"I don't bloody Understand!" Jake pounded on the table in frustration, "How can running errands be a training for me?"
"I'm sorry," The very calm man sitting in front of him, happened to be Larry Oswald, the manager of, a beauty parlor not too far from Ying's residence. He was so calm that Jake doubted if he ever lost his nerve. He asked, "What training?"
"Er…never mind," Jake sighed, "That woman will kill me by making me do her works. And I don't understand, why does she have to do all these?"
Without flinching, the ever-calm Larry said, "She has more stamina than you apparently."
Before Jake could reply to that, he saw a reflection in the mirror. Two girls were coming out of the revolving door. One was holding the other in her arms, maybe giving her condolences, because her face was swollen. She surely had cried a lot in the past few days. Her eyes were red and shady. Still her beauty was praiseworthy, revealing itself three times more along with the makeup.
"Who're those birds?" Jake asked Larry, still his fixed on the glass, watching their reflection.
"Oh, the left one is Julia Roberts, and the one she's holding is Felicity Govella," Larry answered.
"Hmm…regular customers of yours?" Jake asked while wiping off the dirt from the furniture.
"Pretty much. Girls at this age, you know…"
"The left one isn't bad. The right is a knockout though, even after her face bumped into a ten-ton monster car riding through Texas."
"Ha-ha," Larry said in a boring tone, "Very funny indeed."
"Ain't I?" said Jake, "Anyway, I…"
Before he could finish, he could see a Mercedes Benz rushing towards the two girls, like a horse out of control.
He turned back and rushed towards them, vaulting over the counter. Hearing running footsteps, both of them looked at him at once. But without explaining, he grabbed the two of them and pulled them backwards. They couldn't predict this sudden move and fell on the ground. Immediately, the Mercedes ran over the place right where they were a moment ago and hit a street lamp.
"Are you okay?" he helped them get up. The crying girl was shaking like a hysteria patient.
"Don't worry," the other girl, Julia said, "She'll be okay. She just…has a bad experience with car accidents, post traumatic stress."
"Death of loved ones?" Jake asked her.
She stared him in his eyes, "Yes, it was only a few days ago."
Then she looked at Felicity, "But right now, I need to help her reach her home."
"You surely can't do that alone," Jake shared a hand of Felicity to help her stand, "Let me lend you a hand."
"Are you sure?" Julia asked, "Won't this interfere with your work?"
"Absolutely not, I anyway needed to take a break. And my boss, Larry, is a REAL nice guy, I'm sure he'd understand," he waved his hand at Larry, sitting on his desk, "Hey, Larry, I'm taking the day off!"
Larry waved his hand in his ever-calm style in response.
"There it is," Jake started to walk, "Where is it you live?"
"I live in Ghost lane, she is in the house next to mine."
They started to walk towards Ghost lane.
"It's not that far, only a few minutes from here," Jake asked while walking, "About the accident you told earlier, what actually happened?"
"Well, it's an incident of a few days ago," Julia shrugged, "My brother Joseph and her brother Matt are school-mates, last Tuesday, he along with a few of his friends were to take a ride through the hills. Joseph didn't go, and I'm lucky that he did cause the rest of his mates were killed in an accident."
"Oh, that's horrible," Jake said, "It's particularly hard to recover from incidents like this."
"Mooo…."
"Holy Herbert!" Jake jumped out of scare, "What the hell was that?"
"Assalamu Alaikum," a man with a soothing smile printed on his face was pulling a cow on the road.
"Oh, that's Mr. Akbar," Julia introduced him, "He runs the Falafel shop on the next block."
"Hi, Mr. Akbar!" Jake said, "I didn't have any lunch yet. After I'm done with this, be sure to secure a table for me at your shop!"
"Of course, my brother," he answered, "It'll be my Amanat from you. May God place his blessings on you."
"What a nice man…" Jake saw him walking away, "But why's he pulling that cow like that?"
"Oh, it's some custom that he maintains every year. I've been seeing it since my childhood," Julia replied.
"You've been here for a long time?" he asked.
"Since I can remember, this place has so many memories," She remembered, "But those recent incidents are staining my memories."
"Don't worry, after every dark time, there comes the light illuminating your life."
"My, my…I didn't take you for a poet."
"I got many other outlets," Jake acted like it was nothing, "Anyway, how far is your home?"
"Lucky for you, this one just here is my residence. That means the ome ahead is her one," Julia hesitated, "Though I doubt leaving her alone will be a good idea, especially now that she's seeing ghosts."
"Ghosts?" Jake got a hint of mystery, "What do you mean?"
"Well, her parents died a year ago, ever since then it's only she amd her brother, Matt alone. Now that Matt's gone too, she's all alone in the world. Her cousin, I don't remember what his name is, he's living with her till she surpasses the shock. But that brat is on a whole other level. The whole day he's going on with his arcades. I doubt he'd even come here had his parents not forced him to."
"Could you cut short to the GHOST story?" Jake asked impatiently.
"You seem a bit interested in horrors," Julia guessed.
"Well, I'm an exorcist by profession," Jake announced.
"Really?" she was surprised, "And here's me thinking you are a cleaner by profession."
"Well, that's more like a part time job actually".
"Okay, anyway…after Matt died, she started seeing nightmare," Julia said, "But after a day, it turned into hallucinations…she says that there's this boy burning and holding a knife trying to gut her. She thinks that this is her brother, Matt's spirit."
"Well, spirits can't…" Jake noticed that he was standing on the highway for a while, "Look what I did, I made you keep standing on this road while giving Felicity so much trouble."
"Oh, right…" Julia noticed too, "You know what? Why don't you wait up by my home while I help her reach her room?"
"That's a great idea," Jake said, "Will there be someone in your home?"
"Yeah, that brat Joseph should be home from school by now…" she said, "Ask him to give you some lemonades from the fridge."
"Well, thanks by the way," Jake started towards the house on the opposite. Was it just his imagination, or did he just see a flicker of light on the window of the first floor?
He pushed call bell. He was having a strange feeling. Like he was being watched. It's just your mind making up weird feelings, he thought, too much dealings with the supernatural things in the last few days.
He rang the bell again. A footstep came and stopped right on the other side of the door. It stayed for a while, "Who is this?"
"Uh, I'm a friend of Julia," he couldn't figure out what else to say.
"Never saw you before," the door opened and the boy said at the same time.
"Uh," Jake stretched his hand for shaking, "Cause I just met her today."
"And you know what?" Joseph shook his hand cordially, "It's really nice to meet you, Jake."
"What? How do you know my name?" Jake frowned.
"Cause I read minds," Joseph smiled. He observed the change in Jake's expression, then chuckled, "Just kidding, it was written in your name tag."
"Oh," Jake laughed too, "How could I not notice it?"
"Why don't you come in?" Joseph welcomed him inside.
He was such a nice kid, Jake had to acknowledge it. He showed the interiors of their house, while speaking to him in such a formal manner, like he was his teacher or something.
He took Jake on the 1st floor, "this one is Julia's room, this one my father and mother's room and this one is mine."
As soon as he stopped in front of Joseph's room, Jake smelled something burning, "Hey, were you smoking?"
"Nah, I don't smoke," he went inside and brought a packet filled with Fried chicken remains, "KFC, wanna try?"
"No, thanks, I'm full," Jake rejected it, he wanted to have a peek inside the room, but the kid cleverly closed the door, so that he can't react much.
"Let's wait for Julia to come," he proposed, "will we go to the living room, watch some TV?"
"Why not?"
They started making their way to the down floor. Jake noticed book shelves attached to the wall beside the stair.
"These books are yours?"
"Mostly…"
Jake pulled a book, it was about cars, "You interested in cars?"
"A bit," he replied, "I'm actually interested in all sorts of things."
"Hmm."
"You know what?" Joseph was walking down the stairs, "Feel free to do anything, if you need to visit the toilet, it's over there, and the fridge is over there. Feel at home."
"Thanks a lot."
Jake took another book from the shelf. It was about cars too. He turned over some pages, that's when the bell rang again. He looked at the door, as Joseph opened it. It was Julia, along with a middle aged man and woman, must be their parents.
Joseph probably started the television, the sound of Naruto started coming from the living room.
"Hey, what's up?" Julia came at him.
"Nothing, just looking at his collection."
"Found something interesting?"
"Not quite…" Joseph stopped at a page, half of it was torn apart, "I think I just did find something interesting."
"Julia, why don't you bring your friend down here?" her mother called, "Let's gossip together a bit."
"Nit right now, I got something to discuss," she pulled his hand and took him to her room. Then she closed the door, "Now, tell ne what you found."
Jake was feeling shy to be alone with a girl in a room, but considering the situation, he tried to think straight, "Firstly, a question."
"Anything…"
"The car which the kids died by, which model was it?"
"Let me remember," Julia thought, "Um, a Toyota Camry, was it?"
Jake's hand started shaking, "You sure?"
"Pretty much. Why?"
"Look at this page here, it contained the figure diagram of the Toyota Camry, and it's torn off," Jake showed her.
"But why would anyone do that?" Julia asked.
"I wonder that myself," Jake thought. Then he looked at Julia, "Will you do something for me?"
"Anything," she answered, "As long as there's some explanations behind it."
"Firstly, I wanna ask, did you have any programs tonight?" he asked, "You did go to the parlor to get a make-up…"
"I did have a party invitation," she answered, "But this HERE seems more interesting to me."
"Well then…I need you to call the police and ask them what they think the accident was caused by, tire blast, brakes cut or something else."
Julia looked at him like he'd gone crazy, but she dialed up the number in her phone.
"A condition for working with me is that…" Jake said, "I can't always promise a reasonable and happy outcome. I hope you'll be okay with that."
"I'll see to…" she stopped in mid-speech, "Hello! Yeah, it's Julia from Roberts residence, I had some questions."
She went away a bit to speak with the cops. Jake would himself make the call, but he wasn't exactly comfortable with cops due to his previous mishappens.
After a but, Julia put down the phone, "You were right, the brakes were cut in that car. But I don't still understand what connection you form with the book and this car."
"Why would someone cut the diagram of the car which makes an accident within a while if not to study it, in order to sabotage it?"
"WHAT?" Julia couldn't believe her ears, "Are you suggesting that my brother is the culprit behind this? And that, the car accident was PLANNED?"
"You heard right," then Jake remembered about the strange feeling which he got when he reached Joseph's room. The last time he got such feelings was when he was in the prison, like a herd of dead people or creatures of hell was roaming in that room, "I think you need to have a bit of chat with your brother on this matter. I'm gonna call my associate now. She's a…uh, expert on such things. When I make contact with her, I'll return."
"I'm not sure if I can carry these out properly," Julia was feeling unsure.
"I'm sure you'll do it most wonderfully," Jake encouraged her, "Till we meet next."
He went out of the room, while passing by the living room, he looked at Joseph, who was still watching TV. He tried to cut off without making a sound, but Joseph could sense him, he sneered at him, "Going on already?"
"Uh, yeah…some important thing came to my mind."
"Oh, okay, bye!" he smiled, "I'm sure we'll see each other soon again."
"Yeah, that'll be when I DEAL with your puny little ass," Jake thought, such a nice boy with such a charming behavior, but I couldn't even guess a little bit about him.
He went out of the house, and immediately felt his belly was roaring. He could understand that he hadn't eaten anything since yesterday night.
"Oh, shut up, will ya?" he said to his stomach, "I'm gonna fill you up, alright!"
He started over to the Falafel shop. Some stuff was written over the title in Arabic along with the title "Akbar's Falafel".
He went inside and was greeted by the charming guy, Mr. Akbar at the booth, "You came! Blessings! What will you have?"
"Good afternoon," he also greeted him, "I'll have some roasted pork."
"Uh, I'm sorry, but we don't do that here," Akbar said, "Will you have some beef burger or chicken crispy fries?"
"Well, I'll have the beef burger then," Jake replied, "And you know what, make it double."
"On it!" Akbar started working on it, he spoke while working, "It was nice of you to help those two girls."
"Yeah, they're in trouble, and I'm doing whatever I can to help them," Jake remembered about the cow, "Speaking of which, what did you do with the cow I saw earlier?"
"Oh, that?" he answered, "I bought it for Qurbani."
"Qur-what?" Jake couldn't catch the term, "Julia said you'd do some ritual with it, offerings maybe?"
"Yeah, offerings, to my God," he answered, "It's a religious practice we have to do on each Zilhajj. It expresses our sacrificial mentality to him."
"It's a nice thing to be religious, are you an Arabian?"
"Well, no, I'm a Bangladeshi Muslim."
"Funny, I thought only the Arabians were Muslims."
"No, it's not…our brotherhood exists over the world," Akbar brought a plate with two smoking hot beef burgers on it.
"Wow, it smells so good!" water came to Jake's mouth, "I never saw such good burger in other restaurants…"
"It's made in a total halal way…" Akbar said, "Now may I ask, why you were so anxious when you entered my shop?"
"Oh, shit!" he remembered about calling Cho, "I'm sorry, just let me make this call."
He called Cho, but she didn't receive it, "C'mon woman! Pick it up!"
At tge third trial the call was received, "Yes! Who?"
"Cho?"
"Oh, you," Cho seemed disappointed that it was Jake, seemed she expected someone else.
"Why? Who did you expect?" he rushed to the main topic, "Anyway, I sensed something weird about this place, this seems so infiltrated with…"
"First, you answer, why you flee work today?"
"No time…you need to come take a look. It's Ghost lane…you'll know which house when you come," he cut the call to make her understand the gravity of the situation.
"If I may ask, what infiltrated who?" Akbar asked.
"Uh," Jake thought that Akbar will think him as a crazy guy if he says "Spirits", so instead, he said, "It's bad guys."
"Mr…?"
"It's Jake."
"Yes, Jake. I know when someone speaks the truth and when someone lies," Akbar said, "And you're currently doing the second one."
Jake understood that it was meaningless to bluff with this guy. So, he took a bite from the burger, "Well, I actually meant spirits…"
A smile extended on his face, "And you thought what? I would guess you were a madman with THAT word?"
"Well, yes…" Jake was already finished with the first burger. He started with the second.
"There are many things in this world, that are beyond our capability to explain, in front of them…just remember your God, and remember your faith and mutter His excellence before them. You will see you have the very power to erase them from your sight."
"Really?" Jake was interested, "Can you teach me some such magic sentences?"
"Well, they are not actually magic sentences, but…" he took a paper and started to write something down, " I hope this will show light even in the darkest of times."
He gave that piece of paper to Jake. Jake took it in his hand and tried to pronounciate, "Allahu La…" before he could finish, he saw a silhouette from his eye's corner.
"Hey, where's she going?" he saw that Felicity was walking out of her home and rushing to somewhere.
"That girl, she is a bit around the edge," Akbar said, "You should hurry before she does anything rash. You needn't pay me, just quickly go…"
Jake was surprised at his modesty, "You ARE an amazi…"
"Just hurry!"
"On my way!" he ran out of the restaurant. Felicity was already out of his sight, "Shit! Where's she?"
A drop of rain fell on his head, another, another. Within moments, buckets of rains started pouring from the sky.
"Great, this rippling is obstructing my view."
He started to run through the street in the direction where he saw her move a while ago. He saw a paper boy taking shelter under a shade, "Hey, boyo! You didn't happen to see a dead girl just walk up to here a bit ago?"
"Maybe, maybe not," he didn't seem to notice Jake.
"Crap, then is it the wrong way?" Jake turned back and started to walk in the opposite direction.
"Was this dead girl of yours blonde, wearing pink sweater?" the boy asked again.
Jake turned back at once, "You little brat! So, you did see her alright! Now, tell me where she went!"
"A buck would very much encourage me to describe the situation!" the boy smiled.
Jake smiled and put his hand inside of his pocket. He pulled out some coins, "Double after your words!"
His eyes shone with greed, "She went through this aisle, it ends up to the Grey Bridge. She was very depressed, going to commit suicide it seemed…"
Jake's hands went cold. He threw the coins at him, "Enjoy!" and rushed towards the bridge.
Even through the raining, he could see the velvet dress standing on the bridge's railing.
"Felicity, wait!" he screamed.
She looked at him, but didn't seem to notice him, her stare was blank, expressionless, "I have no reason for living…"
"Who said that?" he started to approach her slowly and carefully, if he rushed, she might panic and jump to her death.
"My parents are gone…" her voice was so sorrowful, "Now, my brother's gone too…"
"But you still have family," he tried to persuade her, "You have your friends, you have your creepy cousin, you have Julia, you have more families than you know…"
She seemed confused, "Do I really?"
This is the chance, he thought and he jumped up grabbing her wrist and pulling her down on the bridge.
"Uh, what are you doing?" she struggled to get free.
"Saving your sorry ass twice in a single day!" Jake replied angrily, "You think people won't care if a sorry soul as yours just disappears into nowhere? You think so little of your life? Your death isn't written for this day, so don't try to overwrite that, you hear me?"
She stared at him with a confused look.
"What I'm trying to say is…you should get up, go to your home straight and ask that creepy cousin of yours to be a MAN…start your life anew, you need to change, as your brother's not here anymore. Don't worry, there're still people who care for you. If you have any problems contact your friend Julia, she's a good friend."
She slowly got up, "I think you're right."
"Really?" he thought, I didn't believe it would work so easily!
"I will start anew from today," she looked at the horizon, the raining had stopped and the sun was about to set.
He thought of telling her about the actual incidents behind the car sabotage. But then he thought it would only make her more anxious and troubled, "Take your brother's fate normally, then you'll see that you aren't seeing these ghosts anymore…"
"Thank you very much…" she seemed to ask his name.
"It's Jake."
"Thanks, Jake," she smiled at him, "I hope our paths cross again."
She started to walk on the direction to her home. Maintaining a little distance, Jake followed her to ensure she returned safely.
When he finally ensured that she was safe, he found that it was already dark, "Shit! It's 7pm already!"
He decided to go to Julia's home to see their progress with their brat, "I'm sure they would have made him straight by now."
He stumbled on the ground before Julia's residence. A bit of soil was removed with his leg. A bad, rotten smell hit his nose.
"Whoa!" he clipped his nose with his fingers, "Did they vomit in here the whole family at once?"
He kicked the soils around to uncover the hole and this time a burned smell cane to his nose along with rotten smell.
"Eww!" he pulled out a cat's dead body from the ground. It's lower body part was completely smoldered, "So, this was the source of the Kentucky Fried Cats!"
He was about to blast in anger, whoever does that to an innocent animal doesn't deserve to become a human, he thought, they don't deserve to live.
He rang the bell, but no one opened the door. He rang it again for several times. He kicked on the door and wailed, "Julia! Joseph! Where're you? Open the goddamn door!"
But no one responded. He went to the back of the house and found that a tree just ended a branch outside of the window in Joseph's room. To directly land in the lion's den didn't seem that good an idea to him, but there was no other way.
He climbed up the tree and opened the window. Luckily, it wasn't locked. As he went inside, he could see two metallic bars, scratched with little claws. Under the bars, in the middle space of them was a Bunsen burner. He understood what that little devil has played. He had placed the cat's paws on the bars so that it can barely stay and have to struggle to keep in that position as the burner's fire is directly lit under it's belly. One could stay for a maximum of 5 minutes in this position. Then…INCINERATION.
That bastard! Jake grinded his teeth together, If I get my hands on him!
He went down to the ground floor. As he advanced to the living room, he started feeling an eerie sensation in his neck, like he'd see something bad if he gets inside.
He stepped foot inside the room and saw Julia, her mom and dad on the sofa, unconscious and tied down.
"Julia! What ha…" before he could finish, something heavy hit him on the back of his head. He couldn't keep balance and fell down, before losing his sense, he could see Joseph hold a baseball bat in one hand and a glass of champagne in another, saying, "Cheers!"
***
"Hey, wake up!" Jake felt mild slaps on his face, it was Joseph, "Look at me, look at…me! It's not over yet!"
He started walking over to Julia, who was still unconscious. But her mom and dad were awake, and looking angrily at Joseph, "Oo…looks like her doze was a bit strong!"
"Joseph, what the hell's going on?" his dad asked.
"Look, honey!" his mom said, "I'm sure it's just a birthday prank you've planned," Joseph didn't seem to listen to her, he was busy lighting some candles and turning off the lights. She continued, "I'm sure there are cameras hidden in the corners and this'll all be over in a while."
"Oh, so it's your birthday?" Jake laughed, That silver-tongued devil! "But I didn't see any cat-fry on your birthday party dish menu!"
"That was just to pass my boredom!" he spoke with no change in expressions.
Jake looked at Julia, she was twisting her face.
"Oh, you've finally woke up," Joseph smiled, "Last year's birthday was the best one I ever had. You know why?"
"Why?" Julia asked, her eyes still half-shut due to the pill's effect, "Cause I gave you the toy car?"
"No, because of the incident that followed, which helped me discover my true self," Joseph continued, "I was playing with Alex with the car, he drove it more skillfully than mine. I was feeling jealous, but couldn't say anything. I always respected people with more skill than me. Then he accidentally jumped it out of the window and it got stuck on a tree branch. I told him, HE did it and HE will have to retrieve it. So, he was forced to do. You must have seen, I have a WAY to persuade people to do my biddings…so, he was almost about to reach it, then I screamed. Startled by it, he fell down, getting impaled in a broken tree in the meantime. THAT…incident, helped me realize something."
He took the bat and poked Jake's head with it, right where he hit it a while ago, "Inflicting pain to others gives me mental pleasure. Sort of a sadist actually."
"And the car accident?" Julia asked angrily, "It was also your doing right?"
"Yep," he admitted it, "Some days ago, those punks, Matt, Kevin, Christoph and Ben, they had a quarrel with me, for a thing that I didn't even do…they humiliated me in front of the whole school. They also told me they won't allow me in their party. I got crazy. So, I cut off their brake wire. And look what it did…It brought them straight God's doors…!" He laughed like a maniac.
Jake and all others looked at him with a fearful glance. Jake dealt with supernatural creatures before, but THIS was completely out of his league.
"So, what about their families?" Jake started in a different tone, "You surely succeeded in hurting them. But their families, they didn't do anything wrong. Did they deserve such a fate?"
"Family?" he said, "I only know about Matt, don't know nothing'bout the rest of them."
"Felicity already had a bit problem with her head," he continued, "Up here," he knocked on his head, "I simply had to spark it a bit with some Halloween costumes and that did it. She only belongs to an asylum right now."
"You're wrong," Jake said, "Felicity is a strong and able woman. And she knows about our little meeting here, I told her…if we don't break up within half an hour, she'll call the police," he bluffed.
"Ooh, then sorry for you," Joseph looked at the watch, it was 7.40. He looked at them, "It's already more than half an hour, looked like your witch forgot to call'em up!"
"Let's see what type of witch I am!" a screaming sound made Jake look at the stair. It was Felicity who crouched up om them. She jumped on Joseph and grabbed his throat, "I'll kill you for what you did to my brother!"
She started to choke him. Jake was happy to see she was winning, but then he saw that Joseph had held a champagne bottle in his hand.
"Felicity, watch out!" Jake wailed, but she was too late, the hand with the bottle hit her on the head. The bottle smashed and she fell down on the side.
"Kill me?" Joseph whimpered and stood up, soaked in champagne, "You couldn't even kill yourself!"
Suddenly the candle went off. And the lights started to turn on and off rapidly.
"Is this another trick you had up your sleeves?" Joseph asked viciously.
"No, it's not," Jake murmured.
Suddenly the light totally went off. Joseph lit a match stick and looked at them.
"Joseph, watch out!" Julia screamed in fear.
A face popped up beside Joseph's head and screamed in very high pitch. Joseph jumped in scare, "Who's there?" he pointed the match stick in different directions to see who made the noise, but he saw none.
"You…think…you…sent us…away?" a whizzing voice spoke very closely.
"Who's it?" Joseph said in a scared voice.
"But we…will…always…be….here…" the voice spoke again. And a spectral figure, claws extended, rushed towards Joseph wailing. Out of fear, Joseph stepped back and pushed the candles down from the table. They immediately caught fire in the alcohol soaked dress of Joseph. Emblazed by fire, he didn't see where he was going. He kept screaming and broke through the window. A sharp sound, and the screaming was turned off.
Immediately the door was kicked open. Jake looked there and saw Cho standing with a torch.
"About time you came," he said in angry voice.
"What happened?" she asked.
"A lot," Jake said, "You missed the fun. But more importantly, untie us now."
After untying everyone, they went to the window, finding the body of Joseph, impaled in a broken tree, still as one and a pond of blood under his feet.
"It's very unfortunate," his mother spoke, "How the boy turned out to be a mass murderer."
"Anyway, God does everything for our best," his father held both Julia and her mother, "I think this is time for us to start anew."
"Very impressive," Cho exclaimed, "I sense spirits air. You deal them without amulet. You surpass my expectations."
"And another reason why I should learn to use these amulets," Jake showed reason. Without these amulets he was feeling empty.
"You're right," she said, "Let go, you learn use amulets."
"At last," Jake sighed, then looked again at the body of Joseph, "It is painful to see how one turns out to be such sweet but psycho."
