What started as a simple night-time robbery turned into an experience he'll never forget. Dezhong Prince, a cunning teenager,, spent the last day of an old year robbing a simple store with his friends until he took a detour that changed his life.

While moving through, he's met with a beast that torments him throughout the whole night until he receives this:

<p>Having spent countless hours running, searching, fighting, and killing beasts, Dezhong Prince and Dark Prince had only managed to score a total of fifty-six experience points, even though they had killed over eighty beasts. The two boys, using their gifted abilities, had so little luck finding basic tiered beasts as the strongest in the entire forest.</p>

<p>Even though Dezhong had only a few points left to level up, he still wished he could have moved on to the next level in just one night so that he'd receive the Shadow King's power and the extra ability his system promised when he had accidentally created his clone.</p>
