Encounter With Stephanie

The blazing sun was out shining, threatening to burn the sky open. The market place was crowdy and noisy, the barely was enough space for people to walk about freely joint with the lining of cars moving in a straight line, disrupting the free movement more.

Mia, jasmine and Vionna were out in the market shopping for food stuff. Both Mia and jasmine were standing by the corner waiting for Vionna because the store they checked didn't have want the wanted, so Vionna took the job to go check other stores so they won't all waste more time.

It took complete thirty minutes before they heard Vionna calling them, showing that she had finally found the ingredient they needed.

Jasmine smiled happily, thankfully they wound leave this awful market soon.

Mia gestured for her to quickly cross over so they could get going.

But that wasn't an easy task, the line of cars on a row were all persisting to move forward without leaving any bit of space. Patiently, Vionna waited. Her exsparated sigh showed her tiredness as she carefully cleaned the drop of sweat trilling down by the side of her face.

Her little patience paid off when a little crossable gap was Open, without hesitation she quickly scurried to pass through without looking if the car right behind her was going to aim for that space.

Before she could spell her name, the car had a collision with her, gratefully it wasn't hard enough to hit her down. Only her bags came ruining down the ground.

Looking at she and the other girls hard work and sweat just go to ruin like that didn't sit well with her. She immediately bent down without minding if she is going to cause more damage than she had already done.

She started picking them up one by one right in front of the steaming vehicle.

The owner of vehicle still seemed to be in shock after what just happened. The blows of Horns from other stuck cars blew loudly.

Vionna wasn't done yet when the door to the car slung open. The lady who alighted gracefully strolled in her heels to where Vionna was squatted.

"Hey you!! what stunt was that?" Her angry shrill caught Vionna's attention.

People had already started to gather round the vicinity. Mia and jasmine were busy looking for ways to cross over to the troubled lane when the incident occured, they were worried sick.

Vionna stood to her foot after making sure she had got everything and they were packaged really well this time.

"I'm sorry it was a bad mistake and I ap....."

"Keep your Apology to yourself you dimwit." Stephanie bellowed loud.

"What?! I said I'm sorry and it was a mistake." Vionna looked aghast by the woman's temperament.

"A mistake that would have sent me to jail? Oh come on where were you eyes before crossing huh?" Stephanie refused to give in. The last thing she wanted was scandal right now.

Vionna gave out a loud breath and calming her nerves before she spoke up again. "I know I was in the wrong here, that's why I'm apologizing Miss."

The hold up kept growing bigger and bigger, numerous horns were blown from all directions.

Mia and jasmine finally made it to the other side after squeezing through while causing a mini commotion of their own. Already this was a market place so all this in the middle of the road only made the place jam-packed.

They immediately went to stand beside Vionna.

"Miss we are very sorry and we promise this won't happen again, please pardon her mistake." Mia took it upon herself to take the responsibility.

"Tchh lowly people." Stephanie sneered underneath her breath before returning back to her car when her phone vibrated in her hands. Atleast the wasn't any damage to her expensive baby so she thought to let it slide.

Hearing what Stephanie mumbled, Vionna's rage grew, she immediately tried to stump forward but was held my Mia in her bowing state. She gave her the eye. Vionna tried to protest but was shut by Mia's glare. She gave up and stood still untill Stephanie got in her car and drove off releasing the hold up market.

Jasmine held the bag from the fuming Vionna and followed Mia Infront as they started moving forward. Vionna sighed again before she followed them.
