BUMPING INTO TROUBLE (2)

"Hey ! Do you know who you are talking to? Behaving so unruly." Liena said.

Xinyi scoffed turning to Liena as she gazed at her from head to toe. The girl even though she had what she called a perfect shape, she couldn't see the girl's face since it was covered with a mask. Therefore, she couldn't judge the book standing in front of her.

"So what? Who is he? Is he a celebrity or something? Even if he is, one should always know his/her mistake." Xinyi said.

" You! " Liena shouted angrily but was held back by Jianhong.

"What's going on here?" Randy asked arriving without his mask.

Xinyi glared eyes open as she looked at Randy unbelievably. It was as if her whole body had gone into hibernation.

"She. She's so annoying." Liuxian said pointing at Xinyi who didn't do anything but stare at Randy.

"I sincerely apologize for any trouble my friend might have caused. Let's go." Shu Chun said dragging Xinyi out of the store.

Jianhong smiled as he watched Xinyi's reaction. Even though Randy would have caused them trouble for removing his mask, this time he had saved them.

"Senior, aren't you going?" Liena asked Jianhong.

Jianhong turned nodding his head and moved to leave despite his eyes never leaving the door. Meanwhile, Shu Chun sighed as she held her chest gasping after the long run she had done just to take Xinyi out of trouble.

"Are you okay?" Shu Chun asked looking at Xinyi who was still dazed.

Seeing Xinyi in a daze, Shu Chun turned hitting Xinyi on the arm to get her to wake up. Xinyi yelled in pain glancing at Shu Chun.

"What was that for? Wait. How did we get here?" Xinyi asked making Shu Chun shift back.

"Have you been possessed? Don't you remember what you just did? I told you that we should have just ignored them. You didn't listen. Putting me in this trouble." Shu Chun said dusting herself.

" That was real. I met Rand Maneerattana. I met Randy!" Xinyi said smiling which earned a snare from Shu Chun.

" Yes. You did. And you fought with Senior Liuxian and JH. Congrats. I guess we should throw a party." Shu Chun said rolling her eyes.

" What? What did you just say? I fought with who?" Xinyi asked.

" Tang Xinyi. You are really dumb. How could you forget their clothes. I even remembered it. How couldn't you? That's why I tried to stop you. Senior Liuxian was the one who stepped on the groceries." Shu Chun said.

" He was wearing a mask. How was I supposed to recognize him? That means the girl that arrived..... " Xinyi asked.

" Zhang Liena. She was the one." Shu Chun said.

"Gosh. I can't believe this. Shu Chun, you should have stopped me. What if JH decides to target me because of this?" Xinyi asked.

" Don't worry. JH isn't as pretty minded as you think. Let's go." Shu Chun said holding Xinyi's hand as they walked to the dorm.

The next day, Xinyi was awakened by Shu Chun as usual. Even after staying here for some days, she still couldn't get herself to wake up as early as everyone was getting up. Plus, the matron who always passed by waking everyone up, always passed their room without even as much as knocking on it.

"Thank you." Xinyi said rubbing her eyes cutely.

"No problem. I have always ran the water for you. Better be fast. I will get your clothes out." Shu Chun said smiling as she watched Xinyi groan before entering the bathroom.

Few minutes later, Xinyi opened the door to practice room entering with Shu Chun. The both of them always had something to talk about and Xinyi was happy to have such a roommate. Entering inside, Xinyi immediately spotted Liena stretching while being admired some girls who had gathered her. Liena's slim figure and amazing flexibility had turned her into a goddess which was something that didn't sit right with Xinyi.

"Let's find somewhere to stretch before Mrs Liping arrives." Shu Chun said leading Xinyi to a spot in the room.

The two of them dropped their bags by the corner before starting with light stretches. Rotating her arm, Xinyi continued to stare at Liena even though Shu Chun was talking to her. Obviously she was a friend of Winter Night which meant they would favor her. Xinyi's eyes narrowed in jealousy as she remembered yesterday. Zhang Liena was indeed cocky. Smiling to herself, Xinyi bent backwards till her hand touched the ground and Shu Chun did the same thing.

"Want to be the popular girl? No way." Xinyi whispered remembering all the lessons her father and mother had made her attend as a child.

Being a child of an elite family, there was always many things to learn which included oballet, vocal training, piano lessons, language courses. Of course Liena was no match for her. Standing up, Xinyi changed her position getting ready to do a handstand. Leaning forward, Xinyi showed different techniques with ease earning the admiration of everyone in the room. Xinyi smiled to herself as she watched Liena stand up wondering what the entire room was looking at. Tightening her abdomen, Xinyi bent her legs forward allowing them to almost touch the ground but kept her balance.

"Wow, Xinyi." Shu Chun said giving Xinyi thumbs up as she admired Xinyi's flexibility.

"What are you guys looking at?" Xinyi heard a man ask making the crowd disperse.

Xinyi stood to her feet stretching her hands as everyone took their place and Shu Chun left to stand at the front.

"Hello everyone. I am Mr Chen. I will be your vocal teacher. Let's start by warming our voices up. Regardless of what path you decide to take, be it a rapper or a vocalist, you must remember that being an all-rounder is the best, okay?" Mr Chen asked.

" Yes! " Everyone said in unison.

" Okay, let's start. Here, we have a special way of doing our voice warm-ups. Liena, come and show the rest how it's done." Mr Chen said.

Liena nodded her head stepping forward to stand facing them. Xinyi rolled her eyes as she saw the innocent shy smile on Liena's face. It was indeed very logical for Mr Chen to call Liena since she had been a trainee for a long time but what she couldn't understand was why he couldn't just teach them himself?

Liena started making low sounds before gently stretching her voice. After she was through, Liena cleared her throat before beginning to sing. The vocal exercise had made her voice sound light but loud. A perfect soprano. The rest trainees smiled nodding their head as they watched Liena sing.

Suddenly the doors opened and Jianhong entered the room to see everyone staring at him. Spotting Mr Chen standing in front of them, Jianhong raised his hand apologizing as he realized he might have interrupted the class.

"JH, You are here. Come and listen. We truly have some talents." Mr Chen said smiling as he signaled Liena to stop.

Jianhong walked over awkwardly trying to avoid the number of stares looking at him. Taking a seat by the side, Jianhong smiled politely at Mr Chen.

"Okay Liena. Show them how to sing." Mr Chen said.

Liena smiled shyly clearing her throat before singing. Truth was, her voice was indeed heavenly which was something Xinyi couldn't refute. She just didn't like the fact that Liena was so close to Winter Night. Just as the fans believed, Winter Night was nobody's man. They could only live and work hard for their fans because their fans were doing the same thing. Suddenly, Xinyi remembered what Shu Chun had said;

"Sasaeng fans are the worst. Imagine having someone thinking about you 24/7, I don't think that's right."

Xinyi lowered her head sadly as Shu Chun's words stuck a hole in her chest. Shu Chun was right. Even if they were their fans, they didn't have a right to decide their lives.

While Xinyi had bent her head feeling sad, Jianhong's eyes suddenly caught view her and he recognized her. She had been the one who had argued with them fiercely the night before. Seeing the look of sadness on her face, Jianhong became confused looking at her instead of Liena who had been trying to impress him with her voice.

"You did very well, Liena!" Mr Chen said making Jianhong gaze up at Liena for the first time.

"Thank you Mr Chen." Liena said gazing at Jianhong while talking.

Xinyi rolled her eyes seeing how desperate Liena was looking for compliment from Jianhong.

"How did I do senior?" Liena asked Jianhong suddenly catching him off guard in front of everyone.

"You did well. Oh and before I forget." Jianhong said suddenly bringing out a plastic bag they had not seen with him before.

Liena smiled using one of her hands to arrange her hair as she watched Jianhong get up with the plastic bag. Thinking the bag was for her, Liena smiled with pride.

"Here. For the groceries Liuxian destroyed yesterday." Jianhong said to Xinyi.

Xinyi blinked looking round at the surprised stares gazing at her.
