"I can't stop thinking about you Grace, you are all I think about, God knows I will give the wrong dosage if I try to attend to any patients right now," he said his eyes filled with passion and lust

"I think I should get going," Grace said and tried to walk past him, the truth is she wanted to stay right on the spot that she was and listen to him whisper those sweet words to him but she didn't believe him even though a part of her does

He doesn't even love her, he denied it right in her face that he knew about her love for him and that still hurts her now, but that still doesn't take away all the love that she feels for him, she has loved him for years and despite everything that has transpired between them all these years, that still made the love even stronger

She needs to leave this place if she wants to survive the crazy temptation right in front of her.

As she planned on moving away she was stopped by Mike, he used his hand to push her slightly to the wall and placed his hand right over her shoulder looking directly into her eyes

"you should let me go, this is inappropriate, people will see us and they will start to talk nonsense, you are married for God's sake," she said, even though she didn't like to admit the fact that he indeed married cause it hurts her, it was still the truth

Mike wanted to say something in his defence when Patrica's voice rang from behind him

"my love I've been looking all over for you," Patrica said, she had indeed been looking all over for him, she had barely seen him these days

He has been so busy these days after the accident that happened to Jane, she wonders why that maid is so important to Chris that he has to have Mike treat her by himself

So she came to the hospital to see for herself, she got there and asked for directions to the private wards only to find her husband in a very provocating posture with Grace Smith, she felt like moving closer to her and tearing her into two, she can't believe that she still likes him after all these years, how ironic? .

Grace quickly escaped from the grip of Mike, this was the most embarrassing thing that she had ever gone through in her life, she never got along with Patricia in school, only God knows what must be going through her mind at the moment, she must think that she's chasing after her husband or something

"Uhm excuse me I will just go get something from the ward and head home" she said

There was no way she was passing through that hall, she was sure that Patricia's gaze would follow her till she moved out of the door

Mike could not say anything, he didn't know how to defend what just happened now so he decided to just follow Grace into the ward

"I need to check on Jane," he said without even looking at her and left

Patricia who was here to originally see Chris took that as an opportunity to go in and see him

"I will just go with you, darling; I should pay a visit to Chris too," she said and followed him into the ward.

Patricia got into the ward and saw Grace on the couch, she was fondling her phone and Mike was beside Jane checking her up, why did she feel like the two of them didn't have anything to do in here

But she couldn't care less, she scanned the room and her eyes landed on the man that she had loved all her life, she walked up to the desk where he his working and placed her hand on the table so he could notice her presence

"I heard about what happened," she said to him and Chris looked up at her

He never had issues with her and even though she is Angel's friend, he never really saw her as a bad person

Seeing that he was just looking at her and didn't say anything, she decided to say something more

"I hope you were not injured as well," she asked

"no I'm not thanks for asking, and I'm sorry for taking your husband away for days it just that I need him here, you must miss him already," Chris said thinking that we came here to see Mike

"Honestly I do miss him but it's fine, I can manage," she said as she glanced towards Grace to see her reaction but she got nothing from her, Mike also looked at Grace to see her reaction but he also saw nothing

"Patricia let's go to my office" he said and dragged her along to his office, Patricia didn't want to leave, she still wanted to stay and continue staring at Chris but she knew that she needed to comport herself so she obliged, she hopes that someday she would get to be with him alone.

Grace got home very tired she needed all the rest that she could get, as the past two days had been crazy, immediately she opened the door, the people she saw were Jane and Christopher, her dad seemed to be reading them a story or something cause they looked so serious listening to him talk

"so you guys have forgotten all about your favourite aunt," she said putting her hand on her waist pretending to be hurt

"Aunty Aunty" Chris ran towards her, he had not seen much of he since yesterday and come to think of it he had not seen his mom and dad too which was quite strange, they were even supposed to go to Grandma's place today

He would ask her when he sees her, Jane also went ahead and hugged her, she will do anything that her brother does

"Aunt Grace where's Mom and Dad," he asked

Grace didn't know what to say or how to answer so she just kept mute.
