What started as a simple night-time robbery turned into an experience he'll never forget. Dezhong Prince, a cunning teenager,, spent the last day of an old year robbing a simple store with his friends until he took a detour that changed his life.

While moving through, he's met with a beast that torments him throughout the whole night until he receives this:

AWAKENED: THE BEAST SYSTEM

At that exact moment, a conversation between the two Shadow Beings and the two beast holders was held concerning the state of their current enemy whose name was unknown but whose presence was well acknowledged.

This enemy, who they had earlier underestimated, had gotten a one-up on them by killing one of Dezhong's Conjured Shadows and absorbing its Shadow Essence. Because of this, a few speculations went around concerning the enemy's chances of stepping into the Shadow Realm.

At first, Dezhong thought that the chances were extremely high and that the enemy, if they succeeded in stepping into the Realm, was going to find and release the Mistress of Darkness, Eva.
