NOT YOUR MOTHER

ARIANNE POV

Ivan bathed me, caring for me as he washed me. He handled me like I was a delicate flower, fragile, as if I might break anytime and maybe in a way, I actually might. I was definitely glad that he decided to stand by me, after what happened I wasn't sure that I could take being alone. I don't think I ever want to stay alone anymore. I could see the question swimming in Ivan's eyes as he washed me, I could tell that he was holding back from asking me, afraid of upsetting me.

I wasn't about to hold back this time around. I was going to tell him but not now, not today. I'm also suspecting that he knows something, it's there in his gaze that were filled with pity and also the way he washes me feels like it was a silent apology. It was like I said though, not today but we were definitely going to have that conversation.
