A VISIT

He reached his hands and pulled the refrigerator open. Tania released a sharp breath when she heard the sound of the refrigerator closing and his mild step gently fading away. She raised her head up, slowly. Only to see his back already disappearing.

"I Like young Master Lan more than our young master." Gwen said, drawing the attention of Tania and the rest of them.

"Why do you say so?" Mia joined in the new brought up conversation.

"Don't you see he atleast have a smile on his face, and of course kind and vibrant in nature." Gwen praised.

"I agree with her." Jasmine concurred with a constant nod.

"Vionna what do you think about it?" Jasmine innocently asked, but to Vionna she felt attacked by the jasmine question. She let out a small pretensive cough before she smiled awkwardly.

"Mmhm I don't know, they both have different attributes and of course attitudes too. I don't really know who is more likable though since I'm not in a position to think so." Vionna laid her own point.

Mia nodded slowly together with Tomika.

"Tania? what do you think?" Vionna called her name and diverted the same question to her. She felt she was not the only one that should be attacked here. She smiled cunningly.

"Urggh What?" Tania jolted the moment Vionna called her, she stammered.

"About Young Master Lan." Gwen exclaimed.

"What about him?" Tania asked with questionable wide eyes.

"He and our Young Master, who is more likeable?" Jasmine repeated this time.

Tania just stared at all of them dumbly. She couldn't believe this, how should she know that? are they nuts or something? "Urmm how... am I supposed to know that?" She asked them.

Tomika gave a slap to her forehead. "Come on Tania maybe from their characters?" Tomika said, more like a question.

"You guys.....You guys are gossiping you know. It's bad manners." Tania said trying to avoid the question.

"Since when did our Tania care about bad manners huh?" Sandra mocked with a teasing smile.

Tania heart began to skip a beat. The look on Sandra's face told her that she is suspecting something and she is so going to voice out her suspicion. Her heart was already caught in her throat.

"Tell us Tania, who is more likable. Unless you can't." Sandra Said mockingly.

"Why can't she?" Gwen asked Sandra. All the attention had already been on both of them.

"Because..... You guys know she fear everyone, wether calm, kind, gentle or wicked. Of course she don't know who is more likable because she doesn't like any?" Sandra Said with a mocking laugh.

Tania literally released a relieved sigh. She casted her glance to Vionna and caught her giving her teasing look that said. 'Seriously?'

Honestly she is starting to think about what thoughts are running through the mind of Vionna.

Tania just gave a nervous smile to her in response before she turned around to listen to Mia's chat with Jasmine.

. . .

The Liu corporation,

Inside the properly furnished office with light and simple texture that gave out the vibe of both comfort and luxury, Two men were seated having an important meeting discussion.

"Finally! it has been a long while Chris."

"Yeah you are right, how is your family?"

"They have been good so far. And what about yours?"

"Same as well my friend."

The two middle aged men laughed after clicking their wine glass together.

"To more riches!!" The other man said after they made their cheers.

"To more riches." Replied the other one, which was Christian Liu.

"So how is business going on your side?" The man asked in his deep and grave voice.

"As you can see, did anything change? Nothing, but it has only made a huge increment and a tremendous turn in the business world." Christian boasted with pride, chuckling loudly while slowly taking a sip from his wine glass.

"That's as expected." The man replied with a short chuckle of his own. "I hear your son had returned recently."

"Yes he did, four days ago. It hasn't been long."

"Any plans yet?"

Christian let out a sigh, dropping his glass of wine on the table and leaning completely on his swivel chair. "I haven't told it to him yet."

"I think you should."

"I plan to tonight."

The man nodded slowly at Christian Liu's reply.

"I actually came today to propose something." The man said cutting down to the chase.

A frown appeared on Christian Liu's face—slightly.

"And if I may inquire, that is?" Christian Liu asked a little bit lost.

The other man smiled faintly, seeing Christian's Expression.

"Well I know you are a little confused about what I'm saying."

"Yes I am extremely. The Mo corporation and the Liu's already have an agreement, a business partnership to be precised. So what warrants this new proposal you have. Please do Enlighten me.

Davis Mo chuckled a little after Christian dropped his statement.

"As you well know, my eldest daughter, Stephanie has a thing for your youngest son." Davis Mo said.

"So you want them to....."

"Yes, I want them to get married." Davis Mo said, cutting in to Christian's words.

"An arranged marriage?" Christian surprisingly asked.

"Is it bad? I mean, isn't that the same method we got our present spouses who we are living so happily with?" Davis Mo asked.

"That was us." Christian said.

"It dosen't make any difference. It is beneficial to both our companies, is it not. Think about it Chris." With that Davis Mo stood up and gently strode to the exit door. "Think about it." He repeated before he disappeared completely from sight. Leaving Christian Liu to be lost in thoughts at this tempting offer.
