____Yuji Pov____

After making Yoshitake my employer, the long-awaited day finally arrived. Gathered on a pier, thousands of businessmen were waiting for permission to board the ship, which was quite luxurious by the way.

The annihilation tournament would be taking place on a private island, bought by Katahara Metsudo. The old man had no limitations when it came to spending money, it was shocking to think that someone like him could be president of a bank.

The ship that would carry most of the tournament participants was named S.S Kengan, and I couldn't help but be a little shocked at how big and beautiful it was.

"Oh, I've never seen such a big ship!" A female voice suddenly sounded from beside me, causing me to turn to see a Senju woman looking forward with surprise on her features.

Since Yoshitake could bring some people as chaperones to watch the tournament, I decided to bring Senju along. The girl was quite quiet when I explained about the Kengan association, which was quite nice. My main intention was to bring Osanai and Shiki too, but they were both busy with their own careers, which hurt me a little, but I understood.

"Uh, why are they taking so long to let us in?" Senju asked with a little impatience.

"They probably have the correct time to allow entry." I replied, my eyes wandering through the crowd of people.

Even from a distance, I could already identify some fighters who stood out among the people, like Jun Sekibayashi, who was muscular and tall, and Kono Haruo, who looked like a giant gorilla by his silhouette.

Besides them, I could see big names like Hatsumi Sen, Imai Cosmo and Okubo Naoya. In the distance, Mokichi was also standing patiently, Elena and Kou beside him as they both seemed amazed by the gigantic ship.

Well, it was normal for Kou to be with both of them, after all, she was now officially part of the Robinson family. After a few months together, Mokichi adopted Kou as his daughter, which was quite surprising, but not something undesirable. As much as I wanted to have the little girl around all the time, I was still a minor, so I couldn't do it myself. But since Mokichi was someone I trusted, I had no problem with the adoption, and neither did Kou, since it only served to bring her and Elena even closer together.

"Uh, some of these guys seem to be strong." Senju noted as he looked at Haruo. "Are you sure you can fight them?"

When I heard his question, I didn't answer it immediately. Although I had confidence in my abilities, I knew that people like Kanoh Agito and obviously Kuroki Gensai outclassed me considerably, so I wasn't full of myself. But still, as small as the chance of beating them was, I was holding on to that small percentage, after all, I would never know if I could beat them if I didn't try.

"Don't worry about it, I can definitely beat all of them." I said with an excited smile, my eyes skipping between the fighters who might or might not be my opponents in the tournament.

.

As I vaguely remembered, only a select few were allowed to board the S.S Kengan, while the rest were forced to board an old ship, which was hidden behind the gigantic vessel. Yoshitake was one of those selected, so we ended up immediately boarding the luxurious ship.

"Oh, how beautiful!" After we were guided into the party hall, Senju marveled at how beautiful the place was, and I couldn't help but smile at her reaction.

"How about we go get something to eat?" I asked, this getting the attention of the girl, who turned to me and nodded in agreement.

Holding her hand before she could react, I started to guide her through the people, leaving a Yoshitake with a defeated expression behind.

"I'm being ignored." I could hear him muttering, but I simply shook my head at that. What did he expect? That I would take him by the hand too?

After arriving at the table where the food was being served, I turned to Senju with a smile, noticing a blush on the girl's face, who just huffed and walked toward the table to serve herself. I laughed lightly at her reaction, stopping beside her as I picked up a plate.

"!"

Suddenly I felt a strong killing intent directed at me, my eyes narrowing as I continued to act normally.

'Looks like we meet again, Setsuna.' I thought, a dangerous smile appearing on my lips as some of my aura began to leak out. 'I was hoping for our rematch.'

Before my aura expanded out of control, I quickly contained it, turning to see Senju, who was putting the food on his plate with a beautiful smile on his lips.

She seemed to notice me after a few seconds, her eyes narrowing as a small blush appeared on her cheeks. "What is it?"

She asked as she looked away, this making me laugh as I continued to assemble my plate.

"No big deal, I was just thinking about how lucky-"

Before I could finish my flirtatious attempt, a person suddenly stood between the two of us.

"Oh, what a pretty girl we have here." I heard a relaxed voice, my eyes narrowing as I realized what was happening. "Have we met before? I think so, if you tell me your name and number, I'm sure I can remember it clearly."

A vein popped out on my forehead as I realized who was standing in front of me, my hand landing on his shoulder as I squeezed hard enough to make him groan in pain.

"Hatsumi, you're being a little rude interrupting us like that." I spoke with a bit of hostility in my tone, the man turning to look at me with a bit of sweat on his face.

"Oh, you must be Yuji Shinakawa, right?" He asked as he rubbed his shoulder, a nervous smile on his lips. "I didn't know that girl was the girlfriend of the Fangs of Metsudo apprentice."

The moment the words came out of the martial artist's mouth, the people in the surrounding area seemed to freeze, before turning their attention to the conversation between me and the man. Even the fighters seemed interested in what Hatsumi had said.

"So it's that boy?"

"He doesn't look like much."

"So he is the prodigy of the Kengan association?"

"Was he the one who won against Hassad and lost against Mokichi Robinson?"

"I learned that he has been training with Mokichi as well."

It didn't take long for the murmurs to start, a sigh escaping my lips as I just crossed my arms and looked at Hatsumi, who was scratching the back of her neck as she looked around.

"Damn, I didn't think they would be so agitated after hearing that." Hatsumi said with weariness in her tone.

I let out a sigh, my attention turning to Senju, who, at this point, was looking at the whole situation with confusion, his eyes turning to me for an explanation.

"I'll explain later." I muttered as I gestured with my hands, the girl only sighing as she turned to walk toward a table.

"So, my boss-" Hatsumi was about to speak, but I just ignored him as I followed Senju with my own plate in hand. "Okay, leave me here talking to myself... Damn, young people these days..."

After I reached Senju, the girl was silent for a few seconds, before a cheeky smile appeared on her lips.

"Jealous?" She asked, me turning to face her. "Hehe."

I just sighed, turning my attention forward. Jealous of that guy? Please don't play games with me...
