NOT MUCH DAMAGE

ARIANNE POV

I stumbled through the darkness, my heart pounding in my chest as I clutched onto my Tag'arkh's hand tightly. We had been running for what felt like days, the never-ending darkness enveloping us in its suffocating embrace. We couldn't see anything, couldn't even tell if we were moving in the right direction.

But we had to keep going. We had to find a way out of this nightmare. As we continued to navigate through the darkness, I could feel the cut on my body starting to get more painful. I could feel the warm stickiness of blood seeping through my clothes, a constant reminder of the pain that throbbed with every step.

I tried to ignore it, to push through the fear that gnawed at the edges of my mind. But as we ran, the worry grew, festering like a dark cloud over my thoughts. What if it wasn't healing at all? What if it was getting worse?
