A tasteless joke by his friend, telling him to show off on camera set things in motion.

She had told her mum that she had a boyfriend. She had been so ecstatic and didn't even hear the rest. She had gone on and on in her own world. Talking about how she was younger when she had met her dad. She hadn't even heard the name. She was just too happy and already making plans. She just twirled her smoothie with the silly straw as she waited for the air in her mother's lungs to get exhausted.

"…we should tell your dad, plan a dinner or a meeting. Who are his parents? What do they do?"

"I think you might have met them before. Thomas and Candice Cameron. That shark lawyer".

"Oh-yeah. I remember meeting them in passing".

'No you don't' she thought. She wasn't sure her mum remembered any one of her crew's parents. How could she when she was always travelling? She was never here.

"Yeah you might have. We always met up at parties…"

"Hmhm" she slurped on her smoothie.
