Chapter 8

Natsu felt lucy wake up as he was halfways to her apartment, she didn't look at him as she kept silent the whole way. Natsu understood, so he respected her silence with a silence of his own.

He arrived at her door now as she tried to get off from his princess carry, but only got scared as he kicked her door open. Was he mad?

He proceeded to go straight to her bedroom as he kicked the door close on his way inside. She placed her carefully on the bed as he sat went into the kitchen to drag in a chair into her bedroom. He turned it around as he sat on it backwards and looked at her now.

*lucy refused to speak to him yet, not because she was still upset with him.. because it was awkward and embarrassing for her to be saved by him from her failure of a plan… what was she thinking?!?*

Lucy turned away from him as she decided the birds outside her window were so beautiful and interesting to look at.

"Luce…"

*lucy flinched as she heard his gruff voice call out to her… she didn't know what he was going to say but sure as hell was she going to let him find out she had set this all up to get back at him… it was to embarrassing!!!*

"Lucy…"

*Natsu furrowed his brows now as his patience was running thin, was she seriously still going to give him that bullshit of a silent treatment he's been getting all week?? Even after almost getting molested, was she really that stubborn on keeping quiet and ignoring him??!?*

Lucy felt a pair of holes burning into the back of her head as she kept looking outside thinking of a way to start the conversation. Should she say thank you??? Or I'm sorry?… how about a 'thanks buddy?!?'

"LUCY HEARTIFILLIA LOOK AT ME!!"

*finally natsu exploded as lucy jumped at his sudden yell as she looked at him with tearful eyes. He suddenly felt more guilty for yelling at her as he was going to apologize but lucy began speaking before he could.*

"Your such a mean person natsu!! Why are you avoiding me!!! *hic hic* you big jerk!!"

*oh geez… here we go.. lucy facepalmed herself internally as the first words she spoke were insults instead of gratitude… way to go lucy, might as well tell natsu how much you hate him while your at it..*

"L-luce?… where is all this coming from???… I'm lost…"

*natsu was so confused as to why he was the jerk, when clearly she was acting more like the jerk. She had been ignoring him! And avoiding him! Was this just another of her weird episodes?*

"Yeah your so mean!! You began to avoid me after we began to get intimate after 'that' morning!!! Was I not good enough?!? *hic hic* you didn't even let yourself finish either!!! Am I really someone you care about natsu or am I another girl you sleep with like that jerk who almost molested me?!?"

*and there it was… natsu felt overwhelmed by the sudden topic but he remained calm as he knew not everything lucy says on a daily basis, especially when she's mad, is true. He thought about what she said about their 'morning' and how he didn't think she was good enough???… and he was a jerk like that basterd!?? Ha! Please, lucy is pulling on his leg now right?*

"Lucy.. are you done?"

*natsu asked as lucy tried stopping her tears but didn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. She nodded as she waited for natsu to talk now.*

Natsu didn't like lucy to cry, much less because it was for something dumb or something that affected her emotions personally. He got up to go bring her a handkerchief to wipe her tears and blow her nose. After she seemed to calm down he began.

"Look luce.. I don't know what the whole 'morning' thing is but I want to ask you one thing first before we talk about that… WHY ARE YOU IGNORING ME!?!?? You say I ignored and avoided you but you did the same thing to me and for a whole ass week!!! Tell me why are you being like this!!"

*natsu failed to remain calm as he just agitated things more with lucy. Lucy began to feel the weight of his words weight on her chest as he continued until she couldn't hold it anymore.*

"BECAUSE YOU WOULDNT SLEEP WITH ME NATSU!!! THATS WHY I STOPPED TALKING TO YOU, YOU BEGAN SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR OR WOULDNT TOUCH ME AFTER THAT 'MORNING'!!"

*lucy panted as she used up all the air in her lungs as she waited and looked at natsu now.. he was shocked at what she said and also a bit pissed off that she had gone to extreme measures because he would sleep with her on the bed.. sure he stopped sleeping together with her, but that's because he didn't want a repeat of that morning and he knew he wouldn't be able to control his… ohhhh …*

Natsu finally got the message that she had been trying to tell him, he had been neglecting her not only with satisfying her love but… their new urges they had 'that' morning… did she really think she had no power over him or couldn't satisfy him to finish?? Was that really what she was upset about?

Natsu wanted to test his theory now, so before he could ask her he stood up and made his way to her bed as he sat close to her and leaned his face close to hers. He studied her eyes as they dilated and her cheeks grew a very pretty pink pigmentation to them. He smiled weakly as he scoffed…

'Wow luce, you keep amazing me at how far your willing to drive me mad for you…'

*natsu thought as he grabbed Lucy's face with his hands and gave her a deep and passionate kiss on the lips. She tried resisting and pushing him away but soon melted into his kiss as pushes became soft grops at his vest and arms.*

After what seemed like a long kiss, natsu's lips released Lucy's as a string of their drool kept them connected. They both panted as they quickly breathed in the list of oxygen they forgot to breath in as natsu began speaking.

"… I'm.. sorry lucy… it's my first time ever touching a girl… I don't want to hurt you so I wanted to take things slow from the beginning.. but that morning showed me how little control I have over myself when i began to feel you touch me *cough cough* in certain parts.. my point is … I'm inexperienced and I don't want to screw up while we try to do 'it' for the first time… that's why I have been avoiding the topic or touching you in areas that would make my blood boil…"

*natsus looked away now as he covered his face that had begun to blush with his scarf. Lucy chuckled now at how cute he seemed when he was embarrassed about something. She touched his face as she pinched his nose and brought him closer to her.*

"You know natsu… I'm a virgin too right?… and that's why theirs conversation so we can tell each other what we like and don't like as we 'explore' what we feel comfortable with. I don't mind slowing down natsu, but don't just decide that on your own for the both of us… I love you natsu, but you really are an idiot."

*natsu couldn't hold a laugh now as he and lucy both bursted into a laughing fit. After a few minutes natsu finally stopped laughing as he saw lucy coming to a end of her laughter too.*

"Yeah right, I'm the idiot for trying to be a gentleman and taking things slow. While you literally stopped talking to me, instead of trying to talk things through with me. Yup I'm the idiot…"

"Hey! I did try talking to you about it! But you always tried avoiding the subject!"

*natsu felt guilty again… but suddenly he got an idea.*

"Well then, next time…"

*natsu quickly moved from his chair as he grabbed lucy from her hips as he flipped himself onto the bed while she straddled him. She blushed at the sudden position but, natsu laughed as it was all fun in games right now.*

"Do this, pin me down before you say anything and make sure I'm under you. I will stay and listen then if I act like a 'idiot' again… I love you lucy.. and I don't want to see you hurt again…"

*natus looked away as he thought maybe he could have prevented this whole fight if he would have just tried hearing her out. But he was tooken out of his thoughts as he felt his face grabbed and kissed now as lucy gave him a passionate quick kiss.*

"I love you too natsu … don't worry, I'll make sure to kick your butt if you act dumb again.."

Lucy smiled as natsu grinned widely. They had finally made up and where back to where they used to be
