Chapter 9
~LILY'S POV~
Wow I have to say their garden is amazing and so big! There's so many flowers in all sorts of different shapes and sizes and not to mention their bright colors.
A total shock if you ask me from these vampires kings.
"It's beautiful, right ?" Han
I nod in amazement completely caught of guard by the beauty Infront of me.
"Who takes care of all these flowers?"
"That my dear, would be me." Jin
He points at himself with such pride with his other hand behind his back. There was a series of scoffs from the other vampires.
" You are so cool. I really like flowers."
I tried my best not to smile because that would give them some other kind of hope but commenting you're friend's work is not wrong, right?
"Jin you have help. Plus we do it sometimes too so it's not all your doings." Ruel
Jin now scoffs and walks further down the path, more closer to the flowers that were down hill.
"Well I do most of it." Jin
"Whatever." Ruel
"Hey let's play a game!" Ren
Thus caught my attention. Thus could be good!
"What game?"
"Tag!" Ren
He slapped a hand to my arm which surprised me that didn't hurt me but I burst in laughter as everyone even Newt and Luke ran off.
"Hey that's not fair! I'm the human here!"
"Okay okay.Guys I think we should just use our normal speed, since our little human here can't keep up." Damon
He tickled my chin and I tried to take the chance to tag hum but he was too fast to run away. He laughed and ran down the hill.
"Oi! That wasn't your normal speed you cheater!"
He laughed even more and even some more laughter came from them around me in different directions.
I wanted to run down the hill but I have a bad habbit of falling my way down instead so I'm gonna roll!
Laying down and crossing my arms across my chest I rolled myself down the hill but smiled to myself when I heard someone shout my name.
Once at the bottom and started to stand up but then a stretched out hand help me up and it was one of the Kings I was very surprised to see.
"Are you okay?" Newt
He spoke in soft tone. Why can't he always talk like that?
I nodded and looked up to smile at him for the first time.
"Thank you Newt."
He flashed me a cute smile that resembled a bunny.
"You know you should smile more."
He laughed at my comment but while he was distracted I took the chance to slap my hand to his chest and laugh my head off.
"TAG! You are it!"
He stepped back in shock with his mouth hanging open while I took the chance to run for my life in the opposite direction.
"NEWT'S IT!"
I shouted at the top off my lungs. Another series of laughter erupted.
"Oh Newt she got you good!" Ren
"You fell for it!" Jin
I quickly turned to see Newt and his expression was quickly wiped off with a playful grin to then throw his head back to laugh.
I then squealed when he took off running towards me, excitement growing inside myself. But then yelled again when someone grabbed me from behind a tree and held their over my mouth.
I was scared at first but then only found Han pressing his finger to his lips to shush me. I nodded at him understanding and he removed his hand.
Soon enough Newt came speeding past and Damon was heard squealing next. I burst out laughing but held it in case he heard me.
Han's eyes were on me ,watching me with something I couldn't quite describe. His eyes travelled from eyes to my lips and then down to my neck causing me to gulp out of nerves.
He looked away and stood back, now scratching the back of his neck.
"We should move before he comes back." Han
I nodded again and he took my hand to lead me back down the path as we ran. He must of been running much slowly to which he usually does since I managed to keep up with him.
"TAG! RUEL'S IT!" Newt
"OH COME ON!" Ruel
I was in fits of laughter. From what happened yesterday with them I never expected to actually have fun with them, nevermind to see them all act like kids despite their well known reputation.
Han's hand was still in mine but I heard a familiar voice behind a tree and I stopped since it caught my attention.
"Lily we need to keep moving, Ruel will find us." Han
He tugged on my hand but I pulled away to walk towards the tree. It was two familiar voices , they were whispering so I couldn't make out the words.
Han roughly grabbed my hand again with red eyes and practically hissed in the direction of the voices.
"What's wrong?" Jin
He now popped up out of nowhere.
"Lily, we need to leave." Han
Jin's eyes sparked red and he too now hissed in the direction of that tree.
"That fucker." Jin
He gritted his teeth together.
"I'm gonna kill him."
I gulped upon seeing Newt in killer mode. He was paler, veins popping out his skin, eyes red and fangs out as he licked them with his tongue. He was very very much on edge.
Ruel jumped on him just as Newt was about to move and I pressed myself into Han.
" THAT MOTHER FUCKER!! I'LL KILL HIM!" Newt
He boomed and again the earth beneath us shook. I grabbed tighter onto Han just as Ren and Damon now jumped on to Newt to hold him still. Luke however walked over like nothing was happening with his hands in his pockets.
Alice all of a sudden ran out from behind the tree and up the path from site. Where's Joy and Aiden? They three were supposed to hangout as she told me.
Then Aiden popped his head from around the tree trunk and plastered a smile when his eyes landed on me. I wanted to walk to him but Han refused to let go of my arms.
"Oh hi Lily. I thought you were supposed to spending the day with the Kings." Aiden
I nodded and smiled at him.
"I am. See."
I pointed at them and Aiden lost his smile when he noticed Han's hands on my waist.
"What are you doing?Why have you got your arms around her?" Aiden
"Excuse you!" Jin
Oh shit! No no no I don't want to get it ruined. What if they get to know that I lied to them of having a boyfriend? I have to do something. It shouldn't come out just yet.
"Is that how you treat your girlfriend?" Luke
Damnit!
He now stood in front of me in between me and Aiden. I don't see what's the bug deal is, he's done nothing wrong.
"AHHHHHH! LET ME AT HIM! JUST ONE!" Newt
He started struggling again.
"Guys take him to the basement! He needs to cool off!" Han
"NO NO!" Newt
They started pulling him away further up the path, lifting him off his feet. Even Jin had to intervene and help.
"HOW DARE HE!! HE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT HE'S GOT!!" Newt
His voice may of scared me with his shouting but I could help but fell bad with his voice cracked when he shouted the word GOT. Not only did he sound pissed as hell but he genuinely sounded really broken which could be why he acted the way he did. He must have emotional issues.
Now I'm just left with Han, Luke and Aiden who happen to be having a stare off with my fake boyfriend who seems brave enough to even hold the stare with Luke. I couldn't do it, it's so powerful and intense.
I don't want any harm to came to Aiden as now he already knows the fact of boyfriend now I guess and he doesn't know that the Kings have me as their mate. So I needed Aiden to walk away even though I know he's done nothing wrong.
"Aiden, just go find Joy and Alice. I'll see you later on okay?"
"Yes AIDEN,Go find your friends if you know what's good for you." Luke
He balled his fists up, still staring at Aiden. Aiden now looked at me but I begged him with my eyes to just go that I'll explain him later.
He nodded and sighed heavily, brushing his fingers through his hairs and then leaving without saying a word.
A wave of relieved washed over me as he disappeared further into the garden.Thank God.
Luke turned back around to face me which made me flinch to how fast he did that. He stared right into my soul, with no expression before shaking his head and putting his hands back into his pockets and walking off leaving me alone with Han.
"We better go inside. They'll be serving lunch soon." Han
He took my hand again and walked me back inside the castle.
A perfect afternoon ruined for some unknown reason.Newt was actually loosening up today but for some reason he wanted to kill Aiden and I have a feeling so did the rest of them but they have better control over their emotions.
What's their problem with me having a boyfriend?
