CELEBRATING THE FIRE GODDESS II

Convincing Tag'arkh was no easy task. It took a lot of pleading and few briberies to get Tag'arkh to come to my rom where Madame Cordelia and her assistants were busy waiting for her. Tag'arkh had glared at me but I shut the door and instead shoved her to the chair in front of the mirror. I mumbled a quick prayer to the gods above that there will be no blood shed, because Tag'arkh looked as if she was ready to commit murder, well she was purposely glaring at Madame Cordelia who was busy inspecting Tag'arkh's hair with a look of disgust on her face.

Dear gods above, please allow Tag'arkh to stay still and not commit any murder! I pleaded silently.

"Oh, I'm afraid that prayer of yours won't be answered Arianne because I am this close to burning everything inside this room!" Tag'arkh glared at me from the mirror.

I chuckled nervously at the two assistants who had gone pale with fear. "She doesn't mean that." I answered with a shake of my head.
