____Narration____

Yoshioka was nervous, and this was not without reason. As captain of one of the island's bodyguard squads, he knew what was going on about the invasion. It was only a matter of time before the invaders began to act, but he didn't expect them to do so so soon.

But it was odd that the start of the attack began with a focus on eliminating a specific target, although that made sense considering who the target was.

Yuji's strength was common knowledge among bodyguards. At only 17 years old, he was easily among the top 10 bodyguards in both strength and skill, which was a tremendous achievement.

But surely there were more troublesome targets than him among the bodyguards, like Kanoh for example, but why hadn't they attacked Metsudo's Fangs?

Simple, because Yuji, even though he showed his strength in the tournament, was still an easier target to deal with than the current Fangs.

But him being easier to eliminate didn't take away from his importance, since Yuji was currently a candidate to become the sixth Fangs of Metsudo, as well as someone with monstrous potential. Eliminating him was not only beneficial for the invasion, but also for future plans.

So when he received the information that the invaders had started an attack against Yuji, Yoshioka moved immediately.

The last thing he wanted was for his junior, and future right-hand man of his master, to die.

"I'm approaching the site!" Yoshioka reported into his radio, his one eye narrowing as he noticed the absence of any noises indicating combat.

Pulling out a knife, Yoshioka braced himself as he moved quickly down the hall.

While he trusted Yuji's strength, the boy was still a teenager. Even if he was more powerful than any invader, there could be someone extremely experienced among them, and that would certainly be a problem.

"...!"

But fortunately for Yuji, there weren't many fighters capable of overcoming his thousands of fights made in his mental landscape.

Turning down the hallway, Yoshioka froze as he saw the chaotic scene in front of him, his eye blinking in disbelief as he slowly turned his attention back to Yuji.

"You took too long." Sitting on the back of one of the invaders, Yuji wiped the dust from his pants as he stood up. "One of them is dead."

He didn't even have to point for Yoshioka to figure out that he was referring to the one with the head stuck in the wall, if the blood dripping from his neck was any indication.

"The other two are alive, so it's possible to get some information out of them..." Yuji turned to look at one of the men lying on the ground, Yoshioka noticing his jaw hanging only by his skin. "But I wouldn't expect anything from this guy, he's probably not very talkative."

The captain of the bodyguards sighed as he listened to the boy's joke, his fingers rubbing his forehead as he wondered why he had bothered so much.

"Now, I'm going." Yuji walked past the man, waving his hand in farewell. "You take care of the rest, I trust you for that, Yoshioka!"

But Yoshioka was quick to turn around, his hand flying toward Yuji's shoulder, only to have his fingers find nothing but air.

"You idiot! Clean up the mess yourself!" The bodyguard cursed the boy for this, his normally calm expression turning angry as he looked down the hallway, noticing all the blood splattered around the place.

.

'Yuji's fight is already over... I wonder if they went to the salon?'

Walking through the corridors, Hiyama looked around curiously. Ever since she had arrived on the island, she had not taken the time to look around the place. It was surprising how the taming in the center of the island had been done.

It was a great demonstration of the Kengan association's purchasing power, since the island belonged to Katahara Metsudo, and was large enough to house thousands of people.

'Certainly, President of the Kengan association is quite a position...'

Hiyama knew this very well, since before he met Yuji, his goal was to become president in order to help Akoya...

And to mention Akoya, although she had seen his death, she had not yet seen his body in the morgue. Even though she owed the man nothing, she still wanted to say her last goodbye, since despite everything, the policeman had saved her life.

But... She didn't want to do it without Yuji's permission.

'Should I ask him?'

Thoughtfully, the woman barely noticed a stout figure turning down the hallway in front of her.

'Would he be angry about that? What if he makes that scary expression again? Just thinking about it...'

The woman's face grew hot from her own thoughts, her hands cupping her cheeks as she shook her head and returned to her dull expression.

'Focus, stop thinking about that kind of thing! He's still a teenager.'

Despite everything, she was still a grown woman, and she realized how strange it was for someone like her, who was already nearing 30, to approach a teenager like Yuji, who to her, was nothing more than her savior...

Well, when he turned 18, she wouldn't have to think about it too much.

Opening a small smile, Hiyama was about to turn down the hall, but before she could continue, she noticed a shadow looming in front of her, her expression filling with confusion.

Turning to find the shadow responsible, she couldn't even react when a hand squeezed her throat, her eyes filling with dread as she turned her attention forward to find a blond man staring at her with indifference.

"Don't worry, I won't kill you. You will serve another purpose..."

Hiyama choked, trying to free himself to pull air into his lungs.

"Capturing the anomaly."
