Dezhong placed the soldier down and watched as he ran back to the others. Now, he only had to deal with the Military Commander himself, Commander Nova, his older brother's former boss. The irony of the situation was that Nova and Damian were good friends since they both worked in law and enforcement and one thing they both had in common was their distaste for Mutants even though they worked for them.

Now that Dezhong was standing before Nova, he feared what would occur if the man who was almost like family to him found out about his true identity.

'Would he kill me? Or would he let me live?'

Nonetheless, Nova wasn't the type to let a fight go. Learning from countless stories told to him by Zhao and Damian, Dezhong knew for a fact that Nova was a skilled fighter, a skilled one for someone his age.
