Natsu let go of Lucy as he cupped his cheek…

Lucy panted as she gave him the most hatred glare she could muster..

Natsu realized now that he had lost her. He lost his chance to win her back, together with the friendship they first had. What had he done?

"You have no right to kiss me!! Whatever we were before is gone!! Understand that Natsu!! We are over!!"

*lucy panted as she felt a cold wind brush against her back and shoulders. Natsu felt tears fill his eyes but looked away as he refused to show lucy his feelings anymore.*

He looked at the horizon where the sun once was as night over took them.. he sighed as he knew he blew it… he wiped his tears now as he turned back to lucy who was cold and beginning to turn a shade of blue.

"… here.. wear this, you can give it to me after I walk you home.. after that.. I promise to stop trying… I'll disappear from your life.."

*natsu said in a sad tone as he wrapped his scarf around lucys neck… lucy felt much better after feeling the warm scarf warm her up but only looked down as she didn't wish to no longer see his face.*

The two walked down the mountain as natsu helped lucy down from big cliffs at times. They walked through the crowd as couples from left to right surrounded natsus and Lucy.

Lucy finally arrived at her apartment as she took off natsus scarf to hand it back to him..

"… keep it.. I'll come for it at the end of the week… I still have to take all my clothes and stuff we gathered together that reminds you of me… so just leave it somewhere I can see it.. goodbye luce.."

"Goodbye natsu… I hope you find someone else who can help you.."

*lucy said coldly as natsu looked at her straight in the eyes*

"I already have found her… but she has forgotten me.. so I must obey her wishes to see her smile again… bye.."

*natsu turned his back on Lucy now as he walked away with his hands in his pockets.*

It was almost the last day of the week as Lucy decided to pack all of 'natsus' things for him to just pick up and go.

She didn't want him wandering around looking through her things so she just decided to do the labor for him. She began with grabbing some of his clothes he had left behind to change into in a box labeled 'natsus things'. She kept filling up the box with Knick knacks she didn't know were they as she tossed them carelessly into the box. She came to one specific item that was a rock, she grinned a frustrated smile as she couldn't believe she did date a guy who had given her a rock as a gift.

She suddenly heard a song play from outside as she decided to look out her window to hear the song clearer.

Lucy couldn't help to smile at the singer below who had decided to sing for a group of people below.

Lucy began to think back to what natsu had done those last few weeks, she giggled at how stupid he was sometimes dropping ketchup over himself. He really was a clutz when he was trying so hard to show off infront of her..

…And I'll thank my lucky stars for that night 🎼

Lucy blushed at how embarrassing it was for him recounting to her about their 'first night'. She looked at the crowd getting bigger as the man below kept singing, something in her heart felt warm as she continued to listen.

Lucy felt a tear fall from her eye as she touched her cheek. She was crying now as she began remembering what he had done to her a week ago that night, he had grown so desperate that he had forcefully kissed her.. she felt hurt for being violently shaken up… but somehow she liked their kiss.

Finally, Lucy looked back the scarf that she had placed on the table as it still was there folded neatly. She ran to the scarf as she smelled the scarf, it smelled like the cinnamon burned oak she enjoyed from before. She realized now she had loved him so much as she felt her heart ache for him.

She cried into his scarf remember the things he told him. She whimpered on the floor as her head began to hurt, she held her hair as she began remembering what all those Knick knacks were. She began to cry harder as she remembered all her moments she shared with him, why had she given up on their love so easily?

Lucy then snapped out of it as she realized what he had said yesterday..

She grabbed his scarf as she left her door wide open as she sprinted downstairs to find natsu.

Lucy panted as she ran out of breath looking for natsu. She didn't quite remember where he lived or where the guild was again, some of her memories of him were still hazy but she could begin remembering the parts of him and her. She ran and ran and ran looking for a pink hair salamander…

She felt hopeless as she couldn't find him. Had she been too late? She sank into her knees as she cried into the scarf she had left of him. She wanted to apologize and kiss him as many times as she could..

Suddenly she saw a man with a black vest walk through the crowd as she caught her eyes on his pink hair. She got up now as she ran to the person, she saw it was natsu who had some backpack on him as he was preparing to leave a day earlier then he was told. With all her might she screamed her lungs out until he heard her..

"NATSU!!!"

Natsu thought he was hearing things, he grimaced more at how sick he was.. he couldn't even forget the sound of her voice. He looked at the signs infront of him that pointed to the train station.

'At least I will forget about Lucy while I'm on the train..'

*natsu said to himself as he began walking in the directions of the trains.*

Lucy looked in the directions he went as she saw he was getting on a train now.. she decided to take off her heels as she threw them.. she ran to natsu as he hesitated to ride his worst nightmare.

"NATSU DONT LEAVE ME!!"

*lucy cried out as she saw natsu finally turn around*

Natsu turned around as he saw Lucy running barefooted twords him at a alarming rate.

"Lucy?!?"

He was tackled down as lucy made a scene infront of the train station. Natsu blushed as he felt lucy wrap her legs around his waist and pinned him down.

"HOW DARE YOU LEAVE ME?!? HOW COULD YOU LEAVE ONEDAY EARLIER THEN WHAT YOU PROMISED?!?"

"@.@ i-im sorry lucy… I just couldn't stop thinking about you.. I thought it was better to leave .."

*natsu tried getting up but felt lucy slam him back down as she cried tears onto his face.*

"N-natsu?! *hic hic* I'm sorry! I'm so sorry for saying those mean things to you!! I'm sorry for not trying to remember you!! Please.. don't leave me!!"

"Okay okay!! Just Lucy!! Get off me!"

"No!! I'm not going to let you go anymore!! I promise to love you till we are old!! Natsu Dragneel marry me!!"

*natsu blushed hotter the a habanero pepper as he saw old ladies and other people begin to form around them. Also.. did he just get proposed to?!?*

"Answer the lady already young man! Are you going to marry her or no! Yeah! What are you waiting for!?!"

*the people began chanting as natsu was embarrassed for the first time in his life… he looked at Lucy as he cupped her face.*

"Of course I'll marry you.. Lucy your my everything… even if you pushed me away, I would never bring myself to move on or love another… I love you lucy.."

*natsu closed their distance as he brought Lucy down to kiss him. The crowd cheered in a uproar as they celebrated the couples engagement. They also missed their train as it departed the station… but it was all worth it.*
