"YEAH!!!" Cheers and triumphant screams of joy echoed in the presence of Desper's police men and women as they watched Mane and the Mayor get sentenced to over twenty years in prison. They were charged with attempted murder, a heinous crime that they may have never committed in the first place. 

The people of Desper cheered as well, for they were now going to elect a new mayor who would hopefully do a better job than the last. Also, they were anxious to see who the new Chief was going to be. Most were hoping for Ethan Knight to fill the spot since he was the one that conducted the investigation. Others were hoping for someone else, most likely a Neveahian, to take the place of Chief so that they could handle Desper's Mutant problem.
