Chapter 7 "Elio"

"Does that mean I am attracted to him!!"

My eyes widened in shock..

I shake my head a few times and collect my thoughts..

"No this can't be true.. I just met him today and he is just a kid.. how can I feel attracted to him? Maybe it's just a sisterly like.. yes yes.. that's right.. it's just sisterly affection that I felt for the first time.. because he's taking care of me..

Yes.. that must be the case.. haha.. I was just overthinking things.. it's only because I never had a brother or sister till now, so, I never knew how I felt..

And he also said that he was my 'brother' technically.. so yeah.. phew" I let out a sigh of relief after the issue was finally resolved..

I looked at the time, it was only 3:12 pm.. I put aside my phone and closed my eyes..

'Why am I feeling so sleepy today? Maybe because I woke up early.. and where did Noah go? He was going to bring me soup.. I guess he forgot.. he's just a kid after all.. how can I expect so much from him.. forget it.. I'll make it myself after I wake up from my nap..'

"knock knock"

Just as I was thinking about him, I heard a knock on my door..

"Come in.." I kept my eyes closed, because I knew there was only one person who could at my door in this house right now..

The door opened and I heard something walking inside with heavy steps.. My eyes opened in an instant when I heard the voice of a grown man.. "Miss.."

I turned to look at the man who stood there holding a tray.. he was wearing a butler suit that mostly butlers wore in the tv shows.. He was a good looking man.. I felt a little embarrassed, so, I sat up abruptly..

I smiled at him and asked him in a soft voice.. "May I know who you are?"

He smiled and said "My name is Elio Amato.. You can just call me Elio, just like how Master Noah does.. and It's very nice to meet you Miss Da-eun.."

'So he's the one that Noah was talking about.. He'll be in charge of our food from now on..'

"It's nice to meet you too Elio.. I see that you have something in your hand.. is that for me?" I said, while feeling a little awkward continuing the conversation.. So, I stated the obvious..

And surely he said, finally remembering what he was here for.. "My apologies.. I made you wait for your soup.. here.. have this while it's still hot.. you'll feel better.."

He apologized and placed the soup on the bedside table "I'll be taking my leave then.. please enjoy the soup.."

"Thank you for the soup Elio.." I thanked him.. watched him leaving and closing the door after him..

As soon as he left I let out a sigh that I didn't know I was holding.. I placed the tray on the bed in front of me, picked up the spoon and tasted it.. "Mmm" it felt good to have some hot soup..

I quickly finished it and went downstairs to put the bowl back.. I saw Noah talking to Elio in a low voice.. I couldn't hear what they were talking about.. but by the looks on their faces, It looked like Noah was talking about something serious and Elio just kept nodding his head..

After watching them for a few more seconds, I stopped looking at them and went back to my room.. the rest of the day went by pretty quickly.. we ate dinner at eight.. Elio made a delicious meal..

After so many days I had a meal like that.. If was so good, that I overate and couldn't even lay down for a long time.. I kept walking around in my room for quite some time.. only after that I was able to sleep..

"Ting-ting… ting-ting.."

I woke up to the sound of my alarm.. I sat up and turned the alarm off, it was six in the morning.. went to take a shower and changed into my school uniform..

I was still in pain but this happened every month, so, we girls just had to keep up with it..

I combed my hair, applied lip balm on my lips to keep them moisturized.. I had really dry skin so I had to keep it in check..

After getting ready I picked up my school bag and went downstairs to eat breakfast..

As soon as I entered the living room, I smelled a really appetizing smell.. I tossed the bag aside on the couch and went directly to the kitchen to take a look..

I saw Elio wearing an apron, looking super handsome… making breakfast.. I sat on the dining table and Greeted him "Good morning Elio.."

Only then did he turn around to look at me.. gave me a smile and said "Good morning miss Da-eun.. I see that you are all ready to go to school.. please have this before you leave.." after saying that he placed a plate of pancake and a glass of juice in front of me..

"Thank you.." I thanked him and took a bite of the pancake.. "Mmm.. it's delicious Elio.. I love it.." I praised him and finished breakfast within a few minutes..

I walked to the couch, picked up my bag and left to walk my way to the school.. My school was almost three kilometers away from my home.. so, I usually left home early..

Dad told me that he'd get me a bike to go to school.. but I refused.. I just liked walking and it helped me heal.. helped me get over the loss of my parents slowly.. and after some time it became a habit..

As I kept walking, after ten minutes there was a house on the way.. where they kept ducks.. They were placed in the outer area of the house every morning.. But when I get back home the owner open their cage and let them play in the pool in his house..

I always stop there to play with then for a few minutes.. but not for long, or I'd get late for school.. So I only looked at them for a few minutes then again started walking..

After walking for the next fifteen or so minutes I arrived at my school.. It was 7:50 AM.. I still had time before the school started..

Before entering I took out my phone and called Yuna.. "Hey girl.. where are you? I just arrived at school.."

"I'll be there within ten minutes.. you should go to our class.. I'll meet you there.." Yuna said and hung up the call..

I wanted to wait for her but I decided otherwise and went to my class.. I was about to enter when someone came and stood in front of me and stopped me from entering..
