Loisa Satee was born yet people were unhappy because of it. As she grow old, she realize no one was willing to love her even just a small amount of it. No one was willing to give her anything. But as she finally became an adult, the emperor, her father, made a deal with her. A deal in exchange for her leaving the palace. Even though Loisa did not like the idea of leaving, she knew she had no choice, so she decided to marry the Duke of Bastion, who is powerful and popular. She liked him a lot and the emperor agreed to that condition. And so they both get married but the duke ignored her and gave her a cold shoulder. Loisa doesn't like it and frowned didn't know she will die in a few years. And so she died by an arrow pierced unto her heart. But she was surprised that she was awake and not dead. So she promises she will live this life for herself this time. Will she be able to find her happiness?

In the Next Life, I Will Live For Myself

The pain of being shot by an arrow clearly towards her heart, hurt her so much. it was very painful and she was scared but for a second she saw her husband caring for her but it was her last breath.


But she was confused when the next thing she opened her eyes once more, She was younger than the day she was dead. She touched her face and took a mirror from her drawer. As she saw herself as younger than she thought she would be.


She shouted confusingly about what was happening. It made her think "was this all a dream? or was that day a dream?"


So loisa stands up and moves around her bed and jumps a lot of times. She also tried to pinch her face and her body thinking it must have been just a dream but no it was not a dream as soon as she feels pain when she pinches her cheeks. It made loisa surprised and confused that this was all true. 


while looking at her figure and face in the mirror her maids knock at the door and Loisa lets them in.


Her maids entered with a long slim dress that was filled with shining jewels and a sandal that was full of expensive gems. It made loisa realize it was the day of her birthday. 


Learning that it was her birthday she falls to the floor and laughs as she finally accepted that this was all not a dream. It might be her second life and she was now willing to live for herself's happiness and not for anyone else.


She continued to laugh but the maid was a bit confused about why she was laughing so loud.


"Are you okay mada-" said the head maid Julia who hasn't finished her sentence because Loisa hugs the maids and runs towards the duke's office. The maids were very happy to see her energetic. And Loisa was happy she was alive.


After a few runs, she finally arrived at the duke's office. She wipes her sweat with her handkerchief and entered with a smile. The duke saw her and greeted her with "Happy Birthday"


Loisa thank him but it was a bit weird to her since he also said that in her first life. It was really weird for her to hear the same thing on the same day.


Loisa stared at him even though she wanted to tell him about something. But she was a bit scared and starts to shake that he might get angry even though the duke really never get mad at her in her past life. she thought that if ever she made the duke unhappy he might throw her away. 


The duke told her to sit and so she sits in front of him, The duke smiled at her and continued to work as he did on the same day in her past life. But Loisa gathered her courage and told the duke "I want a gift."


The duke puts his pen down and stared at loisa who was shaking nervously and so the duke smiled and asked: "What gift would you like?"
