GODS BE PRAISED

It's been two months since I last heard from the castle. Two months since I've had my peace and quiet and been living peacefully with my mother in the mountains. Ever since Ivan and Kiran found me at the moon cave I knew if I was going to need my space, I couldn't stay at the moon cave. Ivan would just find me and plead with me to return back to him in the castle. I knew I couldn't because I knew I would forgive him. And gods, I...I didn't want to but that doesn't seem to stop me from missing him though.

Even though what he did to me was wrong, wicked and the most selfish choice one could ever make, I still missed Ivan. I haven't been away from him this long. I haven't been away from the castle this long too.

"Thinking of home I see?"

I looked up to see my mother entering our tiny little cottage up in the mountains. She was carrying a knapsack which had some flowers sticking out of it.
