The night was illuminated by countless stars. Even the dungeons had day and night. Even dungeons had a star like the Pole star called Heavenly star but it was in the South direction, unlike the Pole star. Two figures could be seen swiftly approaching the smaller monster tent in the west direction. They were Angelina and Cortis. As they reached the tent Cortis silently killed the 6 minions who were standing on guard by stabbing their necks so they couldn't make any sounds and then took out a poison gas bomb made from the poison of the rank D Poison flower herb. He then put on a mask and went inside the tent while Angelina stayed outside to ensure no monster escaped.
" Why is Angelina staying outside shouldn't she and Cortis work together to kill the monsters in the tent as soon as possible so they don't alert other monsters ?" asked Trevor as he watched through binoculars. He was hiding with Lea about 200m from the settlement.
"You are right but Angelina is our main tank in the fight against the boss monster so she is saving her mana for the boss fight. Cortis specialized in such assassinations so he should take care of this while we should conserve our energy for the main fight. If any emergency occurs I will help Cortis instead of Angelina." said Lea. Trevor stayed silent while watching the tents.
Inside the tent, there were around 40 minions sleeping. Cortis slipped the poison gas bomb before entering the tent and then entered the tent and closed the entrance so that the gas doesn't escape and stood still. As the white poison gas filled the tent, the visibility inside went down to zero but Cortis could still see clearly due to his C rank skill Eagle eyes.
The poison gas started choking the minions so they quickly woke up and tried to alert others but they couldn't scream due to the gas so they rushed to get out of the tent. Cortis stood at the entrance holding daggers and wearing a pitch black outfit while his eyes glowed green due to the activation of Eagle eyes skill. The minions couldn't see properly and couldn't breathe so they were butchered by Cortis who killed every minion with a single precise strike.
Angelina was standing outside for about half an hour and could hear squeaks from the tent. She then saw Cortis coming out of the tent, he didn't have a drop of blood on his clothes but his daggers were dripping blood even Angelina was scared by his appearance for a moment.
"Let's move on to the next tent," said Cortis
Angelina regained her focus and nodded. She then waved her hands in the direction of Trevor and Lea as she and Cortis headed towards the south tent. Trevor and Lea headed towards the west tent that Cortis just cleared because there was a range limitation to her buffs.
Suddenly Trevor was startled as he saw many rays of light flying toward him.

> You have received a fate fragment.
Trevor was astonished as he had never heard of something called fate fragment. He wanted to ask Lea about it but decided against it. He then took a deep breath to calm down and checked his status.

There was no change in his stats except now it showed the number of Fate fragments collected. Trevor tried to think of a reason for receiving fate fragments. It was possible that he was receiving them because they were present in this location and were invisible but he received them due to his title. Trevor felt that there was some kind of connection between rays of light and the killing of minions as he only saw the rays when he came close to the west tent where Cortis had slaughtered the minions. But Trevor couldn't be sure of anything yet and decided to research fate fragments once the party cleared the dungeon.
