Mrs Whitney was able to get some good people to help carry Jane to the hospital,they rushed her to the ward and waited for the doctor's report "who brought in the patient just now" the doctor asked " we did,I did" "please see me in my office" "okay" Mrs Whitney followed the doctor to his office " "please sit down" the doctor said " thank you" "what's your relationship with the patient" "nothing I saw in the alley this morning when I was going to my job and she was unconscious and covered in blood so I had to help her and bring her here" "well that's good of you" "what happened to her?" "she was raped and she also has a wound on her foot and it has been infected" Mrs Whitney covered her mouth and a tear fell at the corner of her eyes "what! who could have done that to her she's just a little girl" "she would be admitted and placed under observation for next two days am sure she would be fine" "alright thank you very much doctor,can I go and see her?" "yes you can"
It wasn't until midnight before Jane woke up,she feels pain all over her body and her head was throbbing,she tried to move her hand and felt someone's hand by her side " hello ma'am" she called out Mrs Whitney woke up "hello dear you are awake,how are you feeling now?" "who are you?" "my name is Mrs Whitney I brought you here early this morning you were badly injured and unconscious so I had to bring you in" "oh" was all Jane could say then the event came rushing back to her memory and she started crying "that bastard that monster he he he took me by force even though I had begged and pleaded with him he raped me ma'am " "shoo don't cry it's okay it's all alright am here now don't worry" Mrs Whitney pulled her into her embrace she might not have children of her own but she couldn't stand children crying or been sad especially not this girl,she had taken a personal liking to her,that's why she hadn't gone to work all day and stayed with her,and now that's she awake he couldn't bear to see her hurting "it's okay dear don't worry okay? stop crying now" after several hours of pacifying her Jane finally fell asleep"
