The secret letter.

The ceiling moved desultorily in Lydan's vision as his eyes slightly opened, he couldn't hearken to the whispers anymore–the pain in his scar was lessened.

"What is happening?" Lydan's notion muttered," Where am I?"

Lydan listed his head to the left and saw Edmund talking to someone–his eyes closed again.

"Sir, is he alright?" Edmund asked worriedly.

"I can not appear to find the reason why he swooned when his body isn't that weak" the old croaker replied "But he's alright now"

"It's good to hear that, thank you, sir," Edmund said in relief. "Let me take you outside"

Edmund beckoned for the old man to follow him outside–the old man came following Edmund and saw Ophni outside the door.

"How is the lady?" Ophni asked in a serious voice.

"Pardon me, who?" Edmund replied.

"The lady...tsk...I am asking about Lydan" Ophni said in a mild rage.

"His highness is alright now, the croaker has said to let him rest for a while," Edmund replied.

"That is good enough then" Ophni grunted as he went down the stairs.

"He will not go in?" Edmund's notion muttered.

"This way sir," Edmund said while gesturing as the old man followed him down the stairs.

...

Lydan's eyes opened again after a while and the first thing he saw was the ceiling that wasn't moving anymore–the sundown's golden shafts were coming from every window while lightening up the room.

Lydan sat up as he looked around and saw the surroundings that were of his room.

"Am I in my room?" Lydan muttered as the light flashed on his face because of the suddenly opened door.

"Your highness! you're finally awake" mirthfully Edmund said as he rushed toward Lydan's bed.

Lydan smiled at Edmund in solace and nodded– "What happened?" he signed.

"How are you feeling, your highness?" Edmund asked.

"I am feeling fine but how did I end up in my room?" Lydan signed.

"I was just preparing things for you when suddenly prince Ophni came with you on his back," Edmund said.

"Did Ophni bring me here?" Lydan signed.

"Yes, and he also called for the croaker to check up on you"

"But I fixed a dagger on his neck and he still took me here" Lydan's notion muttered.

"Do you need anything, your highness?" Edmund asked.

"Water" Lydan signed.

Edmund poured the water into a glass from the side table and gave it to Lydan, who took it from him with a smile as a thank you.

Lydan was drinking water when suddenly the door banged open and Ophni stepped in.

...

"Your highness I can sense you," Richard said with a smirk–" Please Come Out"

Ayrton stepped inside the room while smiling "I guess you had your little nap not long before" Ayrton said, sarcastically–" You sensed me just now when you should have, as soon as I came."

"It's lovely to see how you know my sleep schedule," Richard responded in a comical tone, "I guess I am getting old or you're getting stronger"

"Your highness" Gage herald.

"What happened to Edward?" Ayrton asked as his stare fell on Edward.

"He is shocked, your highness" Gage replied.

"Shocked? how?"

"We were in the middle of asking for discipline."

"Are you maybe ignoring me?" Richard said.

"Perhaps if you come down, I will not then," Ayrton said as he sat on the chair while gaping at Richard.

"What is the reason for you to come then? you said you will noway visit me on the academy's premises, "

"Come down and I will tell you"

Richard scowled and jumped from the window as he seated himself gracefully on the Davenport–he signaled Gage to step outside with Edward.

"What about today?" Ayrton asked.

"Your both youngish cousins blessed me with today's event of the blast"

"I am not asking about that"

"You're still cold-hearted as ever, you could have at least asked for charity in their discipline as my first student"

"You're saying it like you would show leniency if I asked you to do so"

Richard gawped into Ayrton's eyes for a moment before opening the drawer–he took out a sealed letter and slid it toward Ayrton.

"Is that all" Ayrton asked.

"Just this and nothing more"

"There should be something else beside it"

"I am affrighted I don't know, this is all I received "

"Thanks, professor," Ayrton said as he stood up to leave the room.

Richard was peering at Ayrton as he was trudging toward the door–but before he could open the door huge scurrility of fire came from behind.

...

"I am in no way making any plans with you anymore," Lynorr said in rage as she was walking ahead of Arlo.

"You still are condemning your childhood friend," Arlo said, walking behind Lynorr in the frontal foyer of the academy.

"His intention was true!"

"We still are safe and sound and besides if he'd the true intention to kill us then he'd have but he did not because it would make him apostate and he is a principal to the academy we just enrolled in"

"Zip it! Arlo, we're safe because we had our spell, or else you know what would betide,"

"Hey, it's just not my fault."

"What did you say?" Lynorr said as she turned back to look at Arlo–a small inflow of water started arising from her hand.

"You seriously are considering it?" Arlo said as he took a step back, "Hey, I don't want to fight you."

Lynorr without harking to another word, shot an edgy surge of water at Arlo as he jolted back and finessed the surge with a rustic defense that he contrived from his power.

Thousands of water droplets scattered on the bottom and faded in the huge foyer–Arlo tried to stabilize himself because he failed to control due to the heavy surge that he dodged.

But before he could stabilize himself, another surge came and clashed right at him while breaking his rustic defense.

"You know I was going easy on you," Arlo said.

"As if," Lynorr said chuckling "You are weak"

Both of them suddenly felt a shiver down their spines as soon as they heard a voice.

"I thought you both would have heeded my words but I guess I was wrong," Feron said.
