Uninvited Guests

The door flung open, rose and thistle were just about to pull their suitcases in with them when they heard loud shouting. They both looked in the doorway just in time to throw their suitcases and dive out of the way.

Spells rained down on the doorway while Macky and Lilu both screamed. The spells landed on the doorway exploding in both frost and energy. The doors, somehow were unharmed. The ground around the doors, walkway up to the doors, and the entrance right behind the doors were another story. They were frozen and fractured. Scorch marks and ice coating everything.

After the dust settled Rose and Thistle both poked their heads around the end of the doorway looking in to see a freaked out Macky and Lilu.

Rose was the first to speak "well that was a warm welcome.... nice to see you too!" Her eyes scowling at the two girls. Thistle simply looked at the destruction, then the two girls, and whispered out "damn, what did we miss?"
