It's Sunday so it's okay for students to went in and out of the School. You were about to call a cab when a black car stopped in front of you.

"Please get in the car Miss" Butler Jim said

I have somewhere else to go Butler Jim. Gwen said

I'm sorry Miss but this is an order from Madam. Butler Jim said

"I guess I have no choice, aren't I?" Gwen said as she gets in the car.

You took out your phone and called Zeke.

Mint where are you? Ice said as soon as he answers the call

Sorry, Babe, I was about to go there, but our butler picked me up, mother wants me home. you said in an irritated voice

I don't know, probably she misses scolding me. Gwen said

"Where here Miss." Butler Jim said as he opens the car door

Gwen took a deep sigh before you get off the car.

"Please get inside Miss". Butler Jim said

Gwen took a quick shower and change her clothes then sit on your bed. You keep on thinking why does your mom call you today.

I'm going back to our house tonight, for the preparations for my party.

Gwen was in front of the vanity mirror inside your suite room in the hotel. And the make-up artist is busy doing her make-up. She was staring at the gown in the mannequin beside you. Your really not into parties but this party is planned by your mom so you are so exited about it. and what excites you more is seeing Zeke in the suit.

"Wow, you are so beautiful miss," one of the attendants said as they saw you wearing the gown.

"Thank you," you said and smiled

The door opened and the event organizer enter the room.

Are you ready Ms. Evans?

"Yes," you said and smiled

Okay, I'll start the program. she said and leave the room.

You were walking to the staircase when you hear the host announce your name.

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome our celebrant Gwyneth Evans she said and then the spotlight came your way.

Gwen was so nervous, that she can feel her hands shaking, but everything went off when she saw the man she's been wanting to see. And just like what he said, he looks so darn hot in a suit. She smiled as your eyes met with him.

Zeke was at the table reserved for him with his friends when the Host said that Gwen is coming down. And then your world stopped as you saw her walking down the stairs. I can't help but be proud to say that, that girl is mine. She smiled at me as our eyes met.

You keep on staring at Gwen as she talks to some of the guests, you still admit that you hate it when she smiles like that to someone else. She was the very person that made me feel so special.

Stop staring at her she might melt. someone said and tap your shoulder

"Your late" Ice said as he saw Niccolo.

Sorry, my parent's insisted that I should come along with them. Niccolo said

Niccolo was about to talk when his parents call him towards them.

Is Niccolo's family close to Gwen's family? Luke asked Ice

You both stared at each other when the music stops, which made you and Ice laugh as you both walk to the table.

Excuse me Miss, but your mom wants you at your table. one of mom's assistants said

Okay, While everybody is enjoying their food and their drinks. Can I call the father of the celebrant Mr. Evan for his message to our celebrant? the event host said

Gwen looks at her dad as he walks in front.

"Good evening, Thank you everyone for coming here tonight to celebrate the birthday of my daughter. As a father, there is nothing will compare seeing your children happy, and seeing my daughter's face, I can tell that she is the happiest girl here tonight. I can't say that I am a perfect father, because I know that I have a lot of shortcomings towards my daughter. But my daughter never complain she is a daughter any father wanted to have. Happy Birthday, Gwen." Your father said

Gwen smiled and mouth I love you to her dad.

Okay please give a round of applause to Mr.Evans.the host said

The party is almost over everyone but the mother of the celebrant has an announcement to say. The host. said as you saw your mom walk in front.

"Good evening everyone and of course happy birthday to my daughter. Before anything else, I would like to thank the guest that is here tonight. Especially our special guest Gomez Family, actually it is not just a birthday celebration."

All of a sudden Gwen feel scared of every word that is coming to her mom's mouth.

"It is not only to celebrate my daughter's birthday but also to celebrate the future addition to our family because ladies and gentlemen tonight I am officially announcing the merging of Evan's Group of Companies to Gomez Corporation along with the engagement of my daughter Gwen to the only heir of Gomez Corporation Niccolo Gomez"

Gwen's body froze as soon as she heard the word engagement. You were stunned not doing anything and just stared at your mother who is smiling in front. You were just standing there not doing anything.

"D-dad" finally the word came out of your mouth.

D-do you know anything about this? you asked in a low voice

You walk away to the hotel, your mind was blanked you felt betrayed, and all along you thought your mom has finally changed but I guess she didn't once again she used you for her good.

Zeke was staring at Gwen the whole time and you can see how happy she is. But your world was crushed as soon as you heard everything that her mom said. He closed his fist as he control his anger.
