Match day! (I)

Few days later after their unveiling...

"I think going to die if I move a muscle", Ash grunted as he laid down on the field when the coach told them to rest after an intense training section for their match against Lourdes FC.

"Don't worry, you will get used to it in time. Cause sometimes it is more intense than this", Hanson chip in as he sat on the turf beside Ash.

"c'mon, is that really necessary" Ash whine as he pulled off the top of his training jersey revealing his inner vest.

"oho, someone really want to have it with the female fans by showing his abs here and there. You want to compete on whose abs is better or you will cowardly concede that mine is better", Samuel comments as he joined them while some of the female fans that came to watch their training section was going wild as the boys were showing off some extra skin .

"as if", Ash snorted as the competing spirit rose in him.

"Now that reminds me, where does your friend really gets his slangs from, cause it is really something", Hans chipped in to stop an impending abs war as he looked at Happy who was standing aloof.

"Don't really know but when I did ask him about it, he made a silly comment about him not knowing but it just comes to him and he just says it. And also he mentioned that he must have probably used it in his past life", Ash answered in a heartbeat.

"oh", Hanson and Samuel said in perfect sync as they looked at Happy with raised brows who just shuddered subconsciously as he felt their stares passing through his body.

"again", Fidelis clamoured as he punched the field in frustration because out of twenty shots he had only caught five which made him really irritated.

"Are you really sure, you seem to be out of it", Frank who was his best friend asked with his voice filled with concern as he caught the ball Happy had tossed for him while he was watching them.

"yep, a hundred percent sure. Don't hold back, use your superpotentia technique", Fidelis affirmed him as he punched his fist into his palm as he readied himself in the goalpost.

"you ask for, so don't cry if it goes in", Frank tried to dissuade him as he positioned and activated his superpotentia technique.

(Note: superpotentia technique and superpotentia skill are the same with a slight difference. Superpotentia technique are technique developed by the players while superpotentia skills are granted to the players when the players get a contract with a patron God and it's more powerful)

The cloud seem to get dark as dark energy gathered round the ball, Frank kicked the ball on the air as the dark energy congregated more on the ball then he kicked it towards the goalpost. If one look closely at the ball, it will look as if planets and galaxies seems to be in a continuous chain of destruction.

"Armageddon shot", Frank shouted as the shot made its way towards Fidelis who calmed his breathing down as he activated his superpotentia technique.

"come forth, Aegis", Fidelis shouted as Aegis appeared in an ethereal form in from of him. the shot collided with the shield with sheer force, that made Fidelis grit his teeth. Then he heard a snarky comment from a certain person who almost made him lose concentration.

"When I try to show off to my mom using force, she usually just contain till am helpless. Dang, I sure miss those days, or when I get creative to catch a quick witted squirrel. Many think that they are stronger by what they know, but when they start thinking outside what they know they will realise how vast the world is" Happy said away as he scribbled in his jotter without care not knowing the impact his words had on Fidelis.

'huh, get creative, contain. What is he saying... Wait, this is it', these thoughts ran through Fidelis head as he planned to experiment on what Happy said.

Fidelis closer his eyes and concentrated, then Aegis started spreading out and covered the ball locking it in a sphere.

"Aegis version two 'the contain', be creative", Fidelis said as he looked at Happy while he caught the ball to the shock of Frank and the fans.

"whoa, you created a second version of you superpotentia technique at a split second stopping my shot. You are really something", Frank said as he ran to Fidelis he just held the ball looking at Happy.

"yeah even though I would love to brag but I won't, he was the one that created that split second miracle with his words. To be sincere, our club has not just signed just any player, we got ourselves a rare talisman", Fidelis muttered with a bright smile.

Frank just nodded as he trusted his friend's intuition cause he was always spot on, then he turned to look at the named worker of miracles.

Happy felt so many states at him, so he looked from his jotter in which he was absentmindedly writing with a confused expression that meant 'what happened, is something wrong with my face or what the hell is going on'

The coach just watched the scene as a slight smile crept on his lips, before speaking to his assistant.

"I think, we got ourselves an outstanding first eleven for our next match. So round up the boys I want to have a talk with them"

"Yes Mr Hans, am on it", the assistant said before walking out.

Mrs Petra wore a ripped jeans and a Daniest FC jersey with her son's name on it, as she was about to walk out of the door her eyes shone with a golden brilliance then two scimitar appeared in her hand as she pinned an invisible person on the wall.

"Show yourself or in one clean cut your head goes rolling on the floor", she threatened.

"Please don't kill me, I came in peace", Lilith said as she raised her hands in the air to show that she wasn't hostile while she undone her invisibility spell.

"And your coming in peace means snooping around", Mrs Petra snorted.
