult Queen Tenebrea's name. I will forgive you for the first time, as you're still ignorant, but if such is done again, then I shall have your head." Anastasia was definitely doing her job as the muscle, with her face scowling and her aura now only focused on the elder.

"Damn, Anastasia is a badass," Julius whispered.

"It's to be expected. She is the third strongest and oldest vampire to ever live. She is called the blood rose because on every battlefield she ravaged, roses blossomed from the blood of her enemies. The right-hand woman of the Queen. Apparently, the queen trained several children, but only two were picked: Dracula "Vlad" and Blood Rose "Anastasia". Scarlet narrated to Davina and Julius.

"Wow, so what happened to the other kids?" Davina inquired.

"Oh, they all became gold rankers. Some of them are dead. Master killed them when she woke up," Scarlet said offhandedly.

"Oh okay….. Wait, what?" Julius yelled, making all the fallen look at him for a second. Noticing the eyes on him, he said sorry and looked at Tenebrea like she was a monster.

Tenebrea, who seemed to know what they were talking about, looked in the direction of Julius and gave a big grin.

Julius smiled back with a wry grin.

The elder, whom Anastasia singled out with her aura, had cold sweats running down her back and wings. She stepped back hurriedly, trying to use the head elder as protection.

"I apologize for Arilla's outburst. She tends to act before she thinks. Welcome to the home of the fallen. Forgive us if we don't have a name to call it." The head elder smiled as he spoke to Anastasia and Tenebrea.

"It's fine. I feel you should name it Peak City, but I don't live here, so you don't need to listen to me. Anyway, like I said before, we don't mean to impose. We'll just be passing through."

"If you say so, then no problem. If you need us, break this feather, and I will appear personally." The head elder gave them a black feather that looked really brittle. Anastasia collected the feather and nodded at the head elder. He reciprocated the nod and called on the rest of the elders to follow him. After they left, Anastasia and the group headed into the city.

They were obviously met with looks of curiosity; some had disdain, but they were in the minority. As people had seen what happened outside, rumors were already spreading about a really strong vampire who beat up all the elders by waving her hand.

Walking through the city was a nice feeling, as they had been trudging through jungles, forests, and recently even mountains, so walking in a big city gave them the relaxation they needed.

A loud cheer was heard in a structure that kind of looked like a coliseum. Tenebrea's curiosity got the best of her, so she decided to go check it out.

Their group diverted to the coliseum-like structure, and as they did, the cheering became louder. There were people heading into the coliseum excitedly, but not without giving Tenebrea's party strange looks.

Upon getting into the stadium, they were blasted with an air of blood, sweat, and saliva. The look on Tenebrea's face oozed excitement, as she knew what this was. It was not just a coliseum-like structure; instead, it was a coliseum.

She immediately collected the feather from Anastasia and broke it. Before 5 seconds had elapsed, the head elder landed with a boom in front of the group.

It looked like he wasn't playing around. He had appeared almost immediately.

"How may I help you, Queen Tenebrea?" He saw the feather pieces were still on the hands of Tenebrea, so he knew she was the one who called for him.

"You're quite pleasant for an indigene of the Daemon continent; you know that, right?" Tenebrea complimented the head elder.

"Thank you, Queen Tenebrea." He laughed in response. What they didn't know was that he was one of the top 50 most dangerous people on the Daemon continent.

"I want my disciples and I to participate in this event. Can you make it possible?" She asked sternly. Scarlet and the others were surprised when they heard what she said.

'Didn't you just make us fight a group of monsters several days ago?' They all thought the same thing, but they did not dare utter a word because they knew she was doing this for their own good. Regardless of how painful it'll be when they're done.

"That is no problem. I look forward to seeing you and your disciples stand victorious," he said. Calling another fallen, he exchanged a couple words with him and then said, "Excellent, you all have been registered except Lady Blood Rose, of course."

The head elder was still afraid of Anastasia. Yes, although he was ranked 38th in the top 50 most dangerous people on the Daemon continent, Anastasia was ranked number 15 and Vlad was number 13 on the list, but now that they leveled up, Anastasia would probably be number 13 and Vlad would be number 12. The reason why they were still not in the top 10 in the rankings was because that spot was reserved for the top race on the Daemon continent -The demons.

They were a race that was initially full of beings that just wanted to destroy and feast, but when their king came and tamed them, they became better. Though they would often go around tormenting other races, it was not as rampant as before, and after a while, the terrorizing stopped all together. They went into solitude; people thought they offended someone they weren't supposed to, and their race was weakened, but the top people knew that they had become too strong under their king and did not put the other races in their eyes anymore. From numbers 3–9 on the list were the seven deadly generals under the demon king. 10–15 were people under the vampire queen. It did not mean that the people under the demon king were far stronger than the people under the vampire queen. The demons had existed long before the vampires, so they had a longer time to train themselves and get strong.

The number 1 spot and the number 2 spot were taken by the demon king and the vampire queen, respectively.
