You've got to be kidding me

"Don't beat yourself up too much. I organized this so you all could see where you're lacking." Tenebrea spoke like an actual master.

'No, you were just bored and needed some entertainment. ' Anastasia thought

Like Tenebrea heard her, she looked at Anastasia and gave a scary grin that caused Ana to have goosebumps.

"Well, I might be up next." Scarlet was ready to go up.

"FOR OUR NEXT BATTLE, IT IS SOMETHING WE ARE ALL FAMILIAR WITH. TWO OF OUR OWN BRAWLING. OUR FIRST CONTENDER IS NATE LOEKE"

A young man who looked exactly like Bronco except for the shorter hair and facial hair walked to the center stage wearing gauntlets and full battle armor.

"I sense the same blood signature as the earlier opponent, Bronco. They are brothers," Scarlet said as she looked at the handsome fallen, who gave her group a scowl.

People cheered as they loved the brothers, Nate and Bronco. Nate was the older brother, and he protected his brother like he was his father, so watching what Julius did to Bronco made him want to kill Julius, but one of the elders told him not to try anything that would damage their reputation, so he held it in. He felt better after realizing Bronco wasn't fatally injured, but that did not mean that he liked Julius.

"OUR NEXT CHALLENGER IS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE GENERAL ARMSTRONG, TALIA ARMSTRONG." The crowd oddly kept silent. The group expected at least a little cheer as she was also a fallen, but she got nothing.

A black-haired beauty was carted into the arena. She had black hair, and her eyes looked like obsidian; if you stared too long, you could get sucked into them and never recover. Several shackles held her down. The guards that brought her in started removing her restrictions. Her neck, hands, legs, mouth, and finally her wings, which looked different from the others,

Normal fallen had gigantic black wings to carry their body weight, but other than that, there was nothing special. Her wings were different, as they had bone spurs coming out from the top of the joint, and they sparkled like black gems. They looked like weapons, not extra appendages.

Scarlet managed to catch Tenebrea's expression.

'You've got to be kidding me. Another one? That was all that was on Tenebrea's mind. What the others couldn't see was the resplendent red light oozing from Talia.

"Ana, get me the head elder now." Ana nodded and disappeared. In a few seconds, she and the head elder appeared.

"What do you request of me, Queen Tenebrea?" He asked

"Who is she?" Tenebrea pointed at Talia, who was slowly stretching.

"She is the great granddaughter of the mad King. The same mad king who rampaged across the Daemon continent for a while. Apparently, he had intercourse with a demon and produced a spawn. The demon later came to our clan to live, as she did not want to go back due to shame. She later lived here till she died, but her son fell in love with another fallen, who gave birth again to another son, The late general Armstrong, and he had her." The head elder explained.

"So why is she restrained?" Scarlet was the one who asked now.

"The mad king passed more than his strong bloodline. There were also traces of his insanity passed down. All the ones related to him were a bit over the top, which is why we made sure they were all placed in the army, where they would at least have a taste of bloodshed once in a while. But after General Armstrong died, Talia calmed down and was no longer angry. We thought it was her father's death that made her calm, but what we didn't know is that she was just planning. She tried to kill her mates when they were training. She kept yelling "I'd destroy all of you for killing my father". We originally planned on putting her out of her misery, but she becomes calm every now and then, so we left her restrained. She recently asked us if, if she won this tournament, we'd let her go free so we'd never see her again. There is no harm in it as we are still stronger than her, so we agreed." The head elder shrugged.

"If I hadn't come here, releasing her would have been the worst mistake you ever made. She'd get strong really fast and come kill you all," Tenebrea said. "Well, I want her."

"You want her? What do you mean?" The elder inquired

"I want to take her with me. These are my direct disciples, and the pixie is my student. I would make her my direct disciple," Tenebrea said passionately.

"Hmmmm, what do we get out of this?" The elder wondered

"The vampires, The barbarians, and the dark pixies are all allies. Also, you'd be able to trade exclusively with any of us at a discounted price." Tenebrea spoke like a merchant, bartering.

"I see. I'd discuss with the other elders." The head elder vanished.

Tenebrea's eyes returned to the female fallen, who was looking at her captors with annoyance.

"Where's my weapon, oaf?" She requested aggressively and was handed a weapon with three sharp prongs, and the bottom had a sharp edge for slashing—a trident.

She swung and swirled the trident with a smile. She looked at all the spectators, who felt chills as her eyes passed them. She finally reached Tenebrea, who was smiling at her with a smile of desire.

'Ughh weirdo.' She was the one who had goosebumps now.

She faced Nate. Aww, isn't it big brother Nate? Do you really want to fight me? You know you've never won."

"Today will be different." He hit his gauntlets together and took a brawling position. A light curtain shone behind him.

"FIGHT!" He blasted forward, ready to attack.

He arrived at Talia and punched her. The punch connected, but he did not feel flesh. There was a light shimmer, and then Talia disappeared.

"Shit, a clone." He immediately flew forward. Talia appeared behind him with a slash, but he dodged the attack.

Tch, I thought you'd fall for that." Several Talias stood around Nate, but they did not talk.

She could create light clones but not make them talk. Nate punched and clobbered, but did not land a single attack. This continued on for a while. Talia, whom he was trying to hit, was hovering above the coliseum, invisible.

"I should just leave right now, but these elders are definitely watching me. Ughhh, time to fight." She floated down, and the clones all disappeared. She materialized and flew toward Nate.

He punched, and she blocked; she slashed, and he dodged. It was a fast-paced fight. They were also using light to increase their speed, and soon it was just traces of light that normal people would see.

She pierced Nate in the shoulder, and he reciprocated with a punch in the stomach with sharp knives embedded in the knuckles of his gauntlets. Talia vomited blood while trying to remove the trident, but Nate held the trident to prevent her from taking it out. He punched and kicked until she let go and retreated.

She was bleeding from her stomach and had cuts all over her face and limbs. Nate smiled as he thought he had won, as she did not have a weapon any more.

Talia's injuries healed, but before they could finish, she flew at Nate with a punch. Nate felt the punch would be weak, but he still blocked. From nowhere, he felt a sharp pain in his abdomen. He looked down, and her wings had pierced into his stomach and were still digging deep. He tried to fight back, as he knew if she split her wings apart, he'd also be cut in half by the force.

Talia was unrelenting, and so was he. He hit her face, breasts, and arms multiple times to not give her an allowance to spread her wings, but the mistake he made was that he forgot about the trident still in his shoulder, which Talia quickly pulled out and placed on his throat.

He felt cold, as he knew he had lost. "You win. Once again, Talia, you beat me."

She removed her wings slowly and scowled. "What did you expect? I am an Armstrong. We don't lose."

She looked at the elders sitting in a booth and flipped them off. She started walking backstage when she heard a voice in her head.

"Yoohoo, Armstrong girl."

"Who??" She looked around frantically.

She saw Tenebrea signaling for her to come towards them. She was skeptical, but her instinct told her to go, so she did.
